While she sings, she holds the note and makes it longer, so she is always a bit behind the other instruments.THe counter rythms in this are awesome as well. I NEVER had any interest in music theory whatsoever - suddenly I discovered Nier:Replicant for myself as well as Jonathan Barouch and here I am.

The rendition of Destruction is amazing. I would die for a concert of the entire Replicant and Automata soundtrack. Honestly one of the best soundtracks in gaming period.

I actually hated Replicants OST... Its got nothing on Gestalt. The original has so much power and oomf behind it. Replicant is nice, but too dreamy i feel. I wish there was a live version of the Gestalt OST...

I love the effort put into this cover. Many covers of Nier music fail to replicate (hehe) the magic of the music because they are originally in Chaos language, yet many simply do an English voice over (translation) and it just pulls you out of the experience (exception: Weight Of The World). In my opinion, the soundtracks by Okabe work so well because the lyrics and the instruments have this beautiful synergy. I feel the same synergy from this, so thank you for doing justice to this masterpiece. :)
i'm usually into death metal & deathcore but th game Nier Automata was an experience i'd wish to have again from the start without knowing anything about it. I would love to go to such an orchestra and i love it's music with my whole heart

How can Nier cause you depression ? The whole game is a tale of hope and defiance despite the cruel nature one can live in. It’s the most uplifting game I played in my entire life ^_^

Game shouldn't feel like an insult. Games should be respected as being an art medium as good as the others, and in fact has some clear advantages and merits others don't have: The fact that it is interactive, and that it can involve many different forms of art together: Music, Art, Animation, Writing, and more.

I ended up carrying someones whole guild.. most were 10-30k lifeforce lower than me.. basically I was the only one online in colosseum :p Also it kinda required more armor & weapon upgrade grinding just to progress a single story in a chapter. So I gave it up :p at least until new character appears. I'm expecting a match-box girl's story

Ahh ça faisait longtemps que j'attendais du NieR sur cette chaîne ! C'était évidemment super et au niveau des attentes. Je me suis surpris à espérer une transition entre Grandma et Grandma Destruction plutôt que 2 morceaux distinct, ça aurait atteint la perfection pour moi, mais les deux morceaux sont joués de façon excellente donc je n'ai rien à redire. Toujours un plaisir de voir une chaîne qui était à la base un projet amateur et sans prétention se professionnaliser et libérer son potentiel. Keep going guys ;)

Nah. Automata got good music too, but replicant and drakengard3 are on different level. Automata music is more ambient, while replicant and drakengard3 are pure suffering.
Bravo, c'est une merveille cette cover ! Nier et Nier Automata ont sans aucun doute les meilleures OST jamais écrite. J'ai beau adorer les créations de Nobuo Uematsu pour les Final Fantasy, les OST de Nier ont quelque chose de viscéral et qui accompagnent à merveille cette quête de la conscience et de l'humanité de ces deux jeux.
J'ai pas joué au jeu, donc il me manque toute la partie "mémoire" pour apprécier au mieux la reprise, mais ça m'a pas empêché d'en frisonner, c'est superbe, encore une fois!
Sinon, tu peux aussi ne serait-ce qu'écouter l'OST. C'est ce qui m'a donné envie de jouer au jeu, et c'était une erreur de ne pas y jouer plus tôt. Haha.

Man, this really makes me want to both NieR Automata and Grandma again. I used to know how to play this song on the piano about a year ago, in fact, it was the first full piano song I learned. Ever since I got a job though, my dad could count on one hand the number of times I've played piano since. Only recently about a few days ago when our car got a flat tire and we were waiting on the repairs, we waited at the music store a block away. The same place where I got my first actual piano. I finally got the chance to sit down and practice piano again for the first time in about a year. I forgot how to play most of the songs I knew back then, Grandma, Quiets Theme, The Brokes Coda, and some I forgot the name of. But Grandma, the first song I learned, I could only play parts of it now. I'm probably going to move my piano back into my room and get back to playing it again this week. It just makes me sad knowing I used to be able to play this song. Seeing you folks around my age play it makes me want to learn it again.
Im thinking about getting an electric piano after listening to nier music so much too. Used to play bass a lot like 4-5 years ago. Sometimes i pick it up, but man, the fingers doesnt work like they used in the past. Its so depressing.

I ended up carrying someones whole guild.. most were 10-30k lifeforce lower than me.. basically I was the only one online in colosseum :p
Also it kinda required more armor & weapon upgrade grinding just to progress a single story in a chapter.
So I gave it up :p at least until new character appears.

Ahh ça faisait longtemps que j'attendais du NieR sur cette chaîne ! C'était évidemment super et au niveau des attentes.
Je me suis surpris à espérer une transition entre Grandma et Grandma Destruction plutôt que 2 morceaux distinct, ça aurait atteint la perfection pour moi, mais les deux morceaux sont joués de façon excellente donc je n'ai rien à redire.
Toujours un plaisir de voir une chaîne qui était à la base un projet amateur et sans prétention se professionnaliser et libérer son potentiel. Keep going guys ;)

Nah. Automata got good music too, but replicant and drakengard3 are on different level. Automata music is more ambient, while replicant and drakengard3 are pure suffering.

Nier et Nier Automata ont sans aucun doute les meilleures OST jamais écrite. J'ai beau adorer les créations de Nobuo Uematsu pour les Final Fantasy,
les OST de Nier ont quelque chose de viscéral et qui accompagnent à merveille cette quête de la conscience et de l'humanité de ces deux jeux.

Thank you for this. I personally really enjoy Nier's Gestalt/Replicant "Grandma" but Destruction has that hype feeling from it while actually playing the game.

Man, this really makes me want to both NieR Automata and Grandma again. I used to know how to play this song on the piano about a year ago, in fact, it was the first full piano song I learned. Ever since I got a job though, my dad could count on one hand the number of times I've played piano since.
Only recently about a few days ago when our car got a flat tire and we were waiting on the repairs, we waited at the music store a block away. The same place where I got my first actual piano. I finally got the chance to sit down and practice piano again for the first time in about a year. I forgot how to play most of the songs I knew back then, Grandma, Quiets Theme, The Brokes Coda, and some I forgot the name of. But Grandma, the first song I learned, I could only play parts of it now.
I'm probably going to move my piano back into my room and get back to playing it again this week. It just makes me sad knowing I used to be able to play this song. Seeing you folks around my age play it makes me want to learn it again.
Im thinking about getting an electric piano after listening to nier music so much too. Used to play bass a lot like 4-5 years ago. Sometimes i pick it up, but man, the fingers doesnt work like they used in the past. Its so depressing.
