I find this format of video showing the owners more entertaining than the super yachts you treat us to. So satisfying all your subscribers, clever Nick. Thank you for sharing.
One of my favorites videos are the "owners series" you get a glimpse of the philosophy behind the actions of the sea lovers... Always a treat your videos! Thanks nick
Another great 'Meet the owner' video. Like the previous comment, I think these are one of your best formats Nick, as it's 'real world' boating of how the boat is used, modifications/improvements and what adventures can be had. A pleasure to bump into you and say hello in Topsham last weekend Nick. Keep up the good work.
Thank you. By far the interviews are always excellent and the kindest people who ❤ their vessels too! This was great. A well cared after boat indeed, especially for the age. 🍷
Love the name Easily Distracted. I think most sailors get distracted, the sea does that. She is a great family boat the cockpit is great for that. Her cabins look old fashioned but who cares they look comfortable love the shower head propeller. Simon is a clever owner doing what needs to be done to keep the E.D. shipworthy. And how to handle the boat to the best of the best of E.D. abilities. Great boat, great owner, good video Nick. Hope Simon and his family enjoy many more trips and holidays on her.
Well Simon has the right philosophy on life. A 3 month exploration of the beautiful south west coast can't be Beaten. Superb 20 Yr old Targa.. Loved the novel shower head and infil.. I always perk up when you do "meet the owner" Nick. Cheers🍺😊
Nice boat, nice owner…looks like it’s lots of Fun to cruise or just rest at anchor. Wishing you many more wonderful adventures Simon Thanks for the tour Nick
That propeller shower head was a nice customization - I can imagine having good water pressure is a real luxury out on the water. Also I just love little things like the clever concealment/storage of the infill cushion in the aft cabin. Like Nick said, it's little nifty ideas like that that Fairline traditionally do so well (from what I can tell from all the tours I've seen) - practical solutions to problems that one doesn't often think about, but are still important nonetheless. This one was such a nice balance between accommodation and sportiness, looks a blast.
Don't buy the shower head. It's a scam made popular by TikTok. Just take a second and think about it critically. How exactly would that propeller help to increase the pressure? It doesn't have a motor in it or anything that could add extra force or pressure. The only reason why it spins is because of the water that's already flowing over it, which means that if anything it's reducing the amount of energy not increasing it because it takes some small amount of energy to make the propeller spin. The whole thing is just a trick. They're pretending that it's the propeller that's increasing the pressure when in reality the shower head is increasing the pressure because the holes in the nozzle are slightly smaller than on some other standard nozzles. Imagine if you tried to push the same amount of water through just one single tiny little hole. The pressure coming out of that one tiny whole would be much larger then if you pushed the same amount of water through a large number of large holes. That's all that's going on here. It has absolutely nothing to do with the propeller. In fact the propeller is just an attention grabbing gimmick that only serves the purpose of tricking people into thinking that something sophisticated is going on when in reality the only thing the propeller in doing is contributing to a decrease in the amount of pressure. The whole thing is like a stage magician who is tricking people into thinking that he had 10 rabbits inside of a hat when in reality they where just hidden under the table. They're tricking people into thinking that it's the magic spinning thing that's increasing the pressure when in reality it's just the nozzle, and you can buy much better nozzles for less money that produce higher pressure without spinning gimmicks that don't do anything good.
The most interesting question for me in the meet the owner series is ‘how do you fund it?’ . But I guess not everyone wants to talk about that. Another great video Nick, thanks 🙏
Another great Meet the Owner, thank you ! As a " near mid 50's aged person myself" I love his outlook on life and agree with you on how priorities change through the decades. Good tip with the shower head, I've made note of that 👍
It's always great to hear people talk about their boats, why they bought them, and how they use them. Thanks Nick. Can I suggest a second microphone for the next one, so we don't miss anything?
I love it also when you talk to the owners! People that you may have an idea that they could be a little “stuck up” are always the most humble genuine souls on the planet! And this is a sweet little boat!
That's partly why I do these Meet The Owner videos. Most boat owners are normal down to earth people who happen to have been successful professionally.
Love the meet the owners videos get to see real life boating i love the superyachts you do and just watched your walk videos again but cant beet a bit real life boating another great boat video from the legend that is Mr Burnham 👍
I was lucky enough to be invited to join Simon for a week of his adventure and we made it to the west of Lands End. He’s a great guy with a lovely boat. And as you can probably see, he looks after it very well!!
Very nice cruiser and Simon has done a great job fixing her up. Cockpit really nicely done. The shower that is the 1st time I've seen a propeller shower head. And the 3 step design getting in and out is smart idea. Those cat engines were so clean as well as the engine room. Also a fast boat.
Lovely boat and a cracking bloke at the helm, I hope he has many many more fun times aboard. Nice one Nick, I do like the "meet the owner" videos.👍🏴
Nice video guys cool boat, great adventure he's having. that shower head is geniusly simple enjoyed this one particularly Nick to see the Dart again calm sparkling water and summer sunshine 😎
Love these meet the owner videos nick and also you make a good selection for all people in all price ranges on your Chanel high point of my you tube year was finding your Chanel 😊
No matter the size, it's warming to hear from owner operators who diligently care for and enjoy time on-board. Nick, what you say you'll edit out, you don't edit out, therefore I must conclude, what you edit out must be very interesting indeed. Perhaps a blooper reel or two might be on the near horizon? Simon, Nick, have a wonderful weekend.
Another great meet the owner, Nick. What a laid back owner, Fairline's really stand the test of time don't they....you would never guess its 22 years old. So he dropped into Noss did he? Right next to that Fleming which I lust after every tome we visit your marina!!
Great video, made even better when you've got the same boat! Some nice upgrades there, might copy the steps one day. The original top step is slightly higher than the cockpit floor and is pointless.
I have a 2006 Princess V42 with outdrives and a stern thruster, as mentioned in this video the stern thruster docent work very well as it is positioned between the stern drives, a little tip I have found when docking, if you raise the outdrives around 50% the stern thruster works much better as this gives enough clearance for the thruster to push the water under the outdrives.
Hey Nick. I bought a cranchi 41 endurance. You did vlog on it a few years back called Zanzara. I shipped it up to loch Lomond, where it stays on a 5 star marina. If you fancy a tour of the loch let me know..
Very nice boat, good condition. I think you should put a microphone on the owner , he's a very low speaker (there have been others). If they turn slightly then their voices drop down, whilst you'res is still the same. 😊
"Meet the owner" videos are really interesting. This gentleman speaks somewhat softly, and I couldn't get everything. Is it technically possible to mic your guest? Just a suggestion.

I love your owners series. It's more personal than a tour only. Great video, Nick. 🇦🇺😀
I"m glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
Nice video Nuck. I love the boat. I like seeing people actually using the boat. THANK YOU
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂

as a plumber I've seen a lot of those shower heads and can 100% say they do nothing for increasing water pressure at all

What value is there in that for anyone? They have money to fund it. The how are why are irrelevant.
Another great Meet the Owner, thank you ! As a " near mid 50's aged person myself" I love his outlook on life and agree with you on how priorities change through the decades. Good tip with the shower head, I've made note of that 👍
Our pleasure!
Live these from you nick gives good insight to real world boating
I'm glad that you enjoy them 🙂
Yes, prime time viewing for tonight! Cheers Nick
Enjoy!
It's morning here in Seattle!
It's always great to hear people talk about their boats, why they bought them, and how they use them. Thanks Nick. Can I suggest a second microphone for the next one, so we don't miss anything?

Fantastic!
We had a Sealine S37 with a very similar set up, although never had time for a trip like that!
Enjoyable vlog Nick, thank you.
I"m glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
Boat I've been looking at recently. Nice to hear real life experiences of the owner.
It's a great boat!

Another great boat to look at, thank you Nick 👍

Search for 'AQUAHOLIC bloopers' and enjoy! 😄
Excellent video Nick 🚤🛥⛵️👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Thanks!! 👍
Another great meet the owner, Nick.
What a laid back owner,
Fairline's really stand the test of time don't they....you would never guess its 22 years old.
So he dropped into Noss did he?
Right next to that Fleming which I lust after every tome we visit your marina!!
Yes indeed! (On all counts)
Muy bonito. Gracias!!❤❤❤
Living the dream!
Hi Nick great vlog that boat would suit you wat a lovely boat I know you like yours the bee's knees 👍
Nice vid. One thing that surprises me though , is that very few gets a fishing rod out , and reel in a cod or bass for tea. Thats what i'd do anyway 😁
Good heavens no! Blood and guts on our beautiful boats..!? 😲
I noted it's a beer fridge. Not a snooty wine cooler. 😊
Great video, made even better when you've got the same boat! Some nice upgrades there, might copy the steps one day. The original top step is slightly higher than the cockpit floor and is pointless.
Nice boat! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
My dream boat! Or the 43
The best Boat ever 👌

That makes sense, but doesn't it reduce the effectiveness of the engines in ahead/astern?
@@AQUAHOLIC yes it does slightly in astern but I have found its not enough of a loss to affect docking
@@LeeWaldron-o1p Interesting, thanks
Nice practical boat👍
Hey Nick. I bought a cranchi 41 endurance. You did vlog on it a few years back called Zanzara. I shipped it up to loch Lomond, where it stays on a 5 star marina. If you fancy a tour of the loch let me know..
Awesome, great boat! 😃

Great efforts, please add another mic hanging in the guest shirts, in my opinion will keep the sound loud and clear❤
Still ..it's living the dream .. I envy him 😂👍🏴
"Meet the owner" videos are really interesting. This gentleman speaks somewhat softly, and I couldn't get everything. Is it technically possible to mic your guest? Just a suggestion.
Absolutely my favorite, in my dreams, if I could afford it... however it is affordable somehow
Great video but the sound was very low
New dream to manifest ~ have Nick show off my boat 1 day! 😅😂
Yes!! 😄
Very cool
Great video. When was this filmed 😂
Back in the summer, August maybe?
Love your videos Nick, but when you have a third party speaking it’s best they have a remote mic of some sorts as he was difficult to hear at times
1:28 er sagt wahrhaftig zweimal Paddelboot 😂👍
Iare you up river on the River Dart ?
This was filmed on the River Dart, yes.
Great job sir. Wonderful video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
👍🏻 😊
How much 😊
It's not for sale
Cool
Aha! This is my boaty neighbour!
Beautiful boat!
Did he just say 3 months off-life or three months of life 😊
Isn't it??)))
👍👋🇳🇿🍻
Nice
Very hard to hear the owner, gave up listening in the end, sorry😮
394th! :)
YES!! 🙌 🥳
Please put a microphone on the guests. They’re so indistinct a lot of the time, it spoils the whole piece 😢
like for buying an apartment, when the owner stays, it is always painfull. I really do not enjoy those series.
