Hey Alfred, if you plan on doing Lauderdale more than once I can give you some excellent locations. Born and raised there grew up on boats long before we were old enough to drive. Bullshit no crocks in Lauderdale. Sharks a plenty no crocks. We get some alligators in the back canals. Your Black point crock was the coolest!!

You are at a very significant site in Fort Lauderdale. As you leave the dock stop by and read the story of this park. There is a plaque on the right side as you leave. Make Fred's the gator look like a puppy. Colee Hammock Park . Make sure you return on 4th of July.
I believe the boat under tow by Cape Ann is a Jersey Built Ocean Yacht ! Really nice boat with Ocean Yacht went out of business in 2009. Looks like Ocean 1 had a hard life. ☹️

I went to the Fort Lauderdale boat show every year growing up we even had a booth there for my mother's business. No more sailboats in the boat show. Only power boats and the show has changed it really sucks. Lots of hookers. Some nice powerboats. No entertainment horrible food. When the sailboats were there they had Dom Perignon tents. Every restaurant in town had a booth there as well as wonderful Street vendors with tons of stone crab, raw bar and tons of fantastic jewelers and watch makers as well and live music. It was fabulous. Totally tacky now and the hookers are so prevalent you just can't feel comfortable as a regular girl. They were literally walking around and sheer full-length nightgowns with nothing underneath.🤭
