Lovely and wholesome content! I got my first vita in July after years of on-and-off interest. I am mainly a trophy hunter on PlayStation systems, so I have been working on some games with Trophies, but JRPGs are my favorite genre and really need to dive into some on the vita. Physical collecting has to be now because I have a feeling in 1 to 2 years, prices will be too outrageous.
Thanks!! 😄 I have a feeling prices will only climb from here as well. Best of luck with your trophy hunting - hope you're able to fit in some Vita JRPGs soon :)
Never ceases to amaze me just how many visual novel games there are available. The zero escape series was one of my first forays into the genre besides Ace Attorney. I still have to hunt down Zero Time Dilemma at some point. Those Trails of the Sky box sets are gorgeous! Really hoping the Sky series makes its way to Switch at some point. With the prices of Vita games these days it makes me regret ever trading any of them in the past. Great pickups again, always a joy to watch your videos. You have such a calming aura.
There are so many VNs! Covering so many different genres haha. I was thinking that the Zero Escape will get a Switch port at some point but they've been taking their time on that one lol. But Trails in the Sky definitely need ports or remasters on the Switch! I really hope all the awkward localization licensing won't get in the way with that down the line. And thank you! I appreciate your kind words :)
@@orbalology I couldn't agree with you more. I've been praying and hoping that the Zero Escape Trilogy gets a remaster for Switch. I wonder why they haven't done so yet. Seems to make perfect sense to me. 🥲
After watching this vid made me wish I gave my vita some more love. I mainly got it to play the HD remaster for FFX. Then eventually I got a handful of games for it like P4G, the zero escape games, and Danganronpa. Now a lot of these games are appearing on other consoles so the dust my vita is collecting grows each day lol but it’s so nice to see how passionate the vita fanbase is. Looking forward to see how your collection grows!
Thanks! It's great that a lot of the past Vita exclusive games are now available on other consoles so more people can enjoy them. It would be nice if I was more of a digital gamer but alas I find it hard to resist the pull of physical collecting lol 😂
One of the saddest moments recently was when Gamestop stopped carrying them in store. It was a special part of my weekly trip to search for them. 😥 Great video!
I remember going to my local one back in 2018 when I started getting into the Vita & it was a sad to learn that they didn't carry any Vita games (or really any handheld games at all). TBF it was a super small store but sad nevertheless. I never went back since they closed not too long after 😅
I didn’t see it mentioned but if you don’t have Gravity Rush it’s amazing! The physical version on PS4 is expensive but I think that remaster is the best way to play it.
Funny thing is I actually ordered Gravity Rush 2 the other day haha. But I agree while pricey the remastered PS4 version of the original looks like the best way to go! These games really seem pretty unique.
The moment you showed your Excel sheet I told myself jeez I do need it, and the second after you said that there a link to DL it in description, so cool! This is the very first video I'm watching of you, I sub directly, great pickups btw👌🇧🇪
That spreadsheet is amazing. I use one for tracking what I play over the years. Have been doing it for 10 years or so now. But was looking for one to track my collection.
Great video, always nice to see the vita getting some love! Actually waiting for my copy of trails in the sky JP right now, never played this series so super hyped to get into it after hearing all the praises that everyone who’s played the series gives it haha
Just found your channel, awesome video! I'm definitely going to be watching you for majority of my night. My Vita collection is small for now, figured a couple games a pay check ain't bad with how expensive the games are. Happy collecting and thanks for the entertainment!
I love the vita size and shape for playing visual novels, it's so perfect! Amnesia: Memories and Collar x Malice are some of my favourites but I'm kind of sad I'm going to run out of vita otome games to play soon 😥
Great video. Coincidentally my last Vita pick up was also Trails of Hearts R. I got into Vita Collecting really late in it's life; in the fall of 2020. Right now my collection is a bit over 60 games. A lot of these being Play-Asia exclusives, and Japanese Vita games that also have English. Most of my US collection has been whatever amazon has left on sale for a reasonable price. As I got into the VIta in the wake of the release of the Switch and the Switch lite, the PS Vita and the Playstation TV in turn has always fascinated me. It was way ahead of its time, and I kind of view as a Switch version 0.5. Especially when you look the libraries of both. Going forward I'm looking to add maybe a new vita or two once month or every other month as the Switch and 3DS a my priority. In terms of games you don't currently own and as far as I can tell aren't on your list. (Apologies if I suggest something you already have on your list.) 1. Hot Shots Golf: World Wide Invitational - A great pick up and play game with an fantastic bubbly aesthetic. Also pretty cheap on the second hand market. Even if you're not into sports game I still recommend this as it's more about presentation than the sport itself in my opinion. 2. Dragon's Crown - Another vanillaware game similar to Muramasa and Odin's Sphere. This one straddles the line between Action RPG and Beat Em Up. Think Guardian Heroes on the Sega Saturn if you're familiar with that. 3. Sly Cooper Collection - A trilogy of PS2 era platformers. Unfortunately the third one is not on the cart and was a download code which has since expired. But the first two games are still quite good. Check out this list by the fabulous VitaGamerGeorge for Japanese games with English to maybe find some cheaper versions of games (vitaparadisa.wordpress.com/the-list/) Also in terms of Demon's Gate I'd wait as a western release is rumored, and the Asian version doesn't have English on the cart. (Idk if that matters to you or not) I got a bit ramble-y to which I apologize ^^;;;;; but I enjoy your content and look forward to your continued success in all your collecting endeavors. ^^
Thank you so much for the blog post link detailing the Japanese/English Vita options, as well as all the recommendations! And I totally agree that the Vita was ahead of it's time. When it came out I was put off by how difficult it was to find games in store & memory card limitations but that was before I got more into online buying. I feel a bit silly for putting off physical collecting for so long but that's what makes collecting interesting I suppose haha. And thanks! No need to apologize for long comments, I truly appreciate them :)
Steins Gate! Great choice, thats one of my favorite games of all time. You've definitely gotten a lot of amazing games for the vita, glad to see its still getting love in current day
Glad to see people trying to get psvita games in 2022.. i’ve been an avid vita collector for years.. sorry to say i have all the games in your spreadsheet lol.. except trails in the sky SC and 3rd, i have them digitally .. hope u get the ones u want over time.. i still try to get some psp and DS games so i know how hard it is.. especially the 3DS, it’s a nightmare.. Also when did p4 go up in price like that.. I remember it being $20 for the longest time .. wow
Securing older games can be really tricky these days. I'm glad I was able to get most of the 3DS games I wanted over the years but I'm also looking at back collecting for the DS (& maybe PSP). JRPGs in particular are so expensive 🙈
@@orbalology true.. i just managed to complete my LoH gagharv trilogy and it was a nightmare. I’m still regretting not picking up dragon quest viii on the 3DS.. this game is really hard to find nowadays..
I made a mistake buying Hakuoki Kyoto Winds collector’s edition not realizing it was a dating simulator. Thought it was just a feudal Japan visual novel haha. Also feel like I messed up buying Nurse love addiction medkit edition…..not sure if I’ll ever play it haha. Awesome video. A few must owns for the Vita are: Organ Trail, The count lucanor, and Yomawari Midnight shadows
more of a ‘novice’ jrpg fan , mostly some ‘staples’ under my belt like persona 5 and dragon quest. seems like my vita will be a great place to expand my horizons. good video !
You seem very cool and laid back. You also have a badass collection although I’m not too into JRPG’s and visual novels. Any dark visual novels with a good story that you could suggest?
WOW thanks for this spreadsheet!!! wish i had that while going for sega master system full set, but i would love to use this for PS and strategy guide tracking. thanks so much!
I love that Google sheets list and how well organized you are. I need to do the same for my games, even if I don't own/have them physically. There's so many games that I like/love that if I were to collect them physically, my room would get full and I'm not sure if I want that because there's more more stuff that I also like to collect, like books or diecast car models. So Instead I end up modifying my video game consoles/handhelds, buy the games used, make a backup of them and sell back. Only for the Nintendo Switch I have bought many digital games (mostly indies type) because of how cheap they were for sale. I do have and collect some that are very good/underrated or limited released physically that were only available digitally, especially for the PS Vita and Nintendo Switch. Also, thank you very much for the Google sheets! 😍😁👍🏼
One that I'd recommend is Freedom Wars. It was developed by Japan Studio themselves, and I don't hear people talk about it a lot. It's an Action RPG, the combat takes some getting used to, but it's a real fascinating story concept (distant future Earth, all nations are essentially giant prisons, most citizens are prisoners who have to serve in the army to "earn" their freedom). Child of Light is a really cool sidescrolling RPG, and I believe the Vita version is the only one they made physically (unless you count the Switch dual pack with Valiant Hearts) -- and it's selling complete for around $35, so not bad.
Love seeing a dedicated NA Trails fan! I ended up finding a complete lot for the special editions Sky Evolution trilogy. Fun fact, there were actually TWO FC special editions. The more common one, which it looked like you have, comes with the Joshua edition art book. The Chara Ani SE has the female cast in swimsuits for the box art and comes with the Estelle edition art book. I've been pulling my hair out fighting with eBay sellers trying to get a hold of the Estelle art book edition. Nobody has a copy in stock, and they all end up cancelling my order after a week. Just thankful I got all 3 for about $100 each. Have a feeling I'm never gonna find the alternate FC tho.
I've been hunting for the Estelle edition book as well but it's much more expensive than Joshua's lol. You may have better luck looking directly on the Japanese sites using proxy service.
@@orbalology I was so mad the first time I got the run around. I had snagged an auction for the Chara Ani SE for like $75. Seller made me wait a MONTH before admitting they couldn’t acquire the item. Apparently a bunch of NA eBay sellers have proxy listings but don’t secure the item until after purchase 🙄 any recommendations for direct Japanese listings and forwarding services? I’m no stranger to blowing my monthly game budget on trails special editions haha
@@CarlosPuentes so there are a few Japanese sites to try that some proxies will buy from but some that will not. An easy one (but with higher fees) is Buyee which has a monopoly on Mercari Japan (a flea market site) that often has a lot of Trails merch. If you want to buy something on Yahoo Japan Auctions (Japan's eBay) or on surugaya or rakuma then Zenmarket is a cheaper alternative that's very user friendly.
Great video Emily! I'm not as big a physical Vita collector as you, but that said there's a few titles that I've enjoyed, and some I've heard good things about. First four being somewhat similar games in terms of style Soul Sacrifice Delta, Toukiden, God Eater, and Freedom Wars. These all sort of fall into that monster hunter clone like Vita space. Soul Sacrifice Delta is pretty unique though, and more so just an action RPG with a interesting mission based structure to it. The Toukiden games are a more japanese mythology focused set of games. God Eater is definitely a bite sized monster hunter kind of experience, set in a pretty interesting world with what I found to be an enjoyable story. Less experience with Freedom Wars, but I've heard it's a must have and is more of a Sci-Fi action RPG with that monster hunter mission structure. I've also heard some good things about Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, which is a turn based RPG that has a really interesting visual style to it that that reminds me of something like Okami. May be worth checking out as well! Finally I'll just throw this in there as someone who loves the Persona games OSTs, Persona 4 Dancing All Night is really good and is definitely the "good one" of the three rhythm dancing games ATLUS has released. Even as someone who has little to no experience with rhythm games I really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend finishing P4G before playing P4D, as its actually a sequel to P4 Golden. On the other end of things, P3D and P5D are Japanese exclusive for Vita, but you likely wouldn't need much of an understanding of them if you were curious in picking them up for Vita specifically. If not though I'd just recommend the "Endless Night collection" on PS4 which comes with all three games. Thought I'd throw some ideas out there that could be added to the list, there's definitely a whole host of dungeon crawlers as well that could be worth exploring more once you determine if the genre is up your alley. Anyway, hope that helps some! Looking forward to more videos to come! :)
Thanks for your detailed suggestions! I greatly appreciate it! I was looking into some of the monster-hunter-like games on the Vita and they do look pretty fun! I hadn't heard of Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines but I'll need to do some research on it - sounds right up my alley. And for the Persona rhythm games I've been going back and forth about getting the PS4 collection or the Vita games for the reasons you mentioned. I still need to play PS4G but I have a feeling I'll have to pick up the rhythm game right after I finish it because of the great things I've heard about the OST haha.
I was hoping to get that remastered PS4 version to go with the sequel I have (though it's so expensive on there... so I may have to go with the Vita version 😅)
@@orbalology one of the very rare cases where the ps4 version is more expensive 🤣 i think it's better on the Vita anyway, it uses it's features in a neat way.
I missed a brand new Tearaway last year and I'm still sad about it :( When my VIta's memory car started failing on me I was about to finish persona 4 Golden and I seriously considered buying a physical copy but they're quite pricy here. The Zero Escape games are a great addition. Also Corpse Party is good. Nice video
I have 34 Vita games in my collection and my favorites are Tearaway, Gravity Rush, Shovel Knight, Dungeon Travelers 2 and to give you one honorable mention Child of Light. :-)
Really enjoying your content! You have such a great speaking voice and remind me of another person who mainly guest starred in metal Jesus rocks vids by the name of Kelsey Lewin who owns a gaming store. Sorry I just had to mention this one a vid 😁 Btw, I recommend you watch MJR, he is mainly a retro games collector but he has got decent episodes on switch and PS vita also! So here are some of my favourite games I have on PS vita that maybe you will enjoy.. Shakedown Hawaii Dragon's crown Jal and Daxter trilogy Hyper dimension Neptunia U God eater 2 Fate extella the umbral star (I think you have this one on switch) Uncharted golden abyss Child of light YS memories of celceta ..I have around 75 psv games in total. Ive mainly been buying for the switch, I have 134 games for it and a backlog I may not be live long enough to get through. I think what is so great and the psv and switch is that they fundamentally are retro systems that you can play modern games on. They will be the last systems (I believe) that will offer this kind of ownership experience. Ps5 and Xbox series are very much moving into the digital space and I think this will be the last generation to offer physical disk's/cartridges. I'm pretty sure Nintendo will follow suit with their next console. I guess we will see, if any company likes going against the norm it is Nintendo, but they are a company like any other, and when there is a frame work that can save them money makes physical carts and cases, they will take it
MJR & crew are great - I enjoy watching their videos too. Thanks for all the recommendations! And yeah I'm hoping Nintendo decides to not follow the course but it may be wistful thinking at this point :/
Excellent. Top two would have to be: Trigger Happy Dragon Rompa and Gravity Rush... I still play them. Persona 4 you already have, and I too find the Switch not as compact as the Vita.
I have had my og vita since it came out but I haven't played or collected games for it since then! I really want to pick them up in stores I don't have enough B&M stores that stock them. do you primarily buy online or in store? great channel btw, just subbed!
The Vita is such a great handheld even today, I just wish it got more love from developers. Some of my favorite games on it were Gravity Rush, Uncharted, Tearaway & Mortal Kombat. The Vita is also a great device for emulators.
While i enjoy the switch, i think the psvita hit the perfect medium between portable and immersive. The screen was large enough and the build was sturdy enough to feel premium without trading usability and comfort. Both the switch and the steam deck are fun but it’s still just a bit too bulky to hit that sweet spot for me.
I get that! I find the Switch lite is nice for the more action type games but it is pretty bulky for VNs and more relaxing games (especially if you have a big grip on it like I do lol). I tried out my friend's Steam Deck not too long ago and it was pretty heavy. I can't imagine bringing that along for traveling 😅
Vita collecting now is way expensive. I'm lucky in that most of my collect I got when things came out or shortly afterwards. Granted, it's not a large collection but at least it's something.
It's really become rather pricey. I'm not sure if I'll feasibly be able to all the games currently on my list. I'll just wish that some of these titles eventually get Switch ports or something 😅
I have an extremely small Vita collection as i dont own the console. I have a PS TV that's hacked so I can play almost all of the Vita games on it except for the ones with motion controls (Tearaway & Uncharted)... My best games in my collection are Ray Gigant, VA-11 Hall-A, Oddworld Strangers Wrath & Tales of Hearts R
Stranger of Sword City, you should get the Switch Bundle, because they has the Original Game + Expansion. So on Switch its more Complete package. Child of Light, i believe their a copy of it on Switch that is also more complete. One game i can recommend is Soul Sacrifice Delta for Vita. I believe only Asia version came out with physical copy that has English. The other is Airship Q its, honestly hidden gem of imports, surprised more UA-camrs/Collectors dont talk about the game. Their few others but does two are main ones i remember. =] Good luck PS Vita fun Console to collect for.
Cool, thanks for the recs! Yeah I've noticed some of the Switch versions for these games offer more content but some of them are getting a bit pricey (for example the Stranger of Sword City bundle is above MSRP atm).
Online deals are tougher to find for the Vita. I got lucky during a sale at a local store and picked up a bunch of JRPGs and a few visual novels. Are there any decent stores around you?
Unfortunately I don't have any local stores that carry Vita games. I've done alright online but yeah a lot of them are going for fairly premium prices these days sadly.
A new location! Lol but I wish I had gotten into the Vita there so expensive now in days and the games I don’t have any recommendations sadly JRPG tax is the perfect way to describe how expensive collecting can be I’m going to attempt the trail games I want to see what the hype it’s just hard to know what game to start with
Hehe yup I filmed late afternoon yesterday and this seemed to be the best setup on the side of my work desk lol 😂 For Trails I would highly recommend starting in chronological order with Trials in the Sky FC! You can play them on Steam if you don't want to go the hacked Vita route. They are quite the time commitment and very slow burn, but well worth it imo :)
I'd recommend Touch my Katamari on vita if you want something different. As far as my vita journey goes I'm on the tail end with having most of the stuff I want. I'd like to get Super Meat Boy but it's the last vita game LRG so prices are crazy.
Oh I've heard (mostly) good things about Touch My Katamari, though prices can vary haha. And congrats on getting close to wrapping up you collection - hope you're able to find Super Meat Boy for a decent price soon!
@@orbalology I'm going to cut down on the collection and I've got a couple of the games you're looking for. If you're interested let me know I'll give you a good deal.
Oh thanks for the offer! I never know what to do in these situations when it comes to collecting, money, and power dynamics on YT. I've had a few people reach out to me asking if they can send me things & I've turned them down because I'm still a bit unsure ethically where I want to stand on this. I know your offer isn't the same but it's semi-related so I'll have to decline for now. But I do appreciate you thinking of me though.
@@orbalology @orbalology No problem. Personally I've never liked a youtuber enough to send them free stuff but I do like trading/selling to other collectors because they tend to return the favor. I'm sure you'll find those missing games in time.
I'm glad that even tho I was negligent about buying Vita games in the mid 2010s. I at least was consistent in purchasing all 8 Neptunia titles. Legit only got a Vita to play them & Zero Escape if I'm being honest here. With only missing those NISA released Limited editions of PP and even back then Re;Birth 1's LE was stupidly expensive. It randomly spiked to 1K, then dropped to 300ish for a while before Japan's re-rebirth of 1 for PS4 spiked it back in 2018. Due to how Idea Factory never localized it. And today's whole current state of Retro gaming has kept prices stuck there ever since. I used to shill those Neptunia vita titles a lot, and Idea Factory was very consistent in offering some of PSN's cheapest sales weekly. A fair amount of free DLC, and if you're into discovering some neat franchises give 'em a try. That's how I even discovered Trails of Cold steel. They literally had company self insert characters like Falcom, Cave, MAGES, and Sega(Sega Hard Girls collab was born off this). Probably the most chill RPG franchise I've played and proudly own a few Purple & Black Heart scales for. If you want my recommendation on which to at least invest going after. Sega Hard Girls, Hyperdevotion, and Re:birth 3 are up there for sure.
Oh cool, I'll need to look into those! The Neptunia games always looked like a fun time. I saw the first rebirth game got a PS5 remaster (I think it's Neptunia Reverse) so if they start to do more of those I may try to snag those games over on there eventually.
@@orbalology The Ps4 titles are still pretty affordable. Which for those I recommend VII(Not R) & Goddesses Online. I can see them porting the trilogy again given we're getting Nepgear's lead entry soon. I'm looking forward to seeing how that rebirth goes. Given it looks like a new experience. Anyway if you see the previously mentioned titles for say under $40 pre-owned. I'd snag em.
Hi Emily! thanks for sharing! i got a vita recently mostly to play psOne classics i had bought on ps3 years back. most of these games are unknown to me, but Vita has become too expensive! 😱
It's become so expensive 😭 I find myself spending a lot of time searching for 'deals' but it's all still rather pricey. But the Vita is a great system for the PS1 classic games! The screen & size is really perfect for those games.
Persona 4 Golden is the reason I bought a vita back in the day. I personally like it more than persona 5. If you haven't played it, you won't be disappointed.
You think Vita games will be worth anything? I suppose they could gain some value like the dreamcast but I'm not sure. I still have my Vita but I'm itching to jailbreak it...maybe I'll just buy a pocket emulator. The struggle is real
I think Vita games will continue to be popular to collect especially since many of the games didn't see a wide distribution. But jailbreaking a Vita is a good option too, you may want to consider importing a cheap one from Japan for that :)
Otome is a genre of Japanese visual novels that are traditionally targeted towards females. Games in this genre vary, from very dark organized crime based to fluffy romcoms, often following a female protagonist that engages with different characters for each route. Just like any VN they tend to vary in quality & writing but I find most entertaining.
Get out while you can, I am going for a full North America Vita set (I have 221 of the 317 games and a total 254 vita games). Its been a long 4-5 year slog, I am trying to finish in the next 2 years buying 1 a week
@@orbalology I only have a couple left that will make my wallet cry, Ar Nosurge being the big one (I just got Breach & Clear and its the most I have ever spent on a game). I have a handful at or over the $100 level like Senran Kagura Bon Apettit. Vast majority of what i have left is in the $40-60 range
TOKYO XANADU!!!! (Falcoms forgotten gem) Get it while it's cheap(er). More and more people are getting into the Vita, and more and more are getting into Falcom. (ok, I wrote that comment, then I looked up the price before posting. It is no longer cheap, It can be had [used very good] from Amazon for $50, but that's the best I've seen. PS4 brand new is like $25) The game play is a mix between Cold Steel and YS Celceta. On that note, Ys:Memories of Celceta! $50ish
Oh I have both Tokyo Xandu & Memories of Celceta for the PS4. Though I've been considering to get them both on the Vita for that portability factor (and not rely owning them on disc only).

3. Sly Cooper Collection - A trilogy of PS2 era platformers. Unfortunately the third one is not on the cart and was a download code which has since expired. But the first two games are still quite good.
Check out this list by the fabulous VitaGamerGeorge for Japanese games with English to maybe find some cheaper versions of games (vitaparadisa.wordpress.com/the-list/)
Also in terms of Demon's Gate I'd wait as a western release is rumored, and the Asian version doesn't have English on the cart. (Idk if that matters to you or not)
I got a bit ramble-y to which I apologize ^^;;;;; but I enjoy your content and look forward to your continued success in all your collecting endeavors.
The Vita is the best handheld ever made to me. Still playing all mine 😁😁😁
been playing S;G 0 and Catherine FB on the vita and man what a great little system that you can just pick up anywhere , love the videos keep it up 😃 .
Thanks! It's really one of the best handhelds in terms of form factor & weight! Glad to hear you've been enjoying it as well :)
Somehow i just moded it and really enjoyed the vita system. Still a great handheld console. 🎉
more of a ‘novice’ jrpg fan , mostly some ‘staples’ under my belt like persona 5 and dragon quest. seems like my vita will be a great place to expand my horizons. good video !
Thanks! There are a lot of interesting Vita titles for JRPGs. Hope you can find some new favorites on there :)
No problem! Glad you found the spreadsheet useful 😊
I'm glad you found the google sheets template helpful :)
Yay PS Vita content ! #VitaMeansLife #VitaIsland
Love the Vita! haha 😄
@@orbalology Without a doubt it's my favorite gaming console 😁
Beautiful Thumbnail 😍👌
Love my vita. Awesome channel!!
Thank you! The Vita is really awesome :)
Excited about Atelier Ryza 3
Same! Glad we're getting a 3rd game :)
Oh I've heard good things about both of those. Thanks for the recs!! 😄
Great video, i also highly recommend Gravity Rush!
Nice video
Thanks! Yeah the memory card issues is why I ended up modding my first Vita. Sony made such a major misstep with the proprietary memory cards.
I have 34 Vita games in my collection and my favorites are Tearaway, Gravity Rush, Shovel Knight, Dungeon Travelers 2 and to give you one honorable mention Child of Light. :-)
Nice! I recently picked up Tearaway the other month and it really showcases all the great features the Vita has to offer :)
The Digimon games!
Really enjoying your content! You have such a great speaking voice and remind me of another person who mainly guest starred in metal Jesus rocks vids by the name of Kelsey Lewin who owns a gaming store. Sorry I just had to mention this one a vid 😁
Btw, I recommend you watch MJR, he is mainly a retro games collector but he has got decent episodes on switch and PS vita also!
So here are some of my favourite games I have on PS vita that maybe you will enjoy..
Shakedown Hawaii
Dragon's crown
Jal and Daxter trilogy
Hyper dimension Neptunia U
God eater 2
Fate extella the umbral star (I think you have this one on switch)
Uncharted golden abyss
Child of light
YS memories of celceta
..I have around 75 psv games in total.
Have you played all of the Zero Escape series? My all time favorite visual novels. Amazing story!
Not yet, it's one of my goals this year to play through the series!
I have had my og vita since it came out but I haven't played or collected games for it since then! I really want to pick them up in stores I don't have enough B&M stores that stock them. do you primarily buy online or in store? great channel btw, just subbed!
I unfortunately don't have many local options so I buy basically all my games online.
The Vita is such a great handheld even today, I just wish it got more love from developers. Some of my favorite games on it were Gravity Rush, Uncharted, Tearaway & Mortal Kombat. The Vita is also a great device for emulators.
Agreed! It has a great library and it's been my favorite system to mod so far :)
Really nice collection💞🇺🇸
Thank you!! 😄
Vita collecting now is way expensive. I'm lucky in that most of my collect I got when things came out or shortly afterwards. Granted, it's not a large collection but at least it's something.
It's really become rather pricey. I'm not sure if I'll feasibly be able to all the games currently on my list. I'll just wish that some of these titles eventually get Switch ports or something 😅
the vita is the best ❤
I came here with time machine. Two questions: 1) What place you use to buy Vita memory cards? 2) What size of Vita memory card you are using?
I've had to import my Vita memory card from Japan for my unmodded system. I plan to just play physical games on that system so I went with a 8GB.
I always thought the PS TV was a neat concept and way ahead of it's time, it's great you were able to snag one! The prices are pretty crazy now.
I'd get the vita games aswell I think it will only go up in price past this point. Now is a perfect time
Yup, I can only see the prices going up from here 😅
A new location! Lol but I wish I had gotten into the Vita there so expensive now in days and the games I don’t have any recommendations sadly
JRPG tax is the perfect way to describe how expensive collecting can be
I’m going to attempt the trail games I want to see what the hype it’s just hard to know what game to start with
Hehe yup I filmed late afternoon yesterday and this seemed to be the best setup on the side of my work desk lol 😂
For Trails I would highly recommend starting in chronological order with Trials in the Sky FC! You can play them on Steam if you don't want to go the hacked Vita route. They are quite the time commitment and very slow burn, but well worth it imo :)
Uncharted is amazing on vita !
So many hidden gems on the PS Vita
There are! Lots of interesting titles for all different genres.
Over 90 dolars for Odin Sphere...
Waoh now I feel very lucky on getting that one at 40!
But yah, that game is an obligation on any JRP collector.
I'm determined to get it one of these days!! 😂
Nice 👍🏾
You can mod the ppsvita. Its worth it !
My favorite console even though I have Ps5 and series X
It's a great handheld console! I prefer handhelds over the larger ones any day too :)
Hi Emily! thanks for sharing! i got a vita recently mostly to play psOne classics i had bought on ps3 years back. most of these games are unknown to me, but Vita has become too expensive! 😱
It's become so expensive 😭 I find myself spending a lot of time searching for 'deals' but it's all still rather pricey. But the Vita is a great system for the PS1 classic games! The screen & size is really perfect for those games.
Vita games have been really coming down in price. I don't own many games, but maybe it's now time to finally jump on it.
ooohhff! its hard to collect for the vita. everything is expensive! luckily i have most of what wanted to get
Ugh it's getting really expensive 😭 Glad you were able to get a majority of what you wanted.
Persona 4 Golden is the reason I bought a vita back in the day. I personally like it more than persona 5. If you haven't played it, you won't be disappointed.
I'm looking forward to it, it's the next one queued up on my vita 😄
You think Vita games will be worth anything? I suppose they could gain some value like the dreamcast but I'm not sure. I still have my Vita but I'm itching to jailbreak it...maybe I'll just buy a pocket emulator. The struggle is real
Also Stein's gate?....chefs kiss
I think Vita games will continue to be popular to collect especially since many of the games didn't see a wide distribution. But jailbreaking a Vita is a good option too, you may want to consider importing a cheap one from Japan for that :)
te amo
We’re you can removed buy a ps vita games and consoles
In the genre column you have "otome." What is this?
Otome is a genre of Japanese visual novels that are traditionally targeted towards females. Games in this genre vary, from very dark organized crime based to fluffy romcoms, often following a female protagonist that engages with different characters for each route. Just like any VN they tend to vary in quality & writing but I find most entertaining.
@@orbalology Thanks
Get out while you can, I am going for a full North America Vita set (I have 221 of the 317 games and a total 254 vita games). Its been a long 4-5 year slog, I am trying to finish in the next 2 years buying 1 a week
Best of luck with your Vita goals. Thankfully I just have a short list of titles I want to pick up that I think will be manageable. But we'll see 😅
@@orbalology I only have a couple left that will make my wallet cry, Ar Nosurge being the big one (I just got Breach & Clear and its the most I have ever spent on a game). I have a handful at or over the $100 level like Senran Kagura Bon Apettit. Vast majority of what i have left is in the $40-60 range
Are you actually going to play all of those games or are you just doing it to say you have the full set? Goodluck
Sorry to ask, but what's wrong with your hair? 😊
What’s wrong with you?
