Just started B1 therapy, not diagnosed with Parkinson's but it does seem to run in the family and I'm at the same age as when family members were diagnosed ... Hopefully the B1 will help my brain stay healthy and keep the dreaded Parkinson's at bay !!
My physician has me take 600 mg of Benfotiamine and 600 mg Alpha Lipoic Acid daily. Web MD says: Benfotiamine is similar to thiamine (vitamin B1), but is absorbed by the body better than thiamine. The body changes benfotiamine to thiamine. Since the body absorbs benfotiamine better than thiamine, benfotiamine can increase how much thiamine is in the body. (The best price for these that I've found is through The Vitamin Shoppe and Benfotiamine by Life Extension.)
Stoped use of wheel chair Started two daily Vit B1 100mg and magneisium 250mg two in morning. Started Parkinson’s new medication how ever did not respond so well. Few days of very slow walking with lower spine pain and use of wheel chair to walking three miles with full stride no lower pain in spine. It’s been a few days now all seems well.
Thank you both for creating such wonderful knowledge sharing, so appreciated.

I think it's been said that sublingual B1 isn't really a thing. You can't absorb it sublingually.
