As always a cool video Sage, I like educational videos like this from you, they are not too long have meaningful content and are fun to watch. Keep up the good work and have fun buddy. Ride on
Thanks Christoph. I realize folks have limited time, so I try to make my reviews as short and concise as possible, with lots of supporting b-roll. Hopefully it will help people make better buying decisions on the products that I use.
@@TrailSage In any case, with your videos you meet exactly the need of the people and pack it super in your videos with a lot of practical experience. Great buddy. Keep up the good work Sage
Haha, make me a mountain first... When I was in HK, we'd go mountain biking once a month. Nothing as technical as what you do, but a lot of fun... That was 12 years ago, now I'd just break all my bones.
Great review Sage. I will definitely be recommending this to a friend that I know rides. I know he uses the strips. Congratulations on riding the log, amazing!!
What an awesome review bro! Damn!!! I’ve always carried the One Up EDC tool with the plug kit. But since I already use Stans tire sealant this makes sense. This is something I could just carry in my pocket. Great job!!
Nice! Going to have to give these another try, I bought one when they first came out and had an unsuccessful fix with them, user error I am sure, but have packed the old bacons since. 🥓
Sweet, that's awesome Dino. I hope you never have to use it, but if you do, let me know how it goes. As for the gnar, yeah, there is a lot of it on Mt Penn. Check out my other videos if you enjoy seeing that stuff. Thanks for watching!
Great question Cliff, you might be able to if you were careful, but the Darts applicator was designed specifically for that. It has a very slim rod that the Darts slip onto making it easy and secure to push the Darts in. Trying to push it in with a bacon strip tool probably wont be nearly as easy (or possible). If you try it let me know how it goes.
Not sure if it is true, but rumour is that Giant sealant is rebranded Stan’s. I haven’t tested this though, I use Giant sealant on my road bike, but haven’t had a flat since buying my DART.
Stay away from this. Totally useless. Instead of actually getting into the tire, the "fabric" falls of the small plastic arrow. Tried 6 of them, did not work.

“That’s what she said” 😂 this thing looks awesome! I’m gonna need to get one when I swap my wife’s gravel bike to tubeless. Great review!
Def pick up one once you switch to tubeless Steven, but also still carry a tube as a backup. Thanks for watching!
I feel so ignorant when I watch your reviews. Thanks for educating me!!! Dude, that log!!!
I am gonna make you into a mountain biker someday ;) Thanks for watching Steph

@@SafeMotions lol! Well then you can ride vicariously through me.
That sounds safer. Except I might get heart attacks watching some of your rides in the forest.

Thanks for passing the word along Gill!

Thanks man! Yeah, you could ride with it in your pocket, but the plastic is hard so I would not want to fall on it, lol.
@@TrailSage Just have to remember not to fall on it 😂
@@ZRMTB lol!
Cool thing this Dual Action Repair for Tubeless! Didn't know about it! Really a treasure for guys doing what you're doing! Great review as always! 👏
Thanks Mihai, it has saved me a couple times. Thanks for watching as usual.
Sweet! Just placed an order (used your link)...thanks for the review! I was carrying another kit w/ bacon strips, but this does look way cleaner.
Thank you so much. Let me know what you think when you use them, although I hope you don't have to use them, lol.
Great looking dart … pretty useful and effective. … like the Ricky Gervais snippet !
It's awesome James, if that gravel bike is set up tubeless I would recommend throwing this in your pockets.
@@TrailSage it is … thanks
Great video of some awesome looking trails!!
Thanks Jason. Mt Penn has some great stuff
I bought the DART a few months ago and since then haven’t had a single issue with the tires - lol - great video tho!
Well that's a win in my book! "Buy the Dart and ward off flats" seems like that should be the slogan lol. Thanks for watching Forrest!
nice review friend on this sealant
must be very useful to bikers like you
Thanks RV, it really is
@@TrailSage you're welcome!
These have saved me a few times 🙂. Great video as awlays.
They are the best! Thanks for watching Roman.
Nice! Going to have to give these another try, I bought one when they first came out and had an unsuccessful fix with them, user error I am sure, but have packed the old bacons since. 🥓
If the bacons are working for ya no need to change. You gotta do what works right?! Thx for watching Gary!
Bro great review!! I'm sold!
Thanks Pat. Are you the same Pat AKA "Patty O" in Kris' videos?
@@TrailSage Yup thats me!! Hope to hook up and ride together soon!!
@@RadRacingMTB Right on. I subbed to your channel. Hope to run into you too
very nice review sage, it's much helpfull to bikers.
Thanks for watching Jelan!
Great review. Bought one a couple of months and in my bag waiting to be used. Don't know how you guys pick through that gnar!

Been thinking about getting this device. I do use orange sealant so I will have to do some more research before buying.
If you get one and try it with the Orange Seal let me know how it holds... I'm curious too. Thanks for watching brotha!
I'm definitely interested in this product. Hitting the link below and getting one! Thanks.
Judging by your pedal kick skills in the video you are gonna need them ;) Thanks again for all your help.
Can buy the refills and use a standard bacon strip fork to poke it in?

I hadn't heard that Bob, but thank you for the heads up. Yeah, I'm still loving the DART as well. Sage
I tried using 2 of the darts and the fabric would easily come off the tip had to use another tool to push the fabric through the hole
Ugh that sucks. I have not had that issue yet. Without the plastic tip I would be worried the fabric would pullout.
wow amazing I enjoyed the video so much 💗👍37
Happy to see u here friend wish u good luck
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching
Thats what she said 😂👌🏻
Lol, thanks for watching Ben!
Totally disagree. I've taken several Uber rides home because the Darts break off and feathers never go in.
Oh man, that sucks Jeffrey. I'm sorry you've had such a bad experience with them. So what do you use instead?
Stay away from this. Totally useless. Instead of actually getting into the tire, the "fabric" falls of the small plastic arrow. Tried 6 of them, did not work.
Ugh that sucks Lars. I've never heard of that happening, let a lone 6 times! What did you end up plugging the tire with?
