Thanks for sharing. One thing to note, the newer 2 plug machines call for less torque...

Thank you for this video. My 2020 wouldn’t start and this solved the problem.

With all fuel injection motors, turn on key and count to 3, then crank. I was told to do this with all my EFI motors. I have no starting issues with my pioneer 700 or any others using this method. Gives a few seconds for proper ammount of fuel to be injected before starting.

I understand that. It allows the fuel pump to prime. Pioneer 700s are still notorious for hard cold starts, even when you let it prime.

Thank you for differentiating on the two plug engine vs the one plug. Part numbers are different on these.

Good info. Ive always been prepared for that first cold crank so I don't crank that long. Then hit the second time. After warm up it decent. Just the nature of the machine I'm in agreement. Also, the way you let the pump prime and the screen boot up is a good practice. Ive heard that helps with making sure the cooling fan is. Working. Like a hard boot on a computer.

Same exact issue I have with my 2017 Pioneer 700. I will give the spark plugs a try.

My honda Foreman 500 is the same way. I will have to try puting iridium plugs in it and see if it helps.

Another thing I found to help for me is putting 93 octane gas in it

I’ll have to try that, my pioneer starts hard when cold, and why doesn’t that thing have a fourth gear?

Has your oil ever had a faint gassy smell to it when doing an oil change? I cleaned my air filter and ordered new spark plugs hopefully my oil will not have that gassy smell when I change it again.

From the description: You can buy the plugs I used here (Amazon Paid Link). You need 2 of them.

Amazon insists these plugs will not fit my Honda 2020 SXS700M4. Just double checking before I buy.

Amazon doesn't know what it's talking about. You can go on the NGK website and cross reference the OEM plug and see that this is the iridium upgrade.

How did you get to the plugs? When I lift my bed it does not give acces. Are you removing all the plastic guards?

I didn't remove anything. Just have to get in there.

The access to the top plug is almost impossible for my 2017 700-4. Ready to start ripping plastic to get to the plug.

My 700 takes no less than 5-10 minutes of warm up time before it will move. It's a 2018 , 700 Pioneer. Acts like a slipping clutch of you try to go. After it's warm it's fine. It isn't that cold out now, that doesn't seem normal. Anyone else have that problem ? Thanks

    • @JackofAllMasterofNone
      @JackofAllMasterofNone  Рік тому +1

I would change the oil and make sure you use Honda GN4.

Hi, yes I already ordered the oil and filter. I only use the Honda recommended oil. Thanks for the reply. I was low on oil this time. I checked before and it was good, but I plowed with it this Winter.

I do not know if this trans/clutch is wet. If wet never use oil that has moly in it. Only motorcycle oil without moly. Moly kills wet clutches.
