First time commenting on your site. I like the narrow wheelbase because I can straddle ruts in the deer hunting Woods. There are often two tracks with deep-rutted trails but a narrower wheelbase allows me to straddle those ruts..
@@ArizonaKid Yep, understood the concept, but that's why the numbers you were looking up on your tablet didn't make sense. Manufactures rarely publish wheel track widths, but do publish wheelbase.

I have the 2020 pioneer 700-4. I am wanting to go to a 28” tire (or bigger). Do you have a lift kit on yours? I am currently running the same exact size as you.
no i do not have a lift kit - i really wanted to stay away from being to top heavy - but it does look like we have room for a 28 . please keep me posted on what u do - because if 28 works with no lift id like to do same - now if u do need a lift - ive heard god things about a few 2 in lifts
I have the same machine as you. I was thinking about putting 2 inch On .what do you think about that? Do you think I would snap a wheel stud or break anything?
I just wanted mine as wide as the 1000 pioneer , but I did put 2in on my Honda foreman and no issues as of yet . It’s all up to u and how rough u are ridding .

Outstanding question, most after market stuff is lug centric , even the delux wheels are lug centric . It’s also a utv with top speed at 43 and no wheel balancing lol 😂 so does it honestly really matter ?
@ArizonaKid I have a 2014 Pioneer 700-4. I just bought new tires, 27 ×11 R14 and the front tires are rubbing at full turn of the wheel. I was just looking to fix the issue with spacers, and don't want to get the wrong thing. Thanks for the quick response and the video. 😁👍
@@WVhillDweller oh wow u went up to 14 rims ? Ya I got spacer off of super ATV and looking at the hub u can make choice , but ya will be lug centric . Also not sure spacer gonna help 100 percent , might wanna do 2 in lift also .
@ArizonaKid I will let you know. It will probably be in a couple months from now. I keep my sxs in WV and I'm not going back till probably January. I'm over the road trucking and only get back every couple of months. But I will definitely keep you posted.

Good points and I believe everyone makes there machine work for them . So if that works for u , then that’s all that matters . Thanks for watching
We can achieve width too with rim offset. This was a great video making us think !
I bought mine for the more narrow wheel base. But, if that doesn't end up working this is good info
Good! Reminded me that I need to get this for my car!
Mine does 43 mph as a top speed. But it's a good idea with the spacers for the axles and wheels. Keep in mind your states' max width for the trails.

Thank you for sharing
Wait a minute, wheelbase is the distance between the front and back axle, not side to side.
GOT FEELING I SAID WRONG THING LOL - YOU GET THE PIONT THOUGH

Are you not putting extra pressure on your wheelbearings???
Sure 👍🏼 can look up specs and do the math and it’s less than 1% but don’t take my word for it .
One question if you don't mind why didn't you use two inch ?..I have the 2021 700 Deluxe..
Doing the math , wanted it to be same width as honda pioneer 1000 and was try n not to make to wide , so fits into RV . But you can try 2 inch
