I've never seen footage of this game before, and now I'm wondering how much of Luna Nights was inspired by it. Then again, I've seen very little Castlevania gameplay, so for all I know the similar elements between the two Touhou titles are both taken from there.
Oh you might have played CV3 in its NTSC release but know that the japanese release of it is quite different, to a point where you would say that the NTSC version is like 1,5x harder, enemies have more health, Grant is way less useful and so forth in that version compared to the original intension of CV3. Also CV3 in it's japanese release has an enhanced OST availible, but because NoA didn't allow for some cartridges to have some extra space for production they had to cut down some stuff like mentioned soundtrack.
