DD is horrible. The worst food delivery service I have had the misfortune of using. No CS - in fact they just hang up on you if you don't immediately acquiesce to their BS excuses. You'll never receive a refund when they fail and they accept no liability for what their drivers do. I won't ever give em another buck and I did file a BBB complaint as did 16K others. Not much but not silent. On tipping ---- for sit down it's 15 to 25 %, I'm in NYS so it's double or triple the tax. For delivery it's 10% --- 95% of the time. Then their are inflated premium costs, delivery fees, service fees, general state taxes, and at times others. Uber eats blows away DD and I receive 40% promos about 6 times a year for 3 uses each - which means I pay for my food period.
Question? If I don't wanna accept do I just let the time run down ? And will I get a next one right after if I I ignore and have to wait again I'm new to the dashing sorry if it sounds dumb lmao

You know dang well if you deny EVERY NONE tip order your acceptance rate will be so low the app start messing with you. Or kicks you off. We know ; Acceptance rate don’t matter if you keep EVERYTHING else up. But are you not ruining the completion rate just as frequently? You can’t genuinely decline more the 5 orders in one day. And not to mention how when you don’t have top dasher , sometimes they “ have no slots “ in your area for a whole day . Unless you dash from midnight to 4am. Some ppl give cash tip but you literally never know. You can get paid by time if you have schedule and there no slots. It’s get way trickier then you portray 😂 you can’t eat every none tip order. You completion rate goes down way fast than up. Wouldn’t say you have to just be pissed sometimes but you gotta rigorously balance out what to do if you don’t like an order .

Doing multi app delivery is a waste of time and more hassle for you. You get just about the same earnings per day if not more just using doordash. Just need to know consistent areas to dash. You can make $2100 per week with dashing. Can Uber eats do that? Dont think so bro.

I laugh - If I order what would be $100 of product AT the store utilizing weekly adds and coupons the reality with these services is that 100 turns into 140 ( no sales pricing, no coupons, inflated premium costs ). Now add taxes at 8%, delivery fees - 3 to $5, Service fees 3 to $8, ( at times bagging and weight fees ), then a tip ( expect you to tip on total - product, fees, all of it ). My $100 order just tuned into &140 to $160 before tip. Then there's the complaint that the $10 tip for driving a mile or 2 is unsatisfactory. Sorry - I'm not responsible for shitty company policies. DD sucks, Grubhubs not much better and Uber is worth it when I receive a 40% discount ( which means I pay for online menu item cost and maybe a cpl bucks towards the tip. Keep in mind the $50 menu item is actually $43 at the shop. I have a pizza joint across the street I could hit with a 7 iron - they want 6.50 for delivery and the driver is lucky to get a buck and has to use their car, gas and such.
