- This truly was a heart opener of a week. I felt the real joys of vanlife and living on the road; hiking, nature, small towns and community. There was almost too much beauty for my little soul to absorb.
Join me as we spend a few days hiking Bunya National Park, exploring Maidenwell and learning about the nearby Coomba Falls, and falling in love with the town of Goomeri (shoutout to Goomeri Bush Camp for being the cutest, quirkiest place to spend the night).

what a lovely trip ,you can't bet the towns for food and hospitality .
Very, very true!!
Am liking your choice of locations. Shame to hear about Coomba falls history, as it’s a great swimming spot. Your lesser known areas visited makes a point of difference from all the other UA-camrs who always go to the same popular places. Nice work
Thanks so much. We are really enjoying letting the wind blow us wherever it wants us to go and finding little gems to explore!
This is incredible adventure hiking through Bunya National Park! It sounds like a truly magical experience, immersing yourself in the stunning natural beauty of the park.
Absolutely blew my mind! Such a stunning place :)
Happy travels, great insight 🙏
Wow that last campsite looked awesome! So quintessentially Aussie! Also that Snickers tart....I bet Rohan was on the biggest sugar rush after that!
It was gorgeous! And so many cows just roaming freely! Rohans enjoyed a few sugar rushes on this expedition 😂
We’re only about 45 mins from Goomeri. It’s a beautiful little town. Great coffee and a good bookstore and soap shop. Thanks for the video
I honestly loved it a lot! Had a true charm to it!
I am setting you a challenge. I would like you to capture on video a platypus in the wild. I know you are in the vicinity of these elusive charmers. Good luck!
We’ve been trying 😬 no luck just yet… fingers crossed we spot one soon.
@@jessiwandering I have faith.
@@jessiwandering I should add, that it took Tracy and I 64 years before we spotted our first one.
@@michaelfleming6804 oh wow! They are elusive!
@@michaelfleming6804wow that’s commitment. I would love to find one on my Vanlife journey
Just found your channel and enjoying your peaceful videos as you both set out on your journey. You’re doing a great job 😊
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Living tha dream guys ! Great video 👍👍👍🇦🇺
We think so 😉 thanks so much!
About 20,000 people attended the pumpkin festival this year.
That’s incredible!! Makes me wish we had been there that time of year even more. Plus I love pumpkin 😂!
Before you went to Coomba Falls, you weren't actually putting sneakers on, you were putting on your hiking boots. Also, the name of the national park is actually called Bunya Mountains National Park.
Thank you for providing that clarity to my video ☺️ you’re absolutely right!
@@jessiwandering You're welcome!
Still it’s free
thanks for sharing look forward to the n🤩ext
Thanks so much!!
I thought you were going to put the tomato’s sauce on the snickers tart 😂
Hahaha that would have been… disturbing 😂
I believe the grass is maintained by Council Kangaroos
😂 Makes sense - easily pleased, low cost employees!
