I sure miss my hometown airport! (moved in 1995). When I was a young boy growing up in Park Ridge, we were on final approach to ORD. Aircraft would sometimes fly so low Mom would hand them a cup of coffee 😂. On Saturday morning, I’d walk over to the Marriott and hitch a courtesy bus ride out to O’Hare (drivers all knew me) and spend hours out there. Gate agents would take me out to the planes and let me sit in them (oh yes this was in the ‘60s). Aaaah memories. Great shots👍🏻. So proud of my national airline (SAS) 🇸🇪 making that pillow landing 👍🏻
You prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the password. I love any help you can give me!
@Dillon Gregory Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
@@timobrownie6198 Of course I know. But I hope Sweden and Norway finally will realize and sell that fucking airline to Denmark and the danes. It's completely a danish airline, or more exactly CPH. Because the danish government has invested most. It doesn't make sense if the have renamed it to Copenhagen Airlines. SAS should actually remove all their routes from Sweden and Norway instead because this airline has no future in the aviation industry in the both countries.
7:45, this is the most gracious landing i've ever seen from a plane. Very alluring. I wonder if it's smoothiness is due to the model of the aircraft or just the pilot skills.
Noting that this airplane is only about one year old, it most definately has a feature called "autoland", whereby an aircraft can fully land itself once programmed by a pilot. However it is very rarely used except in excellent weather on giant runways, and then still only on occassion, as pilots probably enjoy the landing more than any other aspect of flight.
Great filming Sir, some wonderful visuals and landings here. You are right to be proud of this. My my, the A350 is such an elegant aircraft isn’t it! It looks bloody marvellous in the SAS livery and British Airways livery. That final one in your video, the United 777 flight from Taipei; 13 hours of flight and he lays it down so beautifully like that. It was balletic. So nice to see such precise and delicate skills with such a huge aircraft. Well done whoever you are Mr pilot 👍

Some people like me say that commercial jets are underrated because others describe commercial jets as “boring” when they say fighter jets are much more exciting. Commercial jets may be boring for some but they’re every bit as exciting as fighter jets, just in a different way. If nothing else, they’re BIG and they still fly 8 miles up at transonic speeds. Look how smoothly they land in this video despite their size!
Beautiful! My grandparents house is literally five minutes away from a major airport (Norfolk International). When I lived there I could literally see the names of the airlines as the planes flew overhead. Also too, the Navy’s fighter jets streaked through the skies. It was pretty cool to watch

I have to say, the International pilots finesse their landings in a ballet-like manner. Beautiful to watch. SAS in particular.
Agreed!
I hate SAS because that airline has destroyed the Swedish aviation industry since they removed their long haul routes to CPH.

That was a good landing but I think the United 777 right after was better.
The SAS livery looks sooo good on the A350!😍
