The 787 is hands down the best looking commercial airliner, makes me ecstatic everytime I see one. I’ve flown on them a couple times and the interior of those things is straight out of the future. Really fun to fly and enjoyable for being on super long flights!
Dad used to fly UAL 727s and we lived along the flight path in Arlington Heights. In the early days, we'd park (just like you!) and watch the airplanes land for cheap entertainment. I can smell the jet fuel exhaust from here. Thank you for these great memories.

I love plane spotting at O’Hare! So many awesome planes land there and there’s 8 runways! That’s the most in the whole entire world! I especially adore O’Hare because I’m rarely around it and my family and I always fly out and into midway, so all I’m use to is your basic 737 models.

Yep, since the 70's. Too bad nowadays there aren't many airlines and airplanes anymore. One airplane I thought was really cool is Lockheed Tristar 1011. Looks it up. It's like the most advanced plane at that time and way ahead of Boeing when it came to technology.
Gotta say you have my favorite flight channel, you capture not only great video, but great sound, and aircraft without sound is like a song with no melody, great work appreciated much...
The 777-300 ER and the MD-11F were probably literally almost next to each other for the entire flight, both headed to Frankfurt and took off at the same time.

I always enjoy your plane spotting videos. Finally caught a airline flight from a former home airport, Harrisburg International Airport. My home airport now is Orlando International Airport here in Florida
The new United livery certainly stands out. But I am not a fan of it, because of the curved line and the globe. The wave looked cheap when it was introduced on the Boeing 787. And the new livery surely could have done without it. My first dedicated United States aircraft spotting trip went to Chicago O'Hare, almost twenty years ago. I spend almost four full days airside, logging hundreds and hundreds of aircraft. The variety of airlines and aircraft types was great, it was a very memorable experience.
