2:05 How did you get the Drake's to fit? I was told they didn't work on the newer trucks. I've got a 95 5.8 and a 3881 intake sitting in the box. I've been waiting until I can do it all at once.

Where did you get the power steering conversion. Love the build man! You have my subscription.
They put Saginaw pumps in Ford vans. Call around to the junk yards in your area, I found one out of a E350 van with a 351 for $55 a couple weeks ago. Any year van with a 302 or 351 Windsor should have the pump and bracket. Only difference was the earlier engines had a v belt and changed to serpentine in the late 80’s. You will need a an adaptor fitting for the pump and steering gear as the stock hose won’t work with the pump. A few different companies sell a hose kit if you search for ford Saginaw conversion.
you guys do anything to the transmission? drive shafts?
I’m 100% down with everything but the 4.88 gears. Just why I’m running stock 3.55s on my 93 have enough low end grunt to make stuff happen but also cruising down the interstate at 90 I’m only turning 2600 rmp
How do you like the 4.88 gears? Better than 4.56?

I had a 1996 bronco it was 2 tone blue and white with blue interior had 320.000 on it when I sold it I miss it every day

Roll bar does not tie into the frame. It is bolted to the body and has backing plates on the underside.
How do you keep the inside dry??

Where you required to calibrate the mass airflow meter or re-chip the ECM in anyway, or are you running on the factory tune?
Running factory tune with stock injectors on the 351. Stay tuned for some updates though.... had to pull the engine and ended up putting a 427 back in!

What did you end up doing for the pin strips along the two-tone paint post paint job?...store bought or painted on?
I found a guy who had vinyl pinstripes and had him come out and put them on. They really cleaned up the paint and gave it a finished look!

This one is plug and play since '96 351s had MAF. I could probably have it tuned to squeeze a few more ponies out, but it isn't necessary to run.
I have a 95 f150 2wd with a blown head gasket. I've put so much work into interior and steering to just trash it would be crazy. Thinking about replacing my 302 5.0 with 351w. 351c has more power but 351w has the same bolt pattern. Need to find one I can just drop into the hood and go

Hey man I’m thinking about buying a 95 bronco and wanted to get your opinion on what should probably been the first upgrade. Also if you know what some of the common issues they have.

So I have a question..... 🌾. I am getting 1996 Explorer..... it looks a bit dingy on the inside, I would like to upgrade it .....make it a little nicer inside.
The seats are a sort blue green colour, 🤨. I have no idea where to start.... if you could give me a few suggestions that would be wonderful. 🌹

I found it on the full size bronco message boards. Look in the classified section - there is a guy there who finds them in junkyards and sells them for a great price!

Do you think the single exhuast was a better option than doing a dual exhuast with an x pipe?
Everything I read said that the single 3" was as good as a dual setup, as long as you switched to a better Y pipe. I went this route because I could get the whole kit and didn't have to take it to a shop to weld up custom exhaust.
I havent been able to find the edelbrock 3881 intake anywhere. Had it on order for a month now through summit and estimate time is 6/20/2021. :(

Did you leave the stock pistons and bottom end? I know later broncos are MAF, so did you have to tune or are you using the stock tune?
Stock tune. This whole engine swapped again to stroke to 427. Upgraded MAF at that point.
Just wondering what made you choose 4.88 gears or any other size other than stock. I have a stock 93 FSB XLT 351W, stock gears, and plan to upgrade to similar to your build. Only, I'm going with edelbrock heads, upper/lower intake. Bassani headers, y pipe and exhaust 3 inch.
I was torn between 4.56 or 4.88 for the gears as both line up well with 35" tires. I ended up going with the 4.88s mainly based on the advice of the all knowing internet. If I had to do it again I'd probably go with the 4.56 just to get a little lower rpm on the freeway.
@@steveluchak9569 I've decided to go with 4.10 because I want to cruise at 70 mph and not scream at 2700 rpm's.

How many hp and torque did this end up having?
Not entirely sure, but my engine builder said I should be around 300HP with the setup that I have (intake, heads, cam, exhaust). It definitely feels good in the seat of the pants and chirps the tires all day long.
nice bronco brother, i have a 94 and love it. hey question about the headers, will be moving to texas within the next 3 years, how did you run the headers with the smog rules? and i don't see any of your smog stuff.
All smog stuff is there. By '96 they had removed a lot of the more restrictive pumps and replaced them with electronics. The only thing this one really has relative to the headers is an EGR valve, and the headers have a tube that bolts right up to it.

What size injectors did you use on this build?
Stock injectors. There is another update coming soon. The engine had to be pulled...so upgrades were made while it’s out. Hope to share soon!
@@FollowTheBuilds the fp regulator you Used is for a 5.0. It works with the 351 as well?
@@dhd2313 Yes, the FPR works for either engine since they use the same fuel rail setup.

This is a Tuffy center console. This one is 12" wide and fits perfectly between the seats.
