These look like a lot of fun! I love how you are so consistent with making sure that there is a lot of writing space. In my mind, that's the whole point of having a journal. Not only are these super cute, they are wonderfully useful.
I love this unusual idea💓& while I was watching, I suddenly thought, how cool it would be to turn the journal downwards. So that it was literally a waterfall shape, with the pages flipping upwards, rather than side to side. Thanks for yet another inspiring, fun tutorial Natasha 😄
Once again, you show so much in such a concise time!! I can watch and learn without fast forwarding thru you searching for items, watching you sew... All the time/data waste many videos contain!!! I've watched almost every video you've posted at least once!! From those of us that only watch via our phone, thousands of thanks!!!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Natasia, these journals are fabulous. I just love your creativity, almost as much as I love you for being you. For you are truly a breath of inspiration. Thank you for your time, for time is precious and priceless.
This was such a fun video and so much easier than I thought it would be. You’re a great teacher and explain your steps throughly. I created along with you so now I’m going to embellish ❤ Thanks so much Natasha have a great evening ❤
WOW! You constantly amaze me! I don't know what to say anymore. Your creativity is like no other's... seriously. This waterfall journal is WONDERFUL! It is happy, cute, makes me SMILE! Just love it! You sure didn't seem out of your comfort zone!🙂 Do you ever get headaches from ALL the ideas, creative thoughts and things you think up?😘 YOU are the JOURNAL QUEEN, you truly are. No one comes close to you, seriously. Thank you so much for teaching this I'm going to have to rewatch and pay attention this time because my eyes were ALL over the place!!
Oh my!! Just let me get this Christmas put up and I am going to be crafting!! You gave me back my mojo that I had lost during this pain of a horrible 2024! So glad I rediscovered you. Happy 2025!
These are all just gorgeous, Natasha! The one that you feel is outside your comfort zone is amazing the way you've finished all the pages. It's just delightful! This is another great project!
Im really impressed and blown away by your talent for arranging and combining papers. If I had seen one of the busier papers in a shop, I would have never thought that I would like them. But the way you always know when to tone something down and when to leave it the way it is ... Amazing!! And such a brilliant idea!! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!!!!
This looks like so much fun. I'm going to do the 2 six by six for my 2 granddaughters for Easter. They will love it . My nine year old granddaughter will especially love it I've been making her journals for some time now and slip her some birthday money or Christmas money. She has even made her own journal while we were face timing but of course she just used a rubber band to bind it together. Thanks Natasha for inspiration. Sending love and big hugs Sherry 💜💜💜🦋🦋
So do you think a nine year old can't be taught to sew? I've taught countless preschoolers to sew . Just wondering about your using the phrase "of course"
@@claudiacooper1934 Pre-schoolers? That's pretty dangerous isn't it. I thought using a rubber band was cute. Back in my day at school sewing was an option around 11 & 12 years of age.
I don't have a particular problem with the fact that your grandaughter used a rubber band to bind her journal; in fact I think it was a very creative move on her part. What concerns me is your limited ideas of her potential. Yes, I have taught preschoolers to sew and no, it is not dangerous. I punch holes in a piece of cardboard and have them use a large plastic needle. We thread the needle with a colorful yarn and they learn to move it in and out of the holes. Once they have this basic concept they can then depending on their readiness move to things which require more dexterity What concerns me is that you are unaware of the potential of young children but I will say that you are not alone unfortunately. Typically in this country educators wait to teach foreign languages when students are in high school or perhaps junior high. My experience as well as a lot of research shows that children are most ready to leanr another language at a young age. So many countries are aware of this and have citizens who are bilingual and m ore as adults because they have had early training.
Beautiful but so easy. I feel so excited watching your videos and I start soon after watching. I’ve been too occupied with too many things last months so I cannot make aything except samples of your journals. Last time I took a lot of beautiful envelopes from my stash and I hope I can make a journal with them as soon as possible. I’ve travelled a lot and stayed in nice hotels where it was difficult to leave those beautiful envelopes and letter paper. Finally I can use them. Thank you very much for your good tutorials which are short but tell a lot.
Oh Natasa ! How can you asked yourself for just one minute if you had "ruined something" while you are crafeting ?? ! EVERYTHING you do is simply gorgeous, and you are ALWAYS able to turn unpredictable "boo-boo" into such awesome opportunities !!! 🤩 Thanks for the tips on how to deal with them, you are a wonderful teacher for us 😘
So fun, so creative! Once again you have shared with us such wonderful creative ideas! Thank you so much! Absolutely love your videos and your creative talents! 👍✌️❤️
LOVE how organised you are! It spoils me for other videos where people spend time searching for stuff, or don't know where they're going. Yet you can incorporate the unexpected, or follow the spur of the moment - just perfect. This video generates so many ideas - it's going straight on my "inspiration" playlist, and I'll come back many times. Thank you.
What a super simple, but very effective idea. My young nieces would love the brightly coloured ones. The clouds on one of the papers would make great speech bubble spots too. Have a stash of papers ready to go as have been playing with dying them, got a bit carried away 'splash + flicking' stuff at them and also have a rather pretty T-shirt to match now 😳😂😂😂 So many new ideas now, some many things to try, just don't know where to start??? Maybe clearing a space to work on might be a good idea lol. Have a fun day Natasia and thanks again for a splendid tutorial. Luv n hugs from Victoria xxx😘👍👏🏼🇬🇧😘
What a terrific way to make a journal. Love how you have done the pages. The best thing is that you actually do not use any tools at all, except for the sewing machine!! Geez, I'd be getting my scoreboard out and making sure I had the right distance between the pages and everything. Think I'll let my scoreboard take a break and make a couple of these for 2 little girls I know that would enjoy writing & inserting "stuff" into it. Be well, be safe & TYFS
This journal is just inspiring. I love that it is different than anything I’ve seen. I’ll be making my granddaughter one for Easter. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Gorgeous journals, I have made them in the past using file folders with lots of lace and yumminess. I very much enjoyed watching this tutorial thank you! ❤️🌹🙏
I made a cascading journal once, but it was so complicated I never made another one! Thank you for this much easier version!! I love it! Can’t wait to get started. Your tutorials are always clear and easy to follow.
These are fun! And beautiful! Love the exposed edge, torn and inked would look awesome too, but I really love lace and ribbon. You have such wonderful ideas thank you for always sharing and inspiring and giving such detailed instructions. 💞💕💞💕
I’ve recently discovered cascading waterfall junk journals and want to make one. I don’t think I’d have figured out the folding on my own. Your tutorials are SO good. Thank you once again! ❤️ Shirley
These are gorgeous. Your tutorial was very easy to follow and I can’t wait to try these. They are a little bit less daunting than a large journal with a hard cover, in the style of page steps looks so cool. Thank you. And PS. I love your voice and diction. You sound just adorable.
Oh my. How is it possible that every video I watch of yours makes me so happy and inspired to replicate your ideas. Your work is so beautiful and you are so charming. Thank-you once again for being the best part of my day!!!
Easy, fun and so pretty. Love them all but the black with the music notes and the butterfly is my favorite and the one with the lace and doilies, so pretty!
What an ambitious project! I love them all so much. I adore your finished journal with all the sewing and pockets. The papers are delightful. Good job!!!❤
Absolutely gorgeous how they cascade and the amount of work and yumminess you fill them up with like your tea dyed papers and flips , tucks , and pockets .🤗😍 sooo gorgeous Natasa !!! Tfs 🥰
