@@DanNaim400 yes there was no vowel usage except the aleph but what is certain is that by the time of aleph-bet creation "aleph" is separated from the other letters therefore the letters became:- a, be, ge, de, etc the only exception is the het letter in which you can not separate h & a so it is "ha". In Amharic language there are seven sounds for each letter in its alphabet and surprisingly the first row which is the first created letters of the alphabet reads as "ha, le, ha, me, se, re, she, qe, be, te, a, ke, we, etc. Remember we are talking about Paleo Hebrew not modern Hebrew which was recreated from Aramaic letters. Therefore the correct pronounciation of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is Yehaweha.

The apostle Peter testified: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). What name did Peter actually say?
Question: What is the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved?
Question: Did you know that the letter “J” has only officially existed in English since the 17th century? (Webster’s Dictionary, 5 ed., the tenth letter of the English alphabet, formerly a variant of the letter “I” was established in the 17th century, p. 775) Iesus (pronounced: “ee-sus”), but with the Letter J, added, it is now pronounced “gee-sus”.
Question: Did you know that in the 1611 English Version of the Bible, the name of the Savior was given as “Iesus”, and not Jesus? The name Jesus existed historically only from the 17th century!
Question: Did you know that the name “Iesus,” is by the pronunciation of “ee-sus,” and comes from the name Iesous (pronounced “ee-ay-sous”), which is a transliteration of the name “Yeshua”? Yeshua was a common Aramaic name at the time of the Savior in Judea, Samaria, and Galilee.
Question: Did you know that the apostle Paul heard the name of the Savior on the road to Damascus in Hebrew? (See Acts 26)
Question: Did you know what the apostle Paul said about the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved in that the name had the name (YAH) which is above every name? What is the name which is above every name? (See Philippians 2:9)
Question: Did you know that Moses asked for God’s name? In Exodus 3:13-15, God answered, “HAYAH ASHAR HAYAH,” which means “I AM Who I AM,” The name of God is the I AM, which is YAH, as in Halleluyah! Which means: “Praise YAH!” Behold the name which is above every name: “YAH!” Halleluyah! The Savior’s one and only name is YAHSHUA!
Question: Did you know that the Savior identified Himself as the I AM? YAHSHUA said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58).
Question: Did you know that the Heavenly Father commanded, via an angel, Joseph to name the Savior YAHSHUA because YAH will save His people? YAH is “I AM”, as SHUA means: “My help”, as in my salvation (see Matthew 1:21).
”Behold the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved: “YAHSHUA!”
Question: Which is the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved? Choose one: Jesus, Iesus, Iesous, Yeshua, Isa, or the Spanish pronunciation of “Hey-zeus”, or YAHSHUA? Does language determine the name of the Savior or does the revelation of God?
Question: Since it is proven that the Savior’s name is YAHSHUA, what about all the people that never heard of that name? Are they going to hell? We are not to judge, but only to warn people. The Lord said this on the Cross, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do” (Luke 23:34). The Lord has said, “I will have mercy upon whom I will have mercy.” It is likely if they never heard the name YAHSHUA, and they did not reject the name YAHSHUA, then the Savior will have mercy on them.
Question: What if I prefer to say the name of Jesus, and not YAHSHUA? The gospel has this warning: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18).
Those who do not believe in the name of YAHSHUA, but hold to the name Jesus, which was never revealed by God, because they have seen answers to prayer and miracles in the name of Jesus. Do not know of all the miracles in other religions done by their gods. Nor that Moses, when he threw down his staff, which became a snake, the Magi of Egypt did the same. The reasons to know the name YAHSHUA:
Eminent historian Ernest Renan admitted that never was the Savior known as Jesus in His lifetime (The Life of Jesus, p. 90).
The Savior’s true name must have the name which is above every name YAH, meaning “I AM.” The apostle Paul testified to this in his epistle, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name…” (Philippians 2:9).
The Savior Himself identified with this name YAH {I AM}, when He said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58).
Truly, the name YAH is the name which is above every name, which is why we say, “Halleluyah,” which means: “Praise YAH!”
“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain” (Exodus 20:7). It would be a vain thing to bring His name to obscurity, or change His name.
If you will not hear, And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name,” Says the Lord of hosts, “I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart” (Malachi 2:2).
“Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He {YAH} also has become my salvation’” (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV).
Therefore, “Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name Yah, And rejoice before Him (Psalm 68:4 NKJV).

Jehovah, or Yehovah, is a name never revealed from God. We know this due to the fact that Jews added vowels from words like: Adonai, Eloah, and Elohim onto the consonantal name of God, YHWH (in Hebrew Yod-Hey-Waw-Hey). This was done to prevent the readers in the synagogues from saying God’s actual name, as the Hebrew words in the Hebrew Scriptures did not have vowels, so when the reader came upon the name of God, and saw the vowels added, he knew to say, “Adonai,” instead of inadvertently trying to pronounce the Name (HaShem).
From Eloah, the vowels of e-o-a caused the concoction of YeHoWaH, or Yehovah. This became the Latin Iehovah, and with the letter “J” added to the English alphabet by the 17th century this euphonious name was changed to Jehovah. Jehovah, or Yehovah, has a sinister meaning, as Je-hovah, specifically “hovah”, means ruin, mischief, and calamity (see Strong’s Dictionary of Bible Words # 1943). There is a Karaite Jew, who relies on Medieval sources to propagate the false name Yehovah. And yet the Jews have been adding vowels to the Tetragrammaton, the four letters of God’s name [YHWH] since, or before, the 11th century.
This practice of the Jews adding vowels to the Tetragrammaton [fancy name for “the four consonant letters” of God’s actual name], which caused yet another variation, the vowels of Elohim. This led to e-o-i added to the Tetragrammaton to make YeHoWiH (see Strong’s Dictionary of Bible Words # 3069).
Many religious leaders of the church, pastors, teachers, and priests know that Jehovah, or Yehovah, are false names, and yet they will stand by their traditions, and YAHSHUA warned us about them: “He answered and said to them, ‘Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…’ He said to them, ‘All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition’” (Mark 7:6-9). The vowel point under the Hebrew letter Yod, with the vowel called qamets (a for T), not the vowel sheva (e for :). That is YAH not Yeh. The command to Joseph, was, “...you shall call His name YAHSHUA…” (Matthew 1:21)
“Jesus”, is a name never revealed by God. This name came into being through a process of linguistic evolution. Man took it upon themselves to transliterate the common Aramaic name Yeshua to the Greek Iesous. Iesous conformed to the Latin to become Iesus, and this was up to the year 1632 CE. the unrevealed common English name for Christ. After the year 1632, the name of our Lord changed yet again to Jesus. Why does it matter?
Because the apostle Peter testified to the Sanhedrin that: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). When the apostle Peter testified in the name of YAHSHUA, the Sanhedrin reacted strongly. “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with YAHSHUA. And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, saying, ‘What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.’ So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of YAHSHUA. But Peter and John answered and said to them, ‘Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard’” (Acts 4:13-20). The name of YAHSHUA: Forbidden! Because the Jews heard “the name which is above every name,” YAH in His name!
The apostle Paul on the road to Damascus encountered YAHSHUA, and he asked, “Who are You, Lord?” And in the Hebrew language, the Lord tells him, “I am YAHSHUA…” (see Acts 26:12-15). We know that the apostle Paul heard “the name which is above every name,” YAH, because he wrote this: “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). Every language is to know the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved, and there is no rejecting this name, YAHSHUA! Many have said, “It is not about the name. It is about the Person.” According to the Gospel, this is false. As the Savior said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God’” (John 3:16-18). You stand condemned, because you have not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God! “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name…” (John 1:12). Halleluyah, Praise YAH, Praise YAHSHUA! “If you will not hear, and if you will not take it to heart, to give glory to My name,’ Says the Lord of hosts, ‘I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart’” (Malachi 2:2).

Yehovah is not God's "first" Name as we would think of in our culture. Exodus 3:15 tells us that THIS ("this" is emphasized in the Hebrew) is how He wants to be recognized and remembered *forever*. It is not a disrespectful thing to call God by this Name; it is a privilege to know it and call on Him by it. This is what He has asked us to do. And this Name is used 6,521 times throughout Scripture (the WLC). It is important to call Him by This Name!

I've thought about that also. In our culture we would never call our father by his name... But it dawned on me that that is my culture, which needs to fall inline with the Kingdom culture which is different from mine. In His Kingdom culture He revealed His name and cammands that we call on Him with that name. I don't do well with those 'sacred namers', but rather try my best with what I know... He knows we are still babies who are growing and learning, kind of like how my little boy is still learning to say words and sometimes says the word so strangely to a linguist, but as a parent I know what he is trying to say

Dr. Gordon, I'm was not aware of Mr. Nate Petroski until this episode, thank you. I to believe in the "Yahuah" pronunciation. One of the reasons is Flavius Yocephus' statement in his book "Wars of the Yahudiym" (Jews). Flavius Yocephus, a true Leviyiy living at the time of the destruction of the last temple in Yerushalayim, in "Wars of the Yahudiym" (Jews), Book Five, Chapter Five, Section Seven, had this to say about the garments of the Leviyiy (Levite) priests and the tetragrammaton:
“A mitre also of fine linen encompassed his head, which was tied by a blue ribbon, about which there was another golden crown, in which was engraven the sacred name [of God]: it consists of four vowels.”
Yocephus' statement that "the sacred name consists of 4 vowels" and Yahuah has 4 vowels, Yehovah does not. Does Yocephus' comment regarding Yah's name consisting of 4 vowels carry any weight with your understanding and pronunciation of "Yehovah", a 3 vowel pronunciation? Thank you in advance for your reply, R.

@RockstarVlog “Yahu” is just kind of the longer (or shorter) version of the Father’s Name. If you look at Psalm 68:4, you will see “Yah”, which is the short version of YHWH/Yahuah. YeshaYahu is the Hebrew name for Isaiah. It literally means “Salvation of Yah”. How cool is THAT!?! So many of the names actually had the Father’s Name in them, but since they have been translated, they usually have an “iah” at the end instead of a “yah”. For instance, YirmeYahu is Jeremiah, ObadYah is Obadiah, ZekarYah is Zechariah. His people, called by His Name! ☺️. I have some great teachers on my youtube channel if you are looking to learn more about the Names and the Ancient Path of our Beloved Father, YHWH.

If so I wanted to ask how the kaarite gets their traditions , rituals, practice etc?
Fascinating video . Most problems seem to stem from language and the fact that English has become such a dominant language.
The fact that English is written in the reverse direction to the semetic languages is a hint at how completely different it is.
Semetic languages are not linear like English either . Must make a big difference even in thought processing

Superb! Thank you for sharing this video! I have been following your talks and videos which are very enlightening! You are indeed a Brilliant Scholar and Teacher! I strongly believe you are sent by the Hebrew Almighty God to assist in amplifying the name of the Hebrew Almighty God as written in Hebrew in Ps. 83: 18 in these Last Days. I also believe that the Hebrew Almighty God's name needs to and must be pronounced responsibly in Hebrew. The Hebrew Almighty God is a precise Almighty God! The profound sounds, vibrations, the spectrum of frequencies, precise frequencies, the precise revolutions of atoms, birth of different types of stars & planets, the generation of energies and transfer of energies to earth, the harmony of various planetary laws of the universe, the creation of earth, man, earth's environments of trees, water, plants flora, fauna, bees, ants, animals, fish and all things are indeed the Works of the Hebrew Almighty God! I believe and understand that the Scriptures say the Israelites and Jews are meant to go out and teach the Gentles the teaching of the Scriptures. I also believe that the Scriptures are written in Hebrew and there are some things that one cannot express accurately in other languages! I also note that too in one of my mother's local Kambaramba village language. I also note that with the Gentles trying to interpret the scriptures in their understanding and may slightly deviate in the interpretations of the Scriptures and therefore I also noticed the Gentles have created so many religions and causing a lot of religions conflicts around the world! We should leave the teaching of the Scriptures' by the Israelites and the Jews to the Gentiles! Thank you again and keep up the good work in teaching to the Gentiles and the world. May the Hebrew Almighty God continue to Bless You and Family and Those that assist to produce these videos and print materials! Greetings from Papua New Guinea!

So what I understand from you is that Yehovah has been standardized linguistically in modern Hebrew and remains consistent in usage when a portion of God's name appears before a suffix in a person's name, (ex. Never be afraid of what people will think of you when you end your prayer in Yahshua's name. I'll paraphrase something Yahshua said, "what ever you ask in My name, that I will do!" Yahshua is the Word/Torah... The Way, The Truth, and The Life.

    • @DaltonLPyron
      @DaltonLPyron Рік тому

Yahshua is not a real word. There has never been a Jew named Yahshua in all history. The pronunciation is either Yeshua or Yehoshua. Also, to pray in someone's name means to pray in their authority. It doesn't mean that by speaking a name you'll have your prayers answered. That's magical thinking.

I currently think these are pretty accurate pronunciations and use Yahuah and Yahusha as well. I did hold for a while that it was Yahweh, then Yehovah... But, pretty much all that is important here is that we get our hearts right with Yahuah Elohim/God and repent of anything before Him and pray to Him, having that one on one personal connection with Him daily and ask Yahusha to forgive us when we fall short, that He'd have mercy on us. There are always going to be other people out there with their personal opinions to how the name is spelled and pronounced and this topic can get hot, (that depends on who you're around, haha), and some can get angry if you don't pronounce the name the way they do and they'll try to force their opinion hoping that they can get it to come out of your mouth (which isn't showing the fruits of the Spirit)... You never know, they could totally have it right... but... As long as someone's research about the name is scriptural, and doesn't go against scripture, and you are convicted that a certain pronunciation is right, run with it. Perhaps you'll find out later in life that there is an even more accurate pronunciation... But, just being able to pronounce the name right isn't going to help that much in your relationship with the Most High. I believe Yahuah would love it if we could have the right pronunciation. But, as children of Elohim/God, we will likely mispronounce our Father's name by mistake, as a young baby. I'm sure He smiles at that and is glad to know that we care about His name enough that we'd try to figure out the pronunciation. Yahusha bless! :)@@thomaskaltia6251

I love the scripture at Psalm 44:11 where the Jews were in exile and called on the wrong Name but God still heard them. This makes sense as some were born under pagan rule but once they were out of exile and went back to Israel and the Name of the True God was known was miss pronouncing the The Divine Name acceptable?

Clement of Alexandria (200AD) was a christian theologian who taught at the Catechetical School of Alexandria in Egypt around 200AD. The only surviving manuscript of Clements where he spells out the Creator's name in Greek is in Codex Eldar where he spells the sacred name IAOU, pronounced in Greek as YAHU.
Severus of Antioch, Turkey is one of the founders of the Syriac orthodox church (500AD). He wrote a commentary on the gospel of John where he uses the Greek letters IOA (Iota/Omega/Alpha) to identify the Creator. It is noteworthy that this same spelling is also found in some older Septiguent manuscripts.

Black Obelisk of Shalmaneser III (840BC) the two meter obelisk was found in the Palace at Nimrud located on the Tigris River southeast of Mosul in the north of modern day Iraq. The obelisk shows five kings bringing tribute and laying prostrate before the Assyrian king. One of the kings is Jehu, the king of Israel. He is identified by an inscription of his name rendered in the ancient Arcadian language as "Ya-u-a".

Abundant evidence is also found in other nations and cultures throughout history.
A brief Egyptian hieroglyph inscription, dated around 1400 BC that has been found at the Sudan town of Soleb, may be the oldest archaeological occurrence of YAHUAH’s sacred name. Professor Gerard Gertoux, from the Association
Biblique de Recherche d’Anciens Manuscrits in
France, who translated the inscription said, “The
text is easy to decipher-it sounds “ta’ sha’suw
yehua’w”, which means in English, “land of the
bedouins those of Yehua.” So Gertoux concludes that the God of the Bedouin’s name in Soleb, is most likely vocalized as YEHUA.

The derived forms Iehouah and Jehovah first appeared in the 16th century. The vocalization of the Tetragrammaton Jehovah was first introduced by William Tyndale in his translation of Exodus 6:3, and appears in some other early English translations including the Geneva Bible and the King James Version.
