    Thanks, I'm looking into this to improve my oral health. You can even buy an ozone machine for about $60 with a tube that allows you to ozonate your own water/oil of choice. I know ozone stays in water for about 2 minutes, I imagine that it stays in oil longer, but I'm not sure how much longer.

      I've read about, that oil will hold it for 10-20 years.

    Awesome! Will it kill the good bacteria too though? I hope not. Great video.

      Great question and a very important one too! Yes, oil pulling doesn't target specific bacteria so this is why some industry experts warn against it.

    So the ozonated oil kills the bacteria in the cavity, does it stop and arrest the decay ? In other words, after the ozone treatment, can the dentist just fill the cavity without drilling anything out ?

      Oh sure! I’m an example of that. In a sense, I am a multiple source human, or perhaps even more. My dental specialist inserted ‘cadaver bone’ filler into the natural but problematic space beneath a back tooth. The theory is, your body assimilates this and then grows more bone around and throughout the area with the cadaver bone. Brilliant, hmm?
      Ok, why our bodies don’t reject somebody else’s dna laden bone material is beyond me. Also, reanimating some dead persons bone tissue inside my mouth, or WHEREVER, provokes thoughts of Frankenstein monster, does it not? Hmmmm, ahahaha…. Nervous laughter. I mean what if the ‘cadaver’ was an ax wielding homicidal maniac with a long list of creating cadavers much the same as its own? What if? Am I picking up a small part of that sociopathic personality?
      It’s something I have wondered about. My dental procedure was in 1989, and, well, so far so good. I’ve only used an ax for making firewood since then. Buuut, tomorrow is another day.
      If you don’t hear back from me, don’t take it personal, ok? 😀

    how do you protect your lungs from the effects of ozone while gargling?

    • @behappynsmileRDH
      @behappynsmileRDH 10 місяців тому

      Great question!! Side effects are rare with dental ozone therapy. If you’re concerned about side effects, talk to your dentist. I recommend not to gargle with ozonated mouth rinse. Try swishing instead. In the gas form, ozone is an unstable molecule that can cause damage to the lungs when inhaled. When ozone is dissolved in water, the water becomes ozonated and is believed to have some therapeutic effects. Most studies evaluated the effects of ozone gas rather than the effects of ozonated water. Currently, there does not appear to be any research linking respiratory symptoms or low birth weights to ozonated water/mouth rinses.

    Can you also apply it to your skin and will it even have any benefits if you do?

      Well we definitely aren’t experts in skin care but the coconut oil has many benefits when applied to the skin and hair. Ozonated- we aren’t completely sure

      While my uncle was going through chemotherapy his hands became very sensitive. The only thing that brought relief was ozonated coconut oil.

    00:33 Just FYI. The molecule you show here is not a water molecule (2 hydrogen atoms + one oxygen atom); it's an oxygen molecule (2 oxygen atoms).

    How do you ozone the oil

    • @behappynsmileRDH
      @behappynsmileRDH Рік тому

      The company has a particular machine that mixes the oxygen with the oils. The bottle is then sealed to preserve the ozonated oil's integrity. Once it is open, there is an expiration.
