Great video, man! It's good to mention that a kingsize bed will probably never fit in a condo downtown Vancouver, they are just not made for a kingsize bed whatsoever. Maybe a queen size if you're lucky!
Your content is great. I was watching an extended video of the walkway along the Frasier River in New West. Lots of three and four stories river front living units, along with some high rise buildings. It looks like a stylized European community. Lots of fountains. Have you done any videos on this area? I'm trying to get an idea on cost (rent?). Thank you.
I pay 1,695 for a studio downtown. But tbh, I'm a major introvert, not a fan of shopping or spending money on anything except travelling and I don't have a car or any other major expenses. So I think it depends on your lifestyle and preferences. If I spend most of my free time at home and not going out to parties/bars, then I think it's worth it to spend more on rent if it means I'm getting a nicer place.
Your apartment is nice good for one person 👍🏻 please make a video which are best places to live in Vancouver for single girls and can be even sharing with one or two people.
I live in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, here condos are heavens. You can find a great affordable condo 3-bedrooms at around $300 USD monthly with great clean swimming pool, big gym, with football and tennis courts as well as great security. The more the rental, the more luxurious the condo will be. But all condos got same facilities. From my point of view, here condos are more nice looking and newer compared to apartments. I am planning to move to Canada so I am watching such videos to know more about how condos or apartments look like there ... Great video bro .... keep up the awesome work plz ... I subscribed to your awesome channel
I don't know if it's because I live in London and the prices here are also outrageous but I do find it ""slightly"" cheaper than in Central London. It is of course super expensive for 1 bed, but here in London, you would be looking at 2500GBP for 1 BED apartment ( $4321CAD).
Thanks for all of your Metro Vancouver content Adam. I'm moving to Vancouver from Toronto as a young professional for work, and trying to find a place in the city as been quite the experience. I'm basically looking for a 2 bedroom place (well, bed+office) and my budget is 2,000. I'm willing to move as east as Surrey and as south as Richmond. Am I being unrealistic?
That is NOT unrealistic. You can find 2 bedroom apartments for around $2000 but it will not be super easy. The reason this apartment in the video is so expensive is because the building is very new, and is in a more expensive area within downtown.
I love the apartment. It is pricey but I understand this is downtown Vancouver. I do love the glass bottom pool. Must be crazy swimming in it and looking down 20 stories. We need a video of you in that pool sometime when things get back to normal!!
Dude your apartment is beautiful ! Did you ever post a vid/pictures of it right after you moved in? I’d like to get an idea of what these apartments look like in their most basic form, like without decoration and furniture 🧐 great channel btw new sub 🙏🏾
Hey! We just moved to Vancouver and are looking for a more permanent place downtown. We noticed that the windows don't do a great job of filtering outside noises (we're currently staying at a short-term rental apartment downtown), and we're wondering how loud it gets in that vicinity when there are events (BC Place, Rogers Arena) going on? We're considering both the ARC and One Pacific, as well as the nearby Regiment Square. Thanks! P.S. Thank you for mentioning about the shared amenities. That's definitely a plus!
Great Questions, I'll try to answer them all here. The newer buildings and their windows mask outside noise pretty well in my opinion. I barely heard anything besides sirens once in a while (which you can't escape lol). And when there are events going on, I never actually could hear a difference between a night with an event, and a night without one. If you've got any extra questions I always respond on Instagram in case I don't see it here! @a.grizz
I like the city, and I also have future plans with my UA-cam channel that revolve around city life/ Vancouver. I think later in life I'll move somewhere else, but there are more opportunities for a UA-cam channel and business in general in the city, than if were somewhere else/ somewhere less expensive. The price is tough, but if I enjoy what I'm doing, it's worth it !
Hello, I have a weird Question : how much does a Network Support or Network Administrator got per Month / Salary, so he can pay a rent that cost minimum 1500$ a month ? because a a new immigrant and have a 10 years experience in Networking i would love to know about the average monthly salary with tax you pay through the month, and Thank You
Hey thanks for watching. I don’t know the average pay for someone in networking here. But what’s are lower here than in most of Canada. But your experience of 10 years should help you quite a bit. Just from my personal guess I would assume that you will be able to get a job that will allow you to pay $1500 in rent 👍
I feel privileged here in South Africa, a similar apartment will cost you 8000 rands which is about 700 Canadian dollars. For $2200 I would get a 4 bedroomed house.
Hey Adam! I'm from India and I aspire to live in Vancouver. I have a question, do these places come fully furnished? Your videos are very lovely and insightful! Keep doing what you're doing :)👍🏼
Glad the content helps! Some places come furnished, and some don't. They will tell you in the description of each post. I would say that most places do not come furnished, but it is possible to find fully furnished places. I currently live in a furnished place.
ummm... safest? just a year ago.. three people got stabbed to death within less than 100m radius.. that infinity pool... someone jumped off to commit suicide.. yes it's much safer than few years ago after they cleaned up and built new businesses etc, but it isn't the safest area in Vancouver that's for sure.
Just moved to the province from Calgary, informative!! New here!! Stay safe and blessed 👍🙏
Awesome. Vancouver is the most beautiful City in the world! Unfortunately my holidays were cancelled this year. Best regards from Germany.
Your soothing voice coupled with the stunning videography makes your channel so perfect for binge watching 😌😌🙌
I'm glad I can provide that! I really appreciate the support :D

I pay 1000 for a bachelor loft apartment in an old house in Hamilton, ON . It’s hard to save money and enjoy good living anywhere in canada
$2,200 for only 500 sq ft? that's insane! a nice modern apartment, but insane.
I don't disagree! haha
Nice video! Apartment is beautiful. I live in the country in Georgia. Love watching videos filmed in large cities.
Glad you thought so! Before I lived in the city I would watch as many videos as I could of the city, I understand what you are saying 👍

Wow! Very nice! I mean living by yourself and not with your family/in-laws😁 which is what we are doing! Keep killin it!

I only rent from hotels equipped with handsome gentlemen
Ah of course, I may know of one 😂

Didn't realize how expensive apartments were in Canada yo! They're only around $900-$1000 in Texas!
Yessir! Vancouver and Toronto are both hella expensive. Not everywhere is like this though !
Wow - must have been suite neighbours before I moved to TO! love this area
