      Coconut oil or sunflower oil as coconut changes texture under 70 degrees; so instead of melting it you use the sunflower and swap it based on the temperature.

    I have been doing oil pulling on and off, sometimes i do it for months straight sometimes i take a few weeks off. Observations: Whiter teeth ( nothing major), no bad breath, no acne on the face and smoother skin. My throat also tends to get cleared up whenever i do oil pulling for a week straight. The results are there but i am just lazy so i do it whenever im free

    I started oil pulling about 6 months ago. I was a chronic cougher and always stuffed up. Everyone told me stop eating dairy. I stopped, but the coughing continued. Almost immediately after I started oil pulling, I stopped coughing. I noticed I wanted to cough more out of habit then really having to cough. Oil pulling really helped me.

      Karen Adkisson Hey, check if you don't have helicobacter (it can cause this 'cough for no reason' stuff, been there). If it's left untreated, it can go nasty (ulcer, cancer etc.), but if the result is positive, you can actually treat it with antibiotics.

    Added best tip: use only unrefined organic coconut oil. Just use little, no need to warm up, your mouth will. With very bad teeth and gums just opi pull 5 minutes and spit into trash bag, repeat 3 or 4 times. Once teeth and gums get better you get use a little larger amount for 15-20 minutes once a day. I like the 3 days on, one day off he mentioned.
    Go on a vegan GMO free mostly organic plant diet. Get in the sun, no sunscreen and take once a month B12. If you eat lots of dark leafy green veggies you do not need K2. You do need Vegan D3 every day you did not get 20 minutes sun exposure. I see it on my teeth!
    Hope this helps.

    everywhere i see, people use coconut oil. i am not saying it is not good, but this oil pulling technique is an ayurvedic practice. it used to be done with sesame oil, because it has calcium. and we all know teeth requires calcium. So if you have access to some sesame oil, use that.

    • @Irishcloth
      @Irishcloth 6 років тому +3

      Oooh, I hadn't heard of that before. Unless of course you have even a mild allergy to sesame, which most westerns do. My brother has it worse than me where he must take lysine after eating even the smallest amount. I think coconut... even though its a nut, I don't think it actually is technically. I just looked it up and I guess coconut allergies are extremely rare. Just a thought :)

    • @MP-er6wn
      @MP-er6wn 5 років тому +4

      Coconut is a natural fruit with many health benefits as we know, however the most important thing to remember is coconut oil should ALWAYS be COLD PRESSED and for who don’t know it’s when there’s no use of 🔥to extract the oil just natural heat. Meaning the coconut should never be heated on a stove etc.. to extract the oil. That oil will hurt your body (Source: Dr. Sebi world renowned Herbalist who’ve cured all diseases and proved it in NY Supreme Court). Sealing and placing the coconut milk it in a warm spot for the oil to natural separate is how it should be done.
      No shade but I’ve seen SOME for the Ayurvedic practice use the method of “cooking” for extracting the oil (via UA-cam) however, their heart was in the right place maybe they just didn’t know better. Just stressing it’s very important not to extract it with fire.
      Also, Thank you for sharing with the Sesame Oil. Sesame seeds are also rich in iron. I am looking forward to trying this method in addition to the coconut oil. Who knows knowing me eventually I’ll mix the 2😆

    Thanks!
    I wasn't to the dentist for 10 years and seriously neglected my mouth for the most-part. I had a year of amphetamine abuse and always had a sweet tooth. My teeth are fucked, right? Well, I had cracked my two upper wisdom teeth due to neglect and clenching from tmj disorder, so I had to see a dentist. I had been oil pulling for 3 months, twice a day, brushing twice a day with non-flouride toothpaste.
    The diagnosis? I had to get two teeth removed. The two I cracked. The rest were in perfect health!

    My wife was doing this 3 years ago and stopped. Back then I thought it was hoaky. Then I watched a couple of videos and tried it myself. Through the winter I did it every morning that I felt crud in my mouth. There were numerous colds and flu bugs going around and Thank The Lord, I did not come down with any of them. The other change that I have made is to drink 2-3 cups of green tea per day sweetened with local honey. My bee keeper is the SAME person who taught "Burt's Bees" to be a bee keeper. I have peridontal disease or gingivitis (bleeding gums) - some pockets are about 5 or 8 and others 2/3 (use to be a smoker - 4 years stopped!). Since oil pulling with one drop of oregano oil in a small container & organic coconut oil, which I heat up in the morning sitting in a small amount of boiling tap water in the bathroom sink in a small china container. I have my breakfast, then get a mouthful of oil and leave in my mouth while I shower etc. then spit out in sink while I run the hot water so it doesn't clog up the drain, then I clean my teeth again with one drop of oregano oil on electric brush and flouride free toothpaste, then if time I use the water pick which has some 3% hydrogen peroxide (dessert spoon) and the rest water in the tube. Have been doing this for 2 months now and have noticed a remarkable difference in the colour of the enamel which is whiter, better breath and the oil in the mouth apparently is beneficial as it leeches into your body from the mouth area and improves your skin. Since being back at the dental hygenist recently she has commented on how clean my teeth look, there as been NO bleeding when I clean and overall my mouth looks and feels a lot better. I haven't mentioned to her about the oil pulling as she was trying to get me to see a Periodontist because of my gums, but now I may not have to! Ya

    Oil pulling with coconut oil works it reduced the swelling in my gums to zero and stopped my gums from bleeding. The pain I had in my gums totally went away but here is the negative part and just goes to show how powerful oil pulling is. I started to swallow a teaspoon of the coconut oil and I noticed my skin improved and I receive comments on the condition of my skin but I also take medication for an illness I have and because of eating the oil it started to clean my blood removing the medications and toxics from my body which damn near caused me to go to the hospital. My point is if you are on medications be very careful because oil pulling and drinking the oil will remove all medications and poisons from the body.

    Guess what I am doing. Eating beef jerky. After 1 month of oil pulling I can eat beef jerky without getting really bad pain under my molars for 2 to 3 days straight. There is still one tooth that I can feel a little discomfort in. But over all my teeth are much healthier. I oil pulled with organic Coconut oil. I flossed at least in the morning if I forgot to the night before. I brushed my teeth with baking soda instead of tooth paste and I ate leafy greens. Those are the changes I've made and my teeth are much stronger after only one month. I used to feel anxiety when I thought about my teeth. I feel better about my teeth with the things I am doing now.

    When you first start oil pulling, you do it every single morning for about 2 to 3 months. After that you can cut it down to every 3 days for about a month or two then you can do it once a week. That's what I've read. I used to oil pull a couple years ago. Then I stopped completely. I just started oil pulling again recently and will stick with it every day for a few months then only about twice a week.

  • @djmaleda

    Hello. I may have missed it but what oil did you use for the pulling?
    I would also like to share my experience if i may. I have been using coconut oil on and off for about 6 months, due to its anti bacterial/microbial properties. Its better to do it first thing in the morning before brushing for 15 - 20 mins max, without swallowing. Any longer would mean reabsorbing toxins back into the gums. It is also important to dispose of the oil in a bin, as it can clog the sink. Sometimes, after pulling, I brush then, gargle and rinse with bi carbonate of soda mixed in water. This helps to alkaline the mouth, and delay bacterial growth. Happy pulling!!!

      +amber kashif Yes it does. I started four days ago, my eczema has been pretty bad for the last three months, and over the last 48 hours of oil pulling i've noticed that my eczema is almost completely gone. It also helps if you have a broken tooth and cannot afford to go to the dentist to have it removed, oil pulling appears to keep any gaps clean.

    I used to drink tons of tea and some coffee too. I switched to decaf and haven't looked back. Yorkshire Decaf is my favourite, but I also like Roobios Vanilla and Earl Grey teas too. You'll get a headache for a few days and feel tired more for the first week or so, but that will pass and my sleep patterns have massively improved. When I was drinking tea I'd go to bed by 1am and wouldn't typically get to sleep until 3am which was ok at the time because I only had a part time job in the evenings, but when I became self employed and had to get up at 5am each morning I had to take the plunge. Try it, but I would recommend stepping down rather than just cutting it all out straight away.

      Yes. Stay away from the dentist to save your teeth! They are trained to do carpentry on teeth when bruised teeth can heal. I know before I did it for me and my family. I can not get back what the dentist took from me years ago. I went for a check up and was told I have cavities; allowed the drill and fill which led to a root camel and crown. Later when my fillings wore off, I was told i needed crowns. I refused and now found a natural way to heal my teeth. My teeth have never been more healthy.

Just keep chewing on them. That will help the abscessed go down and diminish the pain. I did this once and it completely cleared up. Then got to my dentist. Absolutely get to your dentist, even if the cashews clear everything.

      Fluoride doesn't break the enamel, that's a myth. Quite the opposite, actually. It IS toxic, tho, therefore it should be used sparingly and with precaution, not put in everything, it's fine in toothpastes in small concentration (always check how much there is in the paste) and if you are careful not to swallow, but should be avoided in other products, especially not in water and probably not in mouthwash, since by using that you can inhale small particles of it. On the other hand, same goes for oil pulling. You can actually get respiratory issues due to constantly inadvertently inhaling oil while oil pulling.
      It's fine and it helps with hygiene, but you gotta be careful and it's safer not doing it daily.

      Yes. I think so. So in short, tonsil stones are calcified :stuff: but have a lot of bacteria in them. Since coco soil removes bacteria, I think you would be reducing them dramatically. Drinking more water helps too since they thrive in dry, warm environments. Alllllso, cutting out dairy and washing your mouth with salt water. If you did all those things, I can bet you'd no longer have them. Ive just about gotten rid of mine and they used to be pretty prevalent
