I don't want to be a hater but it's disappointing that when asked to suggest resources for people who are interested in learning more about manifesting all she did was mention herself (np with that mind you she is the guest after all) and Sammy Ingram twice. Having a near 50 minute long podcast about manifesting without name dropping either Joseph Murphy or Neville Goddard is like not mentioning Spare or Carroll in a chaos magick episode. Hell she even brings up the law of assumption, and the concept of 3d both of which are Neville things. Sammy herself reps Neville by name in half her video titles.
Wow, this channel is lighting up my memories big time and thank you for being you DD. Every time I watch or listen to one of your talks it lights up my memory of my time while Pluto was in the last of Scorpio, all of Sagittarius, and the first couple of degrees of Capricorn when I was in my Sorcerer's Apprentice phase of my Hermit 6/2 Manifesting Generator pattern. Oh boy did I do the thing that you talk about big time, calling in this or that spirit on a whim of desire that had my first altar whose artifacts collected until just months after Pluto entered Capricorn and then the result of calling in so much energy from such as Eris, Kali, Pele, Legba...and it doesn't end there was destroyed by fire.
In retrospect I realize that it wasn't exactly a mistake, but beware the neophyte cause had I Tai Ji and Yoga in my youth and good nutrition and cardio exercise instead of TV and no exercise and junk food microwave everything processed and calories yeah, nutrition no, no wonder the mainstream is sick and immature af. That's the me that was preserved by the temple that was destroyed, so no blame even though shelter has been unstable and improvised to put it kindly while Pluto crossed my 4th house and Sun right in the middle of the sign at 14º Capricorn.
As the rituals return it lights up a totally new me that's been cleansed by all the 'trauma' that Pluto kicked up. Fear of Pluto begone! Meditation is key, the system called Pluto is as a band or a small coven with 6 or maybe 7 small objects roughly spherical orbit together in the cosmic dance. Gone was my studio in home full tilt everything but a drum kit, but I had some hand drums and percussion objects just as Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008 in January, my apartment home gone by fire before the Sun was out of Leo that year. As with the Pluto system having my setup reduced to just a guitar and my voice and some David Bowie songs on my ipod that woke up the Sun of my song craft without computers, but the tracks that provided me the keys to practice that by learning a few Bowie songs I got enough skill to bring through my own songs again, which practice kept my humanity from going totally foul in my camping years with freegan vagabond leading me to learn the high craft of house keeping and farm skills, and the interpersonal ethics and emotional maturity to be in a band that isn't a faction of warring egos.
So yeah, buyer beware when calling in the spirits before mentioned. On the other hand they sort of adopted me once the magick current was turned on and in retrospect the destructo thing is what I needed to break me out of my shell. Thelema was the set and setting of my Pluto in Sagittarius years and I now know Horus Babalon to be very powerful and kind, yet not nice at all if your value your little ego traps. Buyer beware? Some people explode young and that's part of humanity's bargain. The initiations Crowley tweaked are designed to blast your ego's traps to smithereens, and they did that very well and true.
Boom, there we go, I ought to be writing my own book by now at 49 years with half a century coming up in less than a month. 49, 7x7 the grail of Babalon turns on again with my system more apt to channel it. NO blame! These typings practice that very thing. Thank you once again DD, your knowings are well developed and based on the facts that were not as well explored in 1992 when the Modern Magick appeared in my path.
When manifesting is it a requirement to speak out loud? Is repeating a sentence in your head not effective or what? Ive always repeated things in my head in hopes of the specifics happening. Ill try to speak aloud more often. This video has touched me more then u can think. Im currently in love with someone who has told me that not even a little bit of anything may come out of each other. Someone told me to manifest her as a joke but i honestly dont think it should be. I truly believe i want this woman but getting the attention from her seems impossible.
