I think this guy’s tone works very well for this Pantera cover and it’s damn near perfect ! I was born in 1977 & grew up listening to Carnivore,Fallout,Type O Negative,PanterA,Iron Maiden,Judas Priest,SLaYeR,KoRn,Tool,Etc I currently live in Windsor,Ontario,Canada which is is across the river from Detroit Rock City!! So I use to go to the mighty “Harpos” in Detroit on Harper Ave. so I seen a lot of great bands there such as the iconic DVD filming of “Black Label Society” in which “Harpos” sold out of booze & that’s when bassist Robert Trujillo was the bassist for “BLS” & wow what an amazing gig that was! I also seen the DVD filming of “Hatebreed” as well which was sold out & an intense live gig \m/ I also seen Trivium there for my first time in roughy 2004/2005 when they were literally very young kids & wow!! what an amazing gig that was, they were only 18-19yrs old opening for Amon Amarth & Children Of Bodom but Amon Amarth had already been out since 1992 & weren’t new to the game but just couldn’t break that barrier but both Amon Amarth & Trivium were awesome!! I met both bands after their sets as they both came back to their merch booths to chat with fans & sign autographs & take pictures & both bands were so down to earth :-) I’ve also seen “Clutch” at “Harpos” as well as “ZAO” - “Theory Of A Deadman” which is a favourite band of my ex wife’s & “Halestorm” opened up for them that night. I’ve also seen Megadeth & Exodus there Etc, great rocking venue \m/
