We’ve had so many situations both known and classified that could have easily cast us over the edge of nuclear war, but something always keeps us away from that edge.
Indeed. One that comes to mind was during the Cold War. Long story short, aboard a Soviet sub loaded with nuclear weapons, the captain (obviously) wrongly believed war had broken out between the US and the Soviet Union. He in turn wanted to attack the US with their nuclear weapons they had. To do so, the three highest ranking officials aboard had to provide authorization. The only reason the weapons never launched was because, of the three, only one official held out--Vasily Arkhipov. Even American government officials have credited him as certainly preventing World War III and multiple nuclear attacks from both sides. This was such a serious moment it was even described as being "the most dangerous moment in human history". That man actually "only" died in just 1998, at that.
😅At the battle of Armageddon when all nations go to war against Israel, God may permit some nuclear weapons to be used Especially by Israel they have something called the Samson option when Samson brought the whole house down on everyone But God will stop the war and Jesus Christ (his second coming). The Day After is an amazing movie. The scene where they show people running through the streets in Kansas City is a scary scene. Also, the attack sequence was very well-made.
I'm only a few seconds into this, but since it's based off of one of my favorite movies (which.... is something me and my therapist probably need to talk about), it's getting an upvote.
Anybody else feel like a scenario like this is going to happen for real sooner than later? The question is who is going to start it, and what event is going to be the tipping point where the dominoes start to fall?
Already happening, and started a long time ago. Things that certainly helped it along were the EU's efforts to economically destroy Russia via sanctions / SWIFT embargoes, etc. (there were many discussions on how Russia would be conveniently broken up into "manageable" statelets), Vicki Nuland and the State Department's blatant coup in Ukraine (remember "Nat's our man?"), and the subsequent attacks on the mainly Russian-speaking people in Lugansk and the Donbass, which has led the West to where we are in the Ukraine quagmire. Add in those very provocative "Freedom of Navigation" exercises by the US in the entirely Chinese Taiwan Straits (definitely Chinese territory - and the US even recognises this on its Foreign Affairs web-pages), apart from the fact that FoN only applies to Commercial, NOT military vessels. So, the US has been very keen to stoke the current problems in the EU (and by cutting the supply of Russian LNG, making a killing by selling US LNG for FOUR times the price of the Russian product), and is equally proactive in stirring things up in what is after all China's back yard. Russia and China are beyond-peer adversaries (Russia has far better military capability, China is the World's largest manufacturing Country), and both enjoy the "home" advantage where logistics is concerned. Be very aware that the US SecDef, Lloyd Austin, mentioned in March this year that the US "will be at war with China by 2025", which is 14 months away. So, unless the West Hierarchy start to behave like adults, and show clear willingness to de-escalate and accept Russia AND China's terms, yes, we are really heading this way, especially since the West currently seems keen on escalation against Countries that both possess absolute escalatory dominance.

Because if these people really are concerned about OUR borders, then they should be wanting around a border around the entire 48 contiguous states, as well as a border around Alaska and Hawaii. But no one ever says that, because reasons lol.
What was that outro sound?
What about the UK?
The only issue with this video is you violated FCC regulations by reproducing a real EBS tone. They COULD serve you a NAL. Doesn’t matter if it’s UA-cam or not. But movie companies were fined hundreds of thousands for the sound even being in the background.
youtubers been getting away with valid eas tones since like 2017 no one been sued
@@secondjyncster They went after several movie studios a few years ago for the sound of an actual one in the background in a bar scene. I think the NAL was around $100K.
@@desertengineer1 those are movie studios, supermassive corpos. they care because they wanna put stuff on TV's and theaters. i don't think they mind if some guy from like colorado or something puts it in a youtube video
@@secondjyncster Meh. They gutted FCC enforcement so much these past few years, the only people they are going after are the pirate radio stations - because of the political pressure by the music industry not getting their royalties, and radio stations that don't fill out their logs correctly. Never mind the churches letting candidates give political speeches from the pulpits, or televangelists spouting political speeches during sermons, which is supposed to revoke your tax exempt status on the spot.
I do miss the pirate radio days though. A couple were served NAL's this year amounting to over a million $ each. Like some dude playing music in a trailer park is going to be able to pay that?
@@secondjyncster LOL. This just announced today!
