wow after 15 years of pure palm grip i finally found an alternative grip that could work for me. liked and subbed, appreciate the work you put into this!
I've got to admit that you are the only FPS player that can actually explain logical and concrete ways for improvement! I'd give you a dime for this video alone if I could.
I can confirm TenZ is in fact not actually that tall at all. I met him at finalcon(finalmouse convention for the starlight pegasus) and I would have to say he's somewhere in the neighborhood of 5'8-5'10. Just rough numbers though as someone standing a little over 6 ft.
@@vincentvandeperre1670 really good point . If I overthink about my grip then I keep it changing it and struggle to focus . But when I don’t think about it at all then I play a lot better and I don’t even remembers the grip I use . It just comes naturally after playing for like 5 minutes
I find claw gripping really useful and comfortable for flicks and tracking, I don’t know how to explain it but I used to play valorant with fingertip grip. During the time I was only silver 1, idk why but claw gripping allows me to move my wrist more comfortably and it helps me with more precise aim. With fingertip grip it felt like my whole wrist was stuck, like it was locked and I coudn’t move it as well as today. Try it out because it helped me out
I aired my middle finger in the air a couple times when i first tried this grip but i started to grip it around the front of the mouse the same exact way as the ring finger and i feel like it grips the mouse wayyyy better because it counters the great force of the palm rather then just depending on the weak ring finger to oppose that palm force, one downside to this is that i had to change my right click to a diff key because my middle finger keeps clicking it but it’s worth it for the aim
Just came across your channel and thought to myself, i swear i recognise that name. Now iv realised its Rambo from Team 3D back in the day that i used to follow! the good ole cs 1.6 days :D
He used to play 1.4. he plays 2.3 now wich is concidered a medium sens. Playing only with your hand on the desk is very bad tho he will probably not have a long lasting carreer
Hello, thanks for the explanation, really clear. If you know about it: Does his wrist rests completely on the mousepad or just scratchs a bit on it ? May be the wrist doesn't even touch the mousepad ? I have the same interrogation about Shroud
so kinda like twistzz where his palm isnt touching the mousepad? i always find this grip to be hard to control for me since i've always aimed with my palm touching my mousepad. Tried it for a game once and I liked how smooth it made my aim but it still was kindof hard to control
Could u analysis NIKO's mouse grip too?He use sth like claw grip since 2years ago Not the palm grip one like old time, really curious of how he grip his mouse with claw(not sure if claw)
I didn't know I had the exact same grip with tenz lmao. I even use my ring finger and press it top right like pushing it to the palm and it creates so much more stability but in exchange for abit less micro adjustments
I grip my mouse using 3 fingers: index on the left button, middle finger on the middle button and ring finger on the right button. What´s your opinion about this?
@@xtebite For those like me, who work with sotware like AutoCAD, using the mouse wheel all the time (to zoom in/zoom out), its almost "natural" to use 3 fingers instead of 2.
Hello, I know that you will answer me with the slightest chance, but I have a question: How to return the form after being absent from the game for 1 week or more. Maybe I need to tune in somehow differently or something like that? Спасибо вам!👍
Off topic but I was wondering if you had any experience with ergonomics of MOBA gaming. I can't seem to find a proper sitting guideline for league and I cannot seem to find a comfortable posture.
Hey Ron I just watched Ur mouse grip videos and it's rlly good. Is there any way I could show u a picture of my mouse grip and then u can help me correct it. Thank you
So your palm/wrist is not touching the mousepad? Maybe it is for him since he has tall hands? Mine is floating if I want to grab the mouse with my ringfinger. Is this correct, or should I let my wrist rest on the pad?
I find it's easier to find your optimal grip if you pretend your mousewheel and sidebuttons don't exist and just focus on pure aim. I realized that my aim was compromised because I was subconsciously trying to keep all my buttons accessible while still aiming. This style of grip requires using your middle finger for scroll wheel instead of your index finger
Is his wrist is elevated from the mousepad when he aims? Because the back of his hand is pushed in on the back of the mouse and I feel like its highly probable that he plays with his wrist off the pad.
experiment and go with what feels most comfortable and natural for you. theres so much variation between pros’ sitting and arm positions, so whatever you feel is best is best for you
@@ybsss4223 at the moment I feel rather tense in the shoulder when I play, as if I’m constantly raising it. Trying to find a position to fix it and play much more relaxed. I’ll keep trying stuff out but I’ve seen how many positions there are, just a matter of persistence:)
What do you think is the best mouse for claw palm hybrid grip where you need palm support to anchor the mouse, so far I like np01 and g303 but looking for something smaller.
Only thing i can think of is ur hand is too large for the mouse and maybe can find a Lil bit bigger size by measuring ur hand and looking on a site with reccomended mouse sizes Drying ur hands with something Or maybe a glove that helps with grip like something rubber based but thin
hello ron! i have year following your channel and i have silly question, do you know how to no tense my arm while im aiming or tracking have any guide of that?
that's the downside of the fingertip grip u can't hold it the same everytime and also how cold ur hand is affects ur whole grip but im not an expert he probably talked about it in his older videos
best way to practice consistency with a new grip is not to hop into an actual game. hop into an aim trainer (of your choosing), run one round of whatever skill test, and try to force yourself to be cognizant of your mouse grip more so than hitting your shots. I would work on that in the aim trainer for 30-60 minutes prior to hopping into a game and then doing the same thought process in game (don't worry about accuracy, just worry about consistency in grip whilst playing your game). from there, I would say after even just a week or so of consistent thoughtful practice, your grip should stay rather consistent.
hey i want some help. i have a computer table which has a platform for holding printers in the place where i keep my legs. So i keep my legs are super folded towards my base of the chair.
