5:10 - You forgot a few small details regarding steal. Units with the steal skill are able to give their money to other player-controlled units. They have no option but to give all their money, but if the unit reaches its gold cap of 50k, they will keep their excess money. This also grants the unit giving the gold 10 experience, and I do believe this experience is doubled to 20 if the unit has Paragon. 6:36 - It’s fascinating how you can still learn new things about a Fire Emblem game after so many years, I had NO idea this was the case. Though to be frank, the amount of enemies you encounter with either the charge or ambush skill can probably be counted on one hand, so you very rarely get to see these skills interact with each other.
That's more a class ability of thieves (hence why units with the Thief Sword/Ring can't donate) plus I hadn't covered how money really works, so I intentionally left that out.
In my Fe4 PME LP, the Thief skill was given to all Brigands and Pirates, and some of the playable characters are Brigands/Pirates, and they can give money. This means the donation aspect must be tied to the Thief skill, not the class. I think the case is that the Bargain Ring/Thief Sword provide a different skill that excludes the donation aspect, but I get why you left it out.
Your content is very in depth & impressive - I would not mind waiting longer between uploads if it meant higher quality. That being said, I still enjoyed this presentation a lot!
This is really great, I learned a lot from this! Also, I liked how you used thematic music for each of the skills, like having an Ace Attorney Pursuit theme play during the section where you talked about Pursuit.
To be fair, the only way I realised that the queen had the class skill charisma is through Mang's FE4 Pick My Edit playthrough where Sylvia was a queen and she had that skill as a class skill.
Fun fact about the Bargain skill, it actually has a "incarnation" of sorts although not in the same way as some of the other skills. The Silver Card in 7 (you have to use a Mario Kart Double Dash bonus disk and a GBA to GC wire), 8 (I believe you have to steal it from an enemy boss but I can't remember) and RD (Aimee gives it Soren but it ONLY lasts during the time you're in the base and disappears after you leave), and the card in 7 and 8 can be used by any unit, RD's version is auto so no one needs to hold onto it when going into the armory or shop. Just thought I'd point that out for ya. Cheers! :)
Yeah I'll admit that conversation was amusing and slightly shocking on Soren's part cause he actually complemented someone, something thats rather OOC for him. I've played PoR and RD a lot and never really liked his attitude towards anyone not named Ike although given his backstory its understandable but he really doesn't need to be a major ass towards everyone, that being said though he is a great unit though I tend to alternate between him and Illyana (I never use Tormod, Calill or Bastion cause Tormod comes in a little too late to be trainable thought it is possible, Calill despite what MageKnight404 says is not all that great especially since she wields knives and not staves like a proper sage should since magic users don't have any strength to begin with and Bastion is in the same boat as Calill for wielding knives and not staves). Sorry for the rant bit of a bad habit of mine and this isn't even a PoR/RD video anyways. Cheers! :)
Well, MK 404 isn't the Best FE player out there. He's good at what he plays, he's knowledgeable, and quite set on his strange/backwater opinions, and he's an all around a good guy when not pissed off by nothing. (Looks at Reclass Video) All in all I'd say use whoever you like. And I disagree, Mr. Omega. Aside from the Rolf/Shinon base convo in Radiant Dawn's 3-Endgame, I'd say that the greatest bit of writing comes from Shadow Dragon's Recruitment conversations and minor dialogue. There's also the expensive as hell Path of Radiance Nintendo Power guide.
It's sad you never finished this guide. Your fe5 guide really helped and I'm sure this guide would've been just as helpful. Seeing this unfinished guide kinda makes me want to do one myself
The only way to freeze the game with a negative % activation on continue is to have a Leif with a broken sword and 8 or 9 speed. At least he doesn't suck ass in this game.
LOVE IT. Some of these skills are so cryptic I have no clue how they work sometimes. I always thought it was an HP X 10 avoid upon prayer activation. Wow. Also, do you think in your inheritance video do you think you can go over arden's usefulness as a father? (Same With Claude on physical units)
Oh, ok. Really though, even with the Valkyrie staff gone forever in the supply, Lester benefits more from the Res growth and mana getting the rescue staff than anything else. It's like an extra defense against magic.
i wish you put the songs in the description, i really like the music you choose for prayer dance life and luna/sol but its kinda hard to listen to them on free time when i dont know what to type in besides vague hints relating to the skill associated with it ._.
