Thanks for sharing such a detailed breakdown of the framing process. It's helpful to see the engineering behind these buildings!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for staying alert to our channel
In the next video can you talk about the slab and how the plumbling pipes were coordinated between the plumbers & concrete guys? Thanks,
Great Idea. We can add this into our video our ideas. Typically our site department coordinates this. This is done after we have done site prep and prior to concrete. Stay tunned for this video (:
What’s the wind rating for red iron buildings?
This is a great idea for a video. We'll begin working on this.
Short answer: Weld Ups do not have a wind rating. Bolt Up buildings can be engineered to any wind load based in area. When a building is engineered it needs to be inspected afterwards to verify it was built according to plans.
Hey what about garage doors and that?
Customer outsourced these! This is very standard when they are using it as a barndo.
We allow this as long as they are on site at the time of installation
Wish you were more honest on “customer outsource this and that”. As someone with steel erection experience all over US for fracking.
It could be tuffshed, superior, Armstrong steel, American steel, etc..
Garage doors are sold separately and not in their contracts for insurance reasons.
Not hating on the game, not sure if your an actual general contractor that bids for jobs or just a 3rd party crew that erects for tuffshed etc. either way keep on stacking the bread.
Generally speaking, when it just crew doing shells, (steel erection) their just an erection crew selling themselves as the superior GC on site.
Thanks for the feedback!
Check out our page to learn a bit more on WolfSteel! We are a general contractor that handles the dirt, concrete, permitting, building, design plans, door, etc. We actually provide custom overhead doors and roll up doors which we can and do provide information to customers. They are included in our contracts for that reason.
Main reason we don't state where they come from is we do not determine where or what our clients outsource. We typically do get all specs to make sure everything fit accordingly. If we haven't seen or looked into a brand we would hate to promote it without facts.
I do understand where the confusion comes from and I do hope this answers any questions!
