Had a ton of fun with this one! to clarify too when when Danny and I are talking about an empath the context of the video is talking about what is called a "codependant empath." someone who feels energy to such an extent that they cant discern what is their energy vs what is others.

As an empathic fiesty latina, I tend to struggle a lot with control, over extending my help and boundaries. My mind is blown away with how much programming we Latinas were fed to be the perfect caretaker... but we never learned to take care of ourselves. 🙏🏼 Such a good episode.
I'm with you girl... I also come from the Mexican heritage and the programming we have been given. Just now learning at 42 how much I gave to others and not myself..

Thanks for this conversations. I just found out that my daughter is an Empath. We have no idea how to calm her emotions for a little girls who just lost her daddy . But this conversation help me to have step by step taking my daughter to understand that : don't TAKE anybody's emotion become your emotion.

I resonated so much with this. I'm a crone from many lives ago. I was a graphic artist by trade, then was a body builder for a decade (great experience, it grounded me). Then I spent the rest of my working years as a hairstylist. Little did I know that I would be working on their crown chakra. This is where I received my real education into the spirit world. I have never charged a dime for a healing. Now retired my biggest joy is still coaching. Spiritual coaching. God has always brough me people. Plus, one of the reasons God hired me is because I will stop everything if I have to see to a situation. It's been almost 25 years of service to God. It's been a great run. Great Video gusy

It seems like in constant self-defense people who suffer under narcissistic parental control or any kind of consistent abuse of narcissism. Tend to have some narcissistic traits because of it!

I think and know that many of us go for people like our parents.. it could be a wounded female or a wounded male as they feel they need to fix.. its very interesting and complex relationships.🎉🎉
Wow…wow…wow! This is SO amazing…the focus on the truth of this dynamic (‘narcissists’ and ‘empaths’) and peeling away layers that I haven’t heard articulated before … he is spot on. He’s helping me to carve out what I’ve felt and couldn’t totally put my finger on when it comes to my part in relationships I’ve experienced…he really ties it together in a way I can understand without just making a ‘judgment’ about the other party, which helps me to see a granular description of how to embrace accountability within myself as a path to healing…and a more enlightened understanding of moving forward.

Feel it to heal it, that's what happened to me on Thursday and Friday breath work at Awaken! I still am wrapping my head around it, but I was forced to go through three things from my childhood that were absolutely terrifying but I kept breathing through it and breathing through it. These are things I couldn't even talk about out loud without just freezing, I just tried to block it. I wasn't able to talk about The breathwork sessions even to Gabe until Friday night. But since then I can talk about it over and over and it's like it's not in me like that anymore. I had to feel it again so I could heal it! Love this Thank you

I don't help people in order to look good... I help people people because it feels good.
I believe that empaths have the power to change the trajectory of a narcissist path, planting seeds of love and light in them. So at one point they'll wake up, humble themselves, and grow. I have done that once, he got better. But not in a big way. I don't hang out with him anymore so idk how he is rn.
Soon your assumptions will be wrong bro. Just wait and watch. It's just acting. I know as an empath we just wanna help others. And we think we can change people through our empathy. But a narcissist can never ever change. Never ever.

@@anamikanandi9910 That's true, I left the narcissist I was with to save myself from anymore of his misery. Narcissists are so wrapped up in themselves, they don't have room for anyone on any kind of deep level or honesty.

Well I have a show business so this is weird.
He’s exactly right- when we abandon ourselves as children we develop role selves to get our needs met. This is called enmeshment trauma.
The problem is - we can lose our “selves” so much that when we statt to breakdown we realize we have no idea who we are.
I think this is what many of us struggle with. Even after a years of therapy , emdr, meditation etc I just discovered the break down of this phenomenon.
Literally having to find our authentic selves in our 30’s/ 40’s. It’s like starting all over again but it’s extremely difficult…this is why we have imposter syndrome etc!

"Narcissist" has become a buzz word. As an older person, let me tell you that almost everyone today is a "narcissist". In the 90's there was this big movement, all of the influencers at the time (on TV) were interviewing "experts" who told everyone that they are special and that we should advocate for ourselves. We were passing out trophies for kids who just showed up for sports. Everyone gets a trophy.
Now I see generations of self centered, butt hurt people who cry because of every perceived bad thing that happened to them. If you think I exaggerate, look at people who have survived throughout history who experienced far worse, for example, holocaust survivors. Not one of them went on a podcast to whine and whimper. They were so glad to be alive, everything else was easy.
If you want to change your life, put your phone down. Be kind. Help others. Prioritize yourself, yes. But prioritize yourself ONLY, that is why you all feel so disconnected. I'll be attacked for this comment, but Idc. If it strikes a cord with you, it's probably because it's the truth.

Absolutely. For me it was learning to have boundaries and improve my self love/self worth. Realise there's nothing wrong with me and that I'm perfectly imperfect and that is okay! 😊 Mother has strong narc traits and so I attracted it over and over until I healed it- same as Aaron pretty much. In partners, bosses and even so called friends.

Too nuch blaming the victim/empath here. Putting vulnerablities out there more is against setting boundaries that Im for. We see empaths differently. Im not responsible for any Narc Ive ever met and they were not hand picked by me unconsciuidly chosen ones. They were evergday people anyone could run into and many werent Narcissts. I stand in my power by realizing the next person that walks up to me was not magnetized to me or my fault they arrived. You talk of equalizing a Narc and empath at poles. Its not horizontal it's vertical and they are at a low frequency where empaths have a higher spiritual frequency and no fear of abandinment because Jesus never leaves you. Issue resolved. Narcs cant say that so they fear abanonment. Hope you get where I coming from. Empaths arnt foolish givers but give everyone one chance to show who they are. And who that is was not drawn in by me Grandma🎉

Please , educate yourself about ayahuasca more before you decide to try it.
Don’t join any initiation rituals without understanding purpose.
Yes you may get money and happiness after it but what will be the price later?
The ritual itself is opening you to any entity to enter your body. If you aren’t protected entities can renter your body during state of unconsciousness and who knows if they will stay or leave your body.
Be careful. There are many other safer ways to become spiritual person without joining any rituals. Just it requires more self work but ritual seems easy… even why do you need to travel somewhere far away to become spiritual if you can do it right in your room? Think about it.
The whole ayahuasca thing became monetized just to make this thing popular and take money from people and take their energies.
Educate yourself about esotericism (how law of energy works) without joining Satan.
