20:31 for those who aren’t aware, Rob was diagnosed with Bipolar I earlier this year, and during First of October 2023 he was on the downswing of a manic episode. He made a video about it on his second channel.
I'm hoping the fact that you've popped up on my homepage at least twice means you're about to take off because the videos I've watched so far have been great.
Enjoyed the video a lot! I cannot stand for the Valerie slander though. Jk. It's super cool seeing other people talk about my favorite niche music project and getting their perspective to see how it differs from mine.
Across the Road definitely my favorite as well. Abby Rowed probably my favorite track, along with Magic and Pretty Raw. Definitely their most consistent work. Ranking: Across the Road GREG ROUND 6 Chaos 10 Hours Gourmet Ravioli The first two albums are fun experiments but the songs themselves I never go back to.
Valerie is a beautiful song. These guys cover so many genres, so it makes sense that people into the more punk/rock tunes wouldn't care for this ballad.
This was a good watch. Can't say i agree with all of your takes, but you did a great job articulating your thoughts and your critiques. I like the editing, too
Wasn’t feeling like doing one in the moment but here’s what my list would look like right now 1. Across The Road 2. Gotta Record Everything Good 3. Round 6 4. Gourmet Ravioli 5. CHAOS 6. Ten Hours
Giving Rob and Andrew grief for going all the way to Abbey Road with only one guitar pick reminds me of the moment in the Beatles Anthology where Paul has shown up to Abbey Road with no pick at all and catches heat from John for it (1963 version of One After 909, I think). Panic brain. It's a thing. But surely they could have despatched someone to the nearest music shop to pick one up. Or Abbey Road wouldn't have a handful just available?

thirty first of October is probably my least favorite from that album as well lol
