Steve Hughes on gays. I cried with laughter at that. As an aside, when I worked as a pub manager I was overjoyed when the smoking ban came in, sometimes the smoke was so thick it absolutely had to be harming my health and I was spending about 60 hours a week in there.
I totally understand point of view with the job you had, but as a drinker and smoker i hate the ban in i think it was 2007.i'd been boozing in pubs since i was 13 (1993) thanks to my beard lol, and smoking in them since 2000.
Had the pleasure of seeing Steve at a live gig here in the West of Ireland very recently and he is brilliant. He has stepped back from big venues because of the wokies.
As a British service engineer who works in the plant hire industry, which is closely tied to the construction industry, I'm glad of health and safety regulations. Work related deaths have gone down pretty much every year due to health and safety regulations. Steven Hughes is funny, but he's obviously never worked in the construction or farming industries, which are VERY dangerous compared to other occupations, like being a stand-up comedian.
The RAW comedy club bit by Steve is more racy, He doesn't have to sanitize himself for a more respectable audience. He's my favorite because he gives the grey matter a bit of exercise as well as a laugh.
Great as always guys. I've been subscribed to your channel for a while now but this is my first request. I'm a 69 yr old Scotman and would be so pleased if you would have a listen to a singer/songwriter who is a fellow Scot of mine, Louis Capaldi and my favourite song of his called Someone you Loved. Once you've heard that one, I'm 100% sure you'll want to hear more so, another fav of mine is Before You Go.I think you will be amazed at how his powerful voice can originate in such a small body. Keep up the great work you two; your banter with one another shows you have exactly the same type of relationship as I do with my better half Netti. I visited Montreal and Quebec in 1967 when Expo '67 was there.I was only 14 but I had an older cousin who, with his fiance, were travelling round the world and at the time were both working in the Bank of Nova Scotia in Montreal, so the visit only cost my mother and I the air fare.It was an unforgettable time as General de Gaulle was visiting and we saw him there, as well as bumping into The Duke and Duchess of Kent at the Exposition. I worked up the courage to introduce myself to them and was rewarded with a few minutes chatting with them. All in all a really unforgettable holiday.
Guy who used to run the Anti Smoking lobby drove a 4.0ltr car than in a single day put out as much pollution as a smoker in a year hahahaha. Smoking ban was a joke.....almost all pubs had put in industrial level air purifuying units...after they took them all out and now the pubs are stinking, full of traffic polution. Flying is WAY WAY more dangerous now as airlines used to HAVE to change the entire air every 15mins with clean external air, now they don't have to change it once.....
I feel your anger on the vaping fascism! Not allowed to do anything these days. I have to argue with people who seriously want what Steven was joking about with the blanket in the woods. Ban smoking within 500m of a building, but let as many ICE vehicles drive right past. Vaping's the freshest air you'll ever breathe in an urban setting.
This is the first time i've seen this guy, but i love him already, and agree with what he said about offending people and health and safety lol. I'm keeling an eye out for more of his stuff. Btw i'm a smoker too so also agree with his remarks on that.
Before the days of backseat seatbelts as a kid in the 80's on the motorway (highway) i used to have my head out the window. Sometimes as a kid i'd lie the whole journey on the (i'm not a driver i don't know car words) parcel shelf thing directly behind the back seat. I never died, admittedly the car didn't crash, but i survived lol.
Of course it is all about control, and we are told that _everything_ is SO much more dangerous than it actually is, like car crashes Car crashes happen of course, I've been in two (while others were driving), but that's was over a period of over 40 years while I've practically lived in a car We hear all the time about murders, but it never happened to me or no1 close to me, the only one I ever knew that was murdered was a guy who had done a LOT of bad shit himself and was involved in big drug sales Very little of all of he things that they scare us is actually a danger to most of us, it is just there to create a society that is easy to control "Thought crime" was coined in the book 1984(I think) and it is already a part of our society, we just don't call it that yet
We didn't ( Irish) still cant believe it .although the pubs have adapted, firstly around a third of customers were outside on the street (the fun people) and then friends would accompany them , so now they built a tent with hearing system, and an outside bar ( in many places) i dont understand the vap thing ridiculous
Well ahead of his time, listen to his video " While its still legal" and you'll see why he got black listed by mainstream comedy clubs. The truth hurts.
Steve is a legend, absolute legend.

Ya my uncle died in 1980 and my dad had purple bloches 2" wide every where over his body. My dad lost 10 year's because of boose and gas.
I saw steve just before xmas in a small pub in Hull, England. I met him, we shared a joint, it was class. What a clever man xxx
So cool 😁👍
Steven Hughes has some great bits. He was quite a prominent heavy metal drummer before he started stand up.
One of the best standup routines i've ever seen! Bloody love Steve Hughes.... Oh no, i said 'BLOODY'. Please don't be offended 😆
😲🤣🍻
Brad hit us with a dadjoke, and Lucy comes right back with a momjoke. Very nice :-) Hughes is funny too.
Danny Bhoy-Live in Montreal. You two are the best.
Steve Hughes on gays is fantastic. hope you react.
Thanks guy love Steve

He was nerfed here. His real work is much deeper. I love him. Australia's own Bill Hicks.

Absolute legend of a comedian

Thank you for the excuse to stop being busy. Love this clip about being offended so want to see your reaction 😁
At 2:09 he says "the rest of you relax" 👍
Sooo mature lol you guys make my day I swear!
finally some great aussie comedian
I want to see the bubbles!
😁🎷
You should check out Steve's podcasts. He saw through the entire scamdemic. A very smart comedian!
Steve was on the way to being the next carlin but his mental health undermined him.
I like Steve Hughes

Please react to Jim Jeffries, Freedumb. I would like to hear your reaction to his Canadian accent.
We have trouble getting the Netflix specials through copyright
Steve Hughes may well have the best timing in the game.
It sounded more scottish than aussie Brad lol
Steve Huges Live at the Apollo (Full) - very funny.........if you are looking to take a second dip into his content....
As we on the subject of Australia do some Tim Minchin ! Sure I just commented this on the last vid haha. I shall wait my turn
Monty Python is always a good start.
I could sit and watch you guys just exchange banter even if you didn't put a video on.
😁🍻😎
You should check Dylan Moran... he's my favourite comedian!
This didn't well though because now UK police will register a "Non crime hate incident" when certain groups are offended
Well ahead of his time, listen to his video " While its still legal" and you'll see why he got black listed by mainstream comedy clubs. The truth hurts.
People do need to get a life, it seems to be worse in America than the UK. Brits don't tend to give a shit who they offend.
Correct, i certainty don't worry about offending people lol.
Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right lol.
yer aussia accent is scottish
Firth of forth.
far from his best material. You should look up more
What's brown and sounds like a bell?
