Ya I need to buy another for my foreman . I just felt like the pioneer was sluggish so I did it first . So I’m really wondering now how the foreman would do , maybe I need to race the rancher again 😝
Great information, I always used K&N on my 4 wheel drives, the foam filters save money in the long run. You are right about the performance, they will improve performance and even mileage. My first warranty service the dealer replaced the factory filter with a washable foam filter, not sure of the brand but it is washable. We have that super fine red dust in Northern Arizona, gets into everything. Thanks for the video.
I've used foam air filters for a long time also. My 04 Arctic Cat 650V2 came with one from the factory. Most of mine have been K&N filters. I think the one in my Husaberg bike is a Uni. I haven't had any problems with any of the filters. I definitely prefer being able to clean and reuse the filter rather than throw it out. The service manager at the BMW motorcycle dealer in Green Bay tried to convince me that these filters would work better if you didn't oil them. I just pointed at that sticker that says to oil it and left it at that. Covid made for some weird situations. Very surprising the things that became scarce. "Prostate exam gone wrong." Hahahahahahaha! The only thing I can think of why they add those plastic backs to the filter is to help reduce noise from the engine. I have the air box pulled out of my silver machine, so it's basically an open intake with a big K&N on it, and it's amazing how much noise the air box reduced. I swear you hear my valve train as much as my exhaust with that machine. One of these nice days I'll should do a slight teardown and show how that ATV is setup. Great video my guy. Glad to see your son is out there having fun with you as well. See you next video.
I think the UnI filters will work better,I didn’t know you can spray oil in the filters. That is nice you helping people.seen like the big UA-camr they have their own group. The local auto parts sales them.I’m new Sub to your channel
Thank you , I will return favor , please leave two comment on two video or it goes away and thank you and yes I’m with ya , it runs better with the UNI filter
Hey there! I wanted to tell you that I've seen your comments on several channels and I know I have subscribed to your channel several times. But when I see your name and click on it and go to your channel it doesn't show I am a subscriber (although I know I've subbed to you several times!) I don't know what's up with that but it's happening. I specifically remember you because I have visited and worked in Arizona and love it there and everytime I see your channel name I wonder what part of AZ you live in. (I've worked in Cochise County, Sierra Vista area as well as the Tucson sector area at Three Points, on King's Ranch). Anyway, I subbed again, hopefully since ai left a comment it'll stick...LOL
Safety didn’t seem to be as important as it has become today. I find myself wearing gloves, earplugs and safety glasses more often. Haven’t heard of a unifilter until now.
Good video! How about a video where you compare a clean and oiled Honda filter VS the Uni filter? You could film a couple of accelerations and then when you cut it and se if there is a difference. Like I did on my chainsaw comparison video. Also use GPS to track top speed and acceleration if your action camera has that setting. Pease out!
@@ArizonaKid true! I have started to work again for real after a looooong Corona break and don’t have as much time as before. Going to try to publish a video once or twice a week.
Ok there is a few 250 filter numbers , google a store that sells near by and take your old one . But ya they sell filter even for the old ATC . So they do make your year and model . They go back to the 70s LOL 😂
Where did you purchase your unit filter? What kind of oil do you put on the filter? Any kind of oil or is there a specific air filter oil that you use?
Got mine at Gateway Motorsports on Power road . But you can go to UNI Filter web sight and plug in your area code and find nearest dealer or buy offline . I use UNI Filter Oil , like in this video . But you can use any filter oil , that’s states it’s for filters . Hope that helps
I might try out a UNI on my Foreman and see if I notice a difference. I've always liked UNI.
