Dani needs to draw the outline of the tool on the wood so you remember where it goes. My father in laws old garage had that and when I took a tool I had to returned it to it’s proper spot. He also knew when something was missing!
Nice repairs today Dan, you're getting good at shrinking the metal to make your shapes. What I like about you is you want it to function properly and be solid with no rot. Appearance is secondary, which is fine once the rot is fixed. Good work.
Holy cows 🐄 on a fence. Tools hanging up organized. Clean shop and organized. Tools on the cart. Are we in a alternate universe right now? If in the next few episodes I see tags above the Tools saying what goes in that spot, I will probably faint. Wow. Next thing there will be a tri five chevy with a 100 % restoration of concourse caliber sitting in the middle bay with Dan's name on the title. Everyone now needs to save up all there beer boxes and mail them to Dan. I figured there's got to be more beer drinkers in Canada than in the states. Your winters are longer so you get to drink more in the garage.😂
Dan it would be a good idea to put that allen socket in the glove bos for when you have a flat along the road. Would really piss ya off to have a spare and no wrench to get the hub cap off
Hi Kids. If it's gonna be CHUGLING, put a Inline 6 250 in it. They are a Great motor. Low maintenance, decent power and torque. It will keep you CHUGLING along. And Dan, you can do a little HOT RODDIN on a 250! Thank you
I remember those Fort Knox-ish wire wheel covers. They were impossible to steal without destroying the hubcap. I never tried to steal them. Anything but Cragars or Slot Mags weren't cool to us kids.
I was gifted a Parisienne that had these exact hubcaps. Early 90's and no one knew how to take tose off and put them on even then. The car was free because no one would take it on trade and my friends wanted it gone that day..
I found that a second gen Camaro or 68- 74 Nova rearend worked out well. Had to move the spring perches, but you are talking about that anyway. Enjoying this group of videos.
Great Stuff,do you know what’s under every pony’s tail? I see my floor pan is still there. You know I just got rid of my 55 A but only cause I now have to get my 57 rolling!! You go big man y’all are very cool. The hub caps are so my granny and I like-‘em!!!!! Good day
Liked, shared and commented. @Dani !!! There’s a lever on the handle of vise grips. Pinch the handle n lever n grips pop open. No need to turn the bolt. 🍻🤴🏻🗽
I have no idea how you guys do so well, but I'm glad for ya, from Michigan, and a note, when ever you get more money and time, should order extra rail extensions, so your wheels don't slide off some day, and perhaps a round mirror on the ceiling, to see when driving up, very cool tho, I don't know how you guys make it out there in the cold cold.
AND I've notice a much higher quality of work which I appreciate, wild fire lift definitely a game changer, wish the chevelle wasn't so far away, maybe Derrick for vgg can do a can in run revival and drive it to your new digs😊
Danille, I wish my wife had your attitude about helping me when I am doing body work, or any kind of work on my cars. It even helps if you are just there to talk to while I am working. It makes the work seem like play or like I am an instructor talking to you as a student? Anyway, thanks for helping Dan any way that you can .
DDS keep up the good work, this is John from Michigan,I have been following you two from the start,I'm going in for heart surgery,if everything goes right,I'll be back following you two again, just had to say,you two are doing a good job.
Dani always asks good questions. She’s educating people who don’t have a lot of experience with cars.
Your body work is getting better and better every time you do it. Good job! 👍😎
Gotta love Friday afternoon’s at DD Speed Shop. Love the 1956 Farm Truck. Cheers!! 😊
Surprised no one is crying about the Ford Raptor hat… 🤣
Dani needs to draw the outline of the tool on the wood so you remember where it goes. My father in laws old garage had that and when I took a tool I had to returned it to it’s proper spot. He also knew when something was missing!
I think the 1st video of yours I watched was cutting a C10 down to a short bed. I have enjoyed your channel ever since.
Lookin good Bud
Great job
Another great video!

Great job getting it done, glad you were able to get the lift etc, place is looking great, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Truck is looking good.I

Once again thank you for the mic on Danni. Much better sounding to have the both of you mic'ed.
Nice patch work Dan

Nice job on the thumbnail!!! Love the content from the Netherlands.
Thumbnail is pretty trick.
Good job on that box corner!
Word of advice. Remove the ramps when the lift is off the ground. They cut foreheads really bad!
Great job on the fender
Thanks for the video you 2.
Nice job of fabricating panel and bracing for step.
Dani check to see if he has a fever cause getting organized and doing a fine job on body work. Great job
You should use some seam sealer on the box step. It would look a lot cleaner
Yup, paintable seam sealer or body caulk
He’s a jack of all trades and a master of none😊
The military green color makes the truck look cool. Cant wait to see it running and driving.
Nice work on the bed repair.
Lifts, tool carts, lighting, storage for tools...blink twice if you need help Dan!
Always fun to watch the fabrication.
The repairs on the truck bed look pretty spiffy.
Thanks
didn't take lonk to get all the metal working tools, great job mate
A 283 or a 327 and a 700r4 would be a nice combo. Nice work on the fender patch
Love what u are doing on this truck ...😊
As real as a home shop gets. Chaos, fun, parts and hot rods. 😊
Dude, you are a kickass metal worker! bravo. The motor doesn't matter, even a straight six......
looks very good
Honestly I would put a LS and 4L85E in it right away, make it super easy to drive
Yeah 5.3 is a 327 , just better built !!! Stronger longer lasting !!!
Nice body work Dan...
Send me the beer Dan I’ll mail the boxes back lol😂😂😂
Glad you are back working on the 56
It's all about that shop winch!! Installed one in my shop after seeing Dan put one in the OG shop
Hi Kids. If it's gonna be CHUGLING, put a Inline 6 250 in it. They are a Great motor. Low maintenance, decent power and torque.
It will keep you CHUGLING along. And Dan, you can do a little HOT RODDIN on a 250! Thank you
I vote for a 250 or 292 Chevy straight 6. I had a 250 in my '67 Chev pickup with a 4spd car trans and Hurst floor shift, and I loved it.
I remember those Fort Knox-ish wire wheel covers. They were impossible to steal without destroying the hubcap. I never tried to steal them. Anything but Cragars or Slot Mags weren't cool to us kids.
Cragars and slots will always be cool
great cameo in the most recent zip-ties, I see great things for your future young man!
The rear leafs have grease able bolts in the mounting bolts ...great rust repair Dan
Not a simple piece to make. Nice.
Keep up that fine craftsmanship and you’re gonna lose your reputation as a high-speed hack!
I was gifted a Parisienne that had these exact hubcaps. Early 90's and no one knew how to take tose off and put them on even then. The car was free because no one would take it on trade and my friends wanted it gone that day..
Haven't heard "chooglin" since I last listened to CCR.
Skills on display here!!! I suggest a 327, if possible, for the truck.
good job!
After seeing your back fender repair the cab back would not be hard for u. Good camera work Dani.
soda box's work too
Don't worry Dan.
A grinder and paint makes me the welder I aint.
And your welding is far superior than mine ;)
As once again, anything you can step across, I can weld across!!
I found that a second gen Camaro or 68- 74 Nova rearend worked out well. Had to move the spring perches, but you are talking about that anyway. Enjoying this group of videos.
Putting on wire hubcaps is it fun . Using the little cap in the back of a hubcap .from Gordon era of life
What an interesting vid. Thanks for sharing and may God continue to bless you.
Nice job guys
Really good job Dan If you do say so yourself. If I say so myself I think its a Bloody good job. Cheers JV
Dan, As long as you’re patch panel is stuck to the fender, A grinder makes every ugly weld just look great 😂
Looks great 👍.
Yes Sir!!!
Any chance we'll see the '68 Satellite again? You did a great job on making that car look presentable!
Looking good
Another great episode Dan and Dani. Btw, the recent thumbnails are cool too.
Lookin good...
An abrupt ending.
If you want a true chuggler, gotta go with the old straight 6.
Thanks for another , Brother !

Love it guys.
Come on Dan! When you tell someone to turn to the right it's always their right. Get it right now! Sorry I went a little left there.
'57 Chevy's ain't work benches..... but crew cab '55 Chevy's certainly are!!😂🤣
Liked, shared and commented. @Dani !!! There’s a lever on the handle of vise grips. Pinch the handle n lever n grips pop open. No need to turn the bolt. 🍻🤴🏻🗽
Dan this truck will way cool and you ll want to drive it.
Looks great
❤❤❤ love your videos awesome content😊
I know it's your car but I like the mags on 1955 belair when you first got it
I have no idea how you guys do so well, but I'm glad for ya, from Michigan, and a note, when ever you get more money and time, should order extra rail extensions, so your wheels don't slide off some day, and perhaps a round mirror on the ceiling, to see when driving up, very cool tho, I don't know how you guys make it out there in the cold cold.
Dan you are getting a lot better with metal work. Less body work now ❤❤❤❤❤
I used to hate those damn hubcaps
AND I've notice a much higher quality of work which I appreciate, wild fire lift definitely a game changer, wish the chevelle wasn't so far away, maybe Derrick for vgg can do a can in run revival and drive it to your new digs😊

I love the video thumbnail! you gotta do shirts of your cars in the same style
i smell old car every time you open the door on one of those tri5's!
I wonder how they smelled when new
Three cheers for Dani. Great moving job.
@@javierdenardo2607 melted naugahyde probably!
Nice job!👍👍
Too bad you don't have the little 283 from Winnipeg. It would work well in this truck 🇨🇦
Hey Dan&Dannie
Another great tutorial video.
Take care😊
DDS keep up the good work, this is John from Michigan,I have been following you two from the start,I'm going in for heart surgery,if everything goes right,I'll be back following you two again, just had to say,you two are doing a good job.
Did that heart thing myself, hope all goes well for you :--)
Hope everything goes well buddy ❤
Hoping all goes well sir!!
I like the dog dish caps better because the wires looks like a grandma car.
Please make it like on your green pic, looks great💯👍
Just needs a bone stock truck LS/4L60 and an explorer 8,8 rear call it done
Looking good Guys!
Find a late 70's early 80's inline 6 and put in it , ya know the one with 2 exhaust outlets in the manifold so you can still run dual exhaust on it .
