Wow wow wow. As you guys know, I'm a big Aimer fan. I just love her voice. It contains concentrated emotion - and what I mean by that is her singing is so beautiful that it puts me to tears regardless of what it is about. In this case, it hits me HARD when she sings the first chorus with the soft instrumental. Pardon my vocabulary (kek), but I feel euphoric when I listen to this song. It makes me think about very existential things while being emotional. It wrecks me :/
Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress has turned to utter shit at the moment. The characters were great in the beginning. Mumei was so cool and fantastic, but she has transformed into a literal baby and all that's left of the plot is defeat the evil big step brother. This is so unfortunate since the art is still great and the music - well, I'm covering the ending theme, aren't I?
I'll be doing Re:Zero OP (full version) next week. This song has grown on me, and I'm enjoying Re:Zero immensely at the moment. The show will continue to the summer season, so I'm very happy about that~

The other day, I was listening to Ninelie for the first time in a long time. I remembered this video existed so I decided to pop in for nostalgia. It's been 2 years and this cover is even better than I remembered. I have never felt so calm yet so energized after listening to a song. I want to thank you for making my day amazing and keep doing your best.
I thought I would dislike this after Animenz's version, but damn. TheIshter just has this awesome heavy bass style. I LOVE IT

I feel like Animenzz puts a lot of effort into inserting stylistic elements which are quite hard to pull off but don't necessarily enrich the melody. He individualizes his pieces and lays his own emphases, creating an interesting but more-or-less new song.
You, on the other hand, keep more true to the original soundtracks (i.e. the emotional parts in the original song will be reflected in your play). That's why I often prefer your versions of soundtracks which I had already truly enjoyed.
In any case, you're both superb! ^_^
I'm also a huge Aimer fan! I've listened to Ninelie countless times and you've really done the song justice with this arrangement, I love it!
That final chorus though, wowwww
Wow this is very inspiring and since my piano exam is tomorrow I feel like I'm going to do even better, Thank YOU. I might just play some anime music to warm up. I'm actually really excited to play something other than classical on a grand for once.

Whereas animenz's arrangement is a textural eargasm with incredible structure and complexity, yours is your signature powerful bass-heavy arrangement, with much emotion but also very dynamic, with a very much appreciated mininalistic version of the middle quiet section (really does emphasise the calm before the storm). You captured the atmosphere in your own incredible way, ahhh i love both i think aimer brought out the best of you two
The arpeggio at 3:56 is sick!! Crazy stuff dude.

What a FUCKING AMAZING transcription!!!
At fist you play it softly and slowly, but it turns out to be so gorgeous and magnificent after 3 minutes.
And after 4 minutes, the whole aura is upgraded again!

Despite the show getting less shallow, I'm still watching Kabaneri as the art and music are still really great to enjoy (just as long as you turn your brain off).

I like that arpeggios you used to mimic the sub-melody in the song, the alterations of the melody sounds pretty unique :D The right hand jumps during the major chorus :D
3:35 with the deep notes for that part of the song really stands out. I always hear people using the higher notes there :)
4:25 with the right hand. I always felt weird playing just pure octave chords for the right hand there, damn I wished i thought of using those arpeggios thingy right hand thing :'D

This cover seriously reflects the flaw in my own cover. I always the type of person who always technical obsessed. I struggled many days to make the cover interesting , amazing , thought provoking. Culminating into one gigantic "mess" with full of unnecessary techniques. This cover on other hand , barely rely on anything fancy.You arrange it like you always do. Let the melody flows and utilize the basics to its maximum potential. While this cover is definitely not technical heavy, but the musicality is top-notch , this version is my personal favorite on youtube and it is one of the few cover that I like yours more than Animenz's version (don't get me wrong , both of you are amazing in there own way , but for this song , your lyrical style is more suitable) Keep up the great work senpai :) (and sorry for another long-ass comment , I always like this when I finished watching great cover lol)

Master Ishter...this would probably be the very first time that I will post a comment on one of your masterpieces since I started loving your work way back in 2016 (starting off with your covers for Guilty Crown that is).
I was able to watch Kotetsujou no Kabaneri after a year it was released and LOVED all of Sawano Hirayuki's BGM masterpieces too. Then I heard this cover of yours for NINELIE and I am really astonished EACH AND EVERY TIME I HEAR YOU PLAY some of my favorite anime songs/BGM.

I love the different composition styles between Animenz and Theishter. Animenz is more evocative to the original sound and very vibrant and Theishter is a bit more off the beaten path and more emotional and sensual sounding. Both have done amazing covers of this piece and i can't pick a winner because they both sound so good for slightly different reasons.
Spent 10mins listing to 2 videos by Theisther, it was a good 10mins,now it will be hours upon hours
I really like Kabaneri. Some may say that it went downhill. But I personally like where its going. And now this performance gave me watery eyes.
