It's pronounced 'York-sher' That's how we pronounce 'shire' here when talking of English counties. Yorkshire puddings traditionally are part of the great British Sunday Roast. Best dinner ever.
It's not fair you guys. I started pissing myself laughing as soon as you started talking & didn't stop for 22 minutes. You're fucking hysterical. 😂😂😂♥️🇬🇧
Always liked this sketch from Hughes glad you guys reacted to it I enjoyed it a lot I had totally forgotten about this sketch cheers from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Yorkshire Pudding-the food of the Gods! Eaten with a roast dinner is stupendous. Can also be eaten as a pudding as well. My favourite is with Golden Syrup and extra thick double cream.
As a Yorkshire man I call sacrilege! How dare you not know what a Yorkshire pudding is 🤷🏻♂️. haha try them, I would highly recommend it on a Sunday roast. If its from Yorkshire its great have trust in the Yorkshire folk. it's gods back garden. sithi mush.
Only myself to blame lol. I could have watched this or something boring while i finish my beer before bed. Less than 5 minutes in and i'm opening another can and not caring it's almost 6am lol. (It's ok i don't have to be up until after midday, but still... lol).
I had Yorkshire pudding this week. Its nice . Had it was a roast beef and gravy. Roast potatoes and mashed potatoes. Plus vegetables. Delicious. And some stuffing. Nothing better.
Your kids must be the most 'well-balanced' 'liberated' and normal kids ever! Or not? They're going to be either priests or thugs! What a refreshingly fun-filled household - Birthdays and Christmas's have got to be a riot! Just brilliant guys.
Yorkshire pudding is a very versatile food. You can have it with onion gravy as a starter, with your main roast dinner, as a dessert with syrup and is especially nice with maple syrup. You can have it for breakfast with a full English breakfast inside it. Stick some sausage in the batter and you have Toad in the hole. Make a stew and serve it in a large Yorkshire pudding using the pudding as a bowl.
Lol Yorkshire puddings are good with any meal involving gravy, would fit in with a sunday roast or any meat veg and spuds, lol tho u need to be careful , dont push her too far lmao i reckon she could take u out if u crossed a line, its in the eyes... hahaha.... jokes aside, u 2 seem so fun, n happy... i love to watch ur obviously genuine selves... its a refreshing change to see people that are just themselves n not trying to portray what they think others want... never change and i reckon ur channel will grow.. i hope so.. u ever want an honest answer on something from this end of the pond ur not sure about, id be happy to let u know... just keep being u, its kinda inclusive and thats different, but cool ..
Ah Steve Hughes, one of the few comedians I've loved seeing live. Gone a bit too tin foil hat these days, but still great. A fellow Canadian for you to consider is Phil Nichols (seen him upstairs in an Irish pub working on Edinburgh Fringe fest material). He's wild and raunchy "at the comedy store" is a good starting point.
Have you ever watched the INBETWEENERS? Great UK comedy series, there are some very funny sketches through out the whole series.......Jay Cartwright in particular is hilarious!
Love Yorkshire Puddings. My Grandmother made the best in the world. Coming from Yorkshire, traditionally YP's were eaten first with gravy before the main meal, this was because meat was expensive so you filled up on YP's first. YP's were always eaten on a Sunday with roast beef never any other meat or any other day of the week. She would make the batter the day before, let it sit in the cold pantry, then put the batter into the red hot, huge YP tin which had had the beef cooking in (and was never cleaned just wiped round after each use) Delicious, no onion gravy though I'm afraid.
I'm glad you explained the toonie...I just rewatched an episode of Justified yesterday where a guy comes up to this other guy and says he dropped his toonie before eventually killing him, and I was a bit confused about what he was talking about since the location of this scene was taking place in Canada and I hadn't heard the term before lol
The bloke that stitched up Avi Yemeni. Cut up the interview, to make himself look good. Look up the uncut version from a phone that caught all the interview. You will see Jim Jeffreies in a different light. With the things Jim said.
Actually, he's right. Governments in third world countries are naturally limited by resources which serendipitously creates a libertarian dream. Most people in the West have a hard time understanding this fact. Poor countries are usually more free than their developed counterparts because they exist closest to the state of nature before different power structures come into play.
You two crack me up, you should sometimes forget the reaction and just talk to the camera. You could call it, "Brad and Lucy Talking Bollocks", it would go down very well here in the UK
I love watching you two. I just scrolled through your list of videos, and you are certainly prolific posters. You have introduced me to many new comics, and I would like to return the favor. Frankly, I don't know why you have not reacted to this fellow already. Possibly the funniest story I've ever heard, I hope you get to it soon; Jim Jefferies Taking An MD Sufferer To See A Prostitute.
Yes they look similar but YP's don't have butter in them and never used as a dessert. If YP batter is cooked in a frying pan/skillet like your Dutch Baby's it's a pancake here then you can use it as a dessert but we only tend to eat them this way on Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday) traditionally with sugar and lemon and that's all you eat for tea/dinner that day nothing else traditionally.
Yorkshire is pronounced York sure. You can say shire as shire when its on its own. (Not when a place name is joined). Eg Shire horse, the shires. The York sher thing they are wrong, in one comment. Maybe in Liverpool, Newcastle where the accent is different, but thats around the Lancashire area. But still keep 'um coming. 👍
brummie here never liked Yorkshire pudding or do i have the Sunday dinner more of a Japanese or Chinese foods using veg and meat including boiled eggs and seaweed guy or noodles with veg and boiled eggs or new Zealand lamb with rice never liked tea but drink coffee and mineral water do not like potatoes or chips that much ,fresh fish yes bakes in pastry with raisons and lime but i do like pukka pies never liked gravy but love fresh veg or boiled
Yorkshire pudding is just pastry, it's shaped like a bag and full to the brim with.....air. it's the most disappointing food ever, because the pudding is there in name only!

Americans always seem to get the pronunciation wrong. I usually tell them to say "sir" but just add an "H" after the "I" for a "shir" sound
The thing that annoys me about it is they have a place called _New Hampshire_ which they pronounce correctly. Its a total logical fallacy.
@@samhilton4173 That's so true. Didn't think of that :)

I second that! You two kill me with laughter before the reaction video even starts!
Look up "toad in the hole", the it's an English dish, consisting of sausages in Yorkshire pudding, withbest served with onion gravy😎🏹🙏
Sounds great!😊

Went to see Steve a few years back and he is brilliant.
Fun reaction. I love Steven Hughes, and I love your beer glasses!
Props for the Jim Carrey quote!

Just got to love you two. 😂
Yorkshire pudding is savoury even tho its called a pudding its like a pastry type thing you have with roast dinner etc
Only myself to blame lol. I could have watched this or something boring while i finish my beer before bed. Less than 5 minutes in and i'm opening another can and not caring it's almost 6am lol. (It's ok i don't have to be up until after midday, but still... lol).

WE deserved getting Roasted about the x factor after all the Fantastic Bands in Britain 🇬🇧.
200 grammes of plain (all purpose flour), 300 millilitres of milk, 4 eggs, salt & pepper to taste. Wonderful!😁❤
Sounds great!
sacrilege you never put pepper in Yorkshire pudding batter.
i didn't care for the stand up, but you guys are hilarious. 😂
Try to sort out his "While It's Still Legal" video. Absolutely amazing.
Yorkshire pudding is nothing but a bit of deep fried pastry. Just leave it, unless it accompanies a decent Sunday roast.
James Martins Yorkshire Puddings recipe is the best, look it up and make it with onion gravy, mind blowing.
Sounds great! Ill get Lucy on it 😁🍻

In the US we would refer to a Yorkshire pudding as either a popover or a dutch baby.
A popover is not completely the same
