you dont know what you are talking
the brakes u mentioned are great options but in no relation, like the m200 is a low end 2 piston brake which is not bad but nothing compared to the mt7 pro, thats like comparing sr suntour to fox factory
Was würdest für mich empfehlen?
@@AlexanderZharko Hängt davon ab wie du fährst, fährst du relativ agressiv oder eher entspannter. Bei einem agressiveren fahren würde ich eine Saint empfehlen.
hi, i have magura mt trail double piston brakes and i was using avid 180 hayes 203 as disc. I bought a shimano xtr rt mt 905 ice tech disc, but my brakes aren't holding the way they used to. Should I use organic or metallic? Which one do you think is not compatible?
M200 doesn't belong to this list. Shimano XT and SLX are basically the same thing. Marginal difference.
Ommision of brands such as TRP, HAYES, FORMULA is unforgivable.
Growing up riding with Maguras, I still have problems getting used to the Code´s spongy feel. They are powerful, yes, but the way the force is modulated is odd for me.
I use the he-100 and with ceramic pads I’m happy with them for street/ commuting!
Do you recommend me the slx 4 pistones for enduro?
Trying to decide between SRAM CODE RSC, G2 Ultimate or magura MT7 HC3. I ride hard and ride Enduro/DH Mostly but also ride Trail and FR all on my Enduro Bike. So I am looking to find the best brakes & make a one time buy. Sadly My Fav brakes the TRP EVO-DH-r, but I have a gift card to backcountry & competitive Cyclist for $500 and Can't get the TRP, so I need to make a decision asap. can anyone help me. my G2 R's that came on my bike are spongey and I don't like them. I need to upgrade. Help!
Get Hope tech 4 v 4 dual Best stopping power I’ve experienced. I ride all mountain and weigh 220lb so when I get moving I rely on stopping power and I like the Hope over sram and shimano
Mt7 all day
Sram codes are crap and hope are overpriced show pieces. Best brakes are Formula Cura. They use the 2 piston in downhill bikes but you can also get the 4 pistons.
@@gbuzztard ya, ain’t that the truth! Codes are hot garbage. I’m done beating around the bush, I’m probably putting saints on my enduro.
you show the hope tech 3 in your vid not the tech4. Plus the bleedprocess is shown wrong dueto your cutting work.
Why the Saint are not on your top ?
I disagree hard😅 Im on 8120`s now, ive bled and bled and bled, but i just cant get them as good as my old G2 ultimates. Sure they are very good, but i just cant feel the same power/bite in them as i did with the G2`s. Both with metal pads in dry conditions and with the brake rotors (new and same size) from shimano/sram XT ice/Centerline
After about 3 years the last Keurig stopped working ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf initially was able to unblock, however eventually we couldn't fix. That one was a replacement unit sent by the manufacturer after we had problems with our very first Keurig. This works fine (lol, at least for now) however I didn't realize the water reservoir was so much smaller than our prior unit. With 2 people having one or two cups of coffee each morning, it seems like I'm refilling it daily. Otherwise just happy to have the convenience of pod coffee vs. making a morning pot.
Best MTB brakes are hands down the trickstuff maxima brakes! If you can afford them, I sure can't
I have them on my Pivot Firebird and i love them. Had Sram Code RSC and Shimano XTR and testet Magura MT 7 and Hope at my friends bike. Trickstuff is amazing
They look good
Then how do you know?
Best brakes for bang for buck for the sheer power & modulation is Shigura.. ;) Trickstuff power for cheaper than SRAM Code..
Shimano in my opinion are more poppy compared to sram where sram is more spongy. Shimano levers in my opinion are very comfortable and effective for my small hands. Shimano saints and sram code rsc’s are also very great brakes for trail, enduro and downhill
TRP?
The First Brake is a Hybrid by the way :D
X-spark?
Magura doesn’t have modulation? Lol
M200 best bang for the buck
Can't believe there are no Trickstuff Maxima or Direttissima at this Ranking
Can't belive no Hayes Dominion in here, too.....
cause this guy doesnt know what he is talking about. He just rumbles words like "quiet functionality" "easier acessibility" " remarkable durability". Dunno why I even clicked on the channel and even commented at that
Tickstuff is a prestige / boutique brake . most people that use them are pro sponsored riders or rich sport riders or poor people that get divorced when their wife finds out how much they cost .
And where is Formula Cura? These are really great.
Smh the first thing u get recommend is the CNC hydraulic MTB disk break set. Shows a picture of said break and it's a cable single piston break, which, from my experience working in a bike shop, are the worst breaks to be put on any bike would rather v brakes then those and they are not suitable for MTB 🤣 would still choose them over single piston cable breaks
We appreciate your opinion and would like to have any recommendations from your side.
I prefer formula cura 4 beast of a brake
Price???
Wht aren't grip twist brakes a thing?
Can you explain your point?
@pickadviser brakes that work like grip shifters. Like twisting a throttle but connected to the brakes instead of gears. I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia, the brake lever hurts me more than any other operation of the bike. I feel like I wanna replace brake levers with grip actuated brakes. But who knows? Maybe it would be even more stress. I'm just brainstorm daydreaming. I ride an Ebike in city traffic to deliver food.
@@BadManWithAMadPlan For city riding, you could probably get away with the twist grip concept but, for more “spirited” riding (trail, enduro, downhill), not so much. In such disciplines, you generally always have at least your index finger always covering the brake lever for quicker access (quick stopping and brake assisted turns) and brake modulation. So, having twist grip brake actuation on rough or undulating terrain would generate twisting forces between the grips and palms while the bike reacts to the undulations under you which would result in inconsistent/unintentional brakeforce application.
Trick stuff brakes for the win.
Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback.
Number 6 is a cable disk brake not hydraulic
Thanks for catching that detail! Your keen observation is much appreciated. Accurate information is crucial, and your input helps maintain the integrity of the content. If you have any more insights or thoughts to share, feel free to let me know. It's all about ensuring everyone has the right info!
Formula Cura 2 and Cura 4 the best .
guide re?
Can you explain your point?
@@pickadviser cheap, powerful, code calipers
@@pickadviser LOL giving advice on brakes yet you cant even recognize one thats more well known than CNC. The irony
Where are the German trickstuff brakes?
Good catch! Trickstuff brakes are definitely worth mentioning in any brake discussion. Their precision and German engineering are top-notch. What's your take on Trickstuff brakes? Any specific model you think stands out? Let's keep the conversation rolling!
@@pickadviser MAXIMA please. With 223mm Downhill Discs. Perfect.
these type of lists have become as meaningless as which is the best MTB or E MTB.
the market is flooded with super high quality brakes and bikes to the extent that the greatest difference is usually in color choice.😂
Weekend voyeur?
The first wasn't hydraulics
The first is more of a hybrid, the levers are cable but the caliper has a small hydraulic piston in it.
Sounds AI generated
3:07, as a mountain biker i can confirm that three finger brakes are 10 times better than one finger
Where do you mountainbike at? Ur local 10 m hill? Its a fact that you need 4 fingers on the grips when terrain actually gets rough
@@JD-cc2qu nah bro if I'm on the downhill I'll take the hands off and fist the brakes as hard as possible
is this a filipino YT channel voiceovered by foreign? hahaha
Probably written and voiced by AI, zero knowledge and evaluation involved.
U don't ride if u think xt has more power then hope tech 4 ur nuts
I can see you're passionate about your brakes! The power debate between XT and Hope Tech 4 is real. It's always interesting to hear different perspectives. What's your experience been like with Hope Tech 4? I'm curious to hear more about your thoughts on braking power!
hb 100s are the worst ever waste of time and money
This is such a laughable "definitive" review.. The cable pull brakes mentioned are for gravel bikes, you would never actually use them for MTB, theyre litterally designed for drop bar bikes with cable levers.. then showing Shimano MT200 & following it with Magura MT7, like comparing a Trek Marlin to a Canyon Sender.. But most hillarious was your statement that MT7s arent suitable for Downhill while you litterally used a Loic Bruni lever haha! The same lever for the same legend DH racer that uses the same brake, that is litterally DESIGNED FOR DOWNHILL USE..!! The "Trail" bit in the MT "Trail" name signifies it's purpose as a TRAIL brake.. On some downhill descents you would litterally lose braking power using a 2 piston trail brake.. All this, & not mentioning even SRAM Code Rs, let alone Hayes Dominion, TRP Evo, or Trickstuff Maxima, shows you dont actually know diddly squat about the subject.. Atleast it gets you ad revenue though.. Or maybe thats the point, say some complete bollocks that you know is complete bollocks, to generate engagement, & increase views & ad revenue.. Well played sir if so.. ;)
These brakes suck😮
everything is trash
The first one is not even hydraulic🫠☠️💀 you dont know what you're talking about, trying to get money from redirecting links....... Bad job.
