One of the bearing cups started moving in the shock eyelt after only 2 months of riding my new bike. I took it all apart, cleaned everything and reassembled it. It was creak and play free for about three rides and then it was back:( Is there any way to fix this permantly?
@@Patrikrumin Weird. I suspected the Kashima in the eyelets of other shocks was causing the cups to slip out, but your X2 has anodized aluminum eyelets. I wonder if the eyelets are a different size. My DVO Topaz has been creak-free with the bearings for months now.
Thanks for the vid! Do you know if a metric sized m13 screw would also fit? Its hard to find the 1/2 28 bolt in germany, do you might have any link to the used screws? Thanks in advice!
Thank you for this video. This problem has been driving me nuts.
Awesome video Man!
This is a fantastic video man. Very well explained
Very interesting video, thanks for sharing it!
thanks for the video! is it possible that it creaks when brand new? did I do something wrong?
Yes
Any reason you shouldn't use a tap to more easily chase the threads rather than using the bolts?
