Thank you so much, Dena! Courage not required. You just do it! If it doesn't work out the first time, you fix it or you start over. No harm in trying

Thank you so much, Chrissy!
Love this one, Jane!!!
Thank you so much, Ruth!
Jane, I really like the way you explain things.
It is so much easier to understand than some of the others on utube. I think some of them talk to much with the other person helping in their studio.
Thank you, Shirley
Painting with Jane Can I make a small suggestion? would you be able to insert the original picture in the upper left hand corner, above your paints?
Beautiful music!...beautiful voice!...beautiful strokes!....and beautiful painting!...thanks you so much :)
Thank you so much, Helene! ♥
hi Jane...i really LOVE this!! Kiss from the Netherlands xxxooxxx

You speak Spanish as well, Jane? Woman of multiple talents. ❤️👩🎨💃🏻👠
Un poco ;)
Un poco es mejor que nada.😱
¡Convenido! Y lo que no sé, Google lo sabe;)
👍
Wow...I haven't done some of your videos in a while...but this one says....OMG BEAUTIFUL
Thank you, Lola!
Painting with Jane let me rephrase that....lol
I have not had TIME to do any videos (you know I 💚 them all)
But this one is a beaut!
lol! Thank you, friend ♥
Painting with Jane 💙
It’s an awesome painting.
Your zen pond was the first ever painting I did. I have a small suggestion if you do not mistake me. I felt the part of the vase above the handle was flat. It doesn’t give that curved shape. If the strokes of painting were curved could it have helped??
Anyways you are a great teacher and love to paint this soon.
Wonderful still life! Looking forward to doing this. Your
glass palette is lovely, however, I do miss the closeups of the paint being mixed, which allowed one to see the subtle nuances when you used a paper plate...😊😊🎨🎨
I know I'm behind, but I'm watching you my friend.. this is going to be fantastic as always!
Thank you so much for this Jane. I needed it. Reminded me bucket from 30 Day of art
Thank you so much, friend! Mr. Moon says hi back!
Painting with Jane 💜
This is soooo cool!! The shadows are just stunning. We'll see how mine turns out :D
Thank you, Sherrell!
how did it turn out??
Hi Jane,
I love your tutorials. Can you please do a tutorial on Acrylic pour painting for beginners?
Thanks
I have never painted in my life (I'm 54) , but I've always wanted to be able to paint. I figured it was a lost cause because I can barely draw a stick figure---but I saw her poppy video and I'm actually going to try. Doing other "artsy" crafts and what not---I usually fail dismally, but I'm going to try at least because I LOVE that poppy drawing THIS drawing however, fun to watch...........but NO WAY would I attempt this !!
Jane thank you so much for this beautiful painting. Can you also paint a big flower.
Thank you, Yasmin! Maybe so!
Jane girl....this one was hard ❤🎨 but I loved it
lol, yes, it's a little more on the challenging side. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though!
Hi Jane, I absolutely love this painting and as always you explain every steps very nicely. Now i am having a crazy idea of doing it on 36x24 inch canvas..what do you think..am i being too crazy??
Ooooh, I think that sounds awesome! Not crazy at all! Just use larger brushes and make sure you've got the time :D
Jane, just need to see the picture of the vase while you are painting it would be helpful for me to refer to. Thank you.
i will try tomorrow..tonight its movietime with my bf and daughter..we are going to see 50 shades Freed....but thank you sooooo much for your answer xxxx
Sounds like fun!! :D
Hi Jane. This is beautiful. I would like to try it with a purple vase and yellow flowers. Do you think that would look good?
I think that would be lovely! Make sure the purple of your vase is a little on the grey side so the yellow flowers can pop! :D
😲
Hola como vas
Que fácil dibujar con ese método
Gracias. Bendiciones
Muchas gracias, Esther!
I like your still life paintings. I have a question. Wouldn't be easier to do part of the background first in order not to face an issue with the flowers?
Thank you, Katerina! I do go over that in the video, but no, I think it's much easier to do the flowers. The background is easy. The flowers are harder. Painting the background after the flowers ensures I can control the shape of the flowers and make adjustments to them.
Thank you Jane for your answer.
Sorry Jane for the question, you explained this in the video, I just had the fear that the background will ruin my flowers edges
Never be sorry for asking questions!! I think it's quite the contrary. Especially since I wasn't making flower edges with that first color. Painting the background after helped me define them better :)
How is Mr.Moon?? i am painting a cat but have some difficulty with her fur..which brush is best to use?? XOXO
Mr. Moon is still his noisy, cute, spiky self, lol. He says "Hi!!" As far as what brush to use, it really depends on the look you're going for and what you're most comfortable with. Experiment with lots of different brushes (on a junk canvas, of course, not on your painting) and see what you like the best. There's really no right or wrong answer!
This is beautiful. I love her videos, and try to paint once or twice a month. But for whatever reason, I am missing something basic. I cannot seem to get my paint to glide enough and cover equally, even with my brush loaded up. I've tried using no gesso, or I gesso, then gesso several layers, sanding, tried wetting my canvas, use better paint, use gloss or matte mediums, dry brush, wet brush... all the same. I'll use different pressure with my brushes. The canvas will not take paint equally and am left with either parochial smudges or scubbing strokes to get paint into the low points in the canvas or I have so much paint caked on it's ridiculous and even then pin points of canvas are showing. Can only regularily afford level 1 canvas from Michaels. Help!
I wish you had the picture you are painting showing on the screen.
Hey Jane i am glad you feel better.. did you check your instagram? I painted this one and posted very early :)hope you will share
I want to understand underpainting more. I notice that the underpaint can be a very different color than the next layer and I am confused as how to pick the color for the underpainting.
I wish youtube had better rewind and fast forward controls.
What time do you post new video s each week?
admirably, however as always.
I enjoyed this but did berate you under my breath a few times. Would of been nice to have the photo present to refer to thru the video. Would of fit perfectly above your pallet of paints! 😬🤪
Jane I love you and have been following you for a long time now. I love everything you do and how you do it. But recently I've noticed your video's are getting pretty long. When I first started painting with you, your video's were around 30 minutes give or take. Lately most of them are over an hour and this one is almost 2 hours. Is there any way you can get back to under an hour? Maybe 55 minutes or less. LOL
lol, I don't try to make them long, it just happens ;) I still do shorter ones sometimes, though :D
Happy st Valentine's day Jane :) Pain us a big juicy heart xx
