The woman with the two phones appeared to be one of those types and she pointed out she is required to be out of the office quite commonly. It's a weird position within city/state governments because they're technically regular employees (so they have to follow personnel rules) but their jobs are not the same as traditional salary employees. The first guy was obviously lying, but I wouldn't be surprised if the other woman is working most of her hours out of the office. The reporter was exceptional at stating that his review does not mean they were lying, but that their time sheets "indicated" they were working at the office (since personnel rules require it). It's likely some Executive Assistants, like the 2nd woman, are breaking telecommuting policies. Granted, the policies should probably be amended for someone in her position.

For example, imagine youre at work minding your business and someone runs in and accuses u of stealing money with a bunch of inconclusive evidence? “I saw you take that money” but in reality youre a cashier and its your job to take money and secure safely out of sight from customers. The point is this story is exactly that a “story” this reporter was not objective and added his opinion. Clearly this is an old reporter scared of being phased out running questionable stories that lack investigative integrity and all for clout. Its sad this was even televised.
My mom used to work for at an airport operated by the City of San Jose on the night shift. Workers, including the supervisors, would clock in, get into their work vehicles, park somewhere and sleep through their shift, clock out and then go to their day job.
How is playing hockey on the clock fair in this case? Let regular people do this, and either a severe deduction comes, or fired. Look how this old lady lied, then all of a sudden, two weeks later, she resigns.

This was 2 years ago and this kind of crap still happens in many if not all states and government jobs. Our tax dollars pay for all these employees who don't really work what they say they do. There are many of people in this country who could be trained to do these jobs and would live to have these jobs. People that would actually work what they say they do. Could you imagine how much money could be saved in states and government if this all was investigated and put to an end? We could save even more tax dollars because it obviously doesn't take nearly as many employees to do these jobs that the states and government has hired to do so. If one employee can work only 2 days a week but get paid for a 40 hour week and get their work done then there should only be a 16 hour employee assigned to that job. Saving 24 hours a week from one position.

Well lately I am absent from office, but working hard at home. I have schedule, I have phone calls, e-mails pop ups all the time from the office, and most of all, my computer can't lie. I do a lot work either at home or at the office. I do a lot work comparing to other people around me. I see horrible things around me. I know too much, and they don't know.
