Took me three tries: a nail that was just a hair too small, a bolt that was also just a hair too small, and finally a screw that hit the sweet spot (and just as I was thinking to myself "wish I could just buy a tool"). Thank you.

I found this video very straight forward and I wound up using a small punch to push the pin out and then it took a few tries, but I was able to successfully reseat the magazine release catch by tapping it back into place while holding the magazine clip in place. I'm hoping that it stays in place or else, I may have to pick up a replacement one.

Sir i have Chinese tt pistol now tell me that if I keeping magazine full load all the year it's magazine spring will be lose or damaged and next what is the service life of Chinese tt pistol barrel

I would not recommend keeping the magazine loaded all the time unless you have a good reason to do so. All springs will wear out if left under pressure. Just load the magazine when you are going to be using the pistol.
For barrel life I have read that the chrome lined Chinese Tokarev's should last for 20,000 rounds. Just remember if you are using surplus ammunition you need to clean after every single use, the primers are corrosive and will quickly damage the barrel if not cleaned. I pour hot water through the barrel and then clean with solvent and re-oil. You can also use ammonia to neutralize the corrosive primers

Sir Chinese tt pistol magazine capacity is 8 rounds & if I put 7 rounds in mag all the year then it's magazine spring will be spoiled or not?

@@sulemanlaghari1537 That will help but there is still continual pressure on the spring. Military and police will leave magazines loaded for very long periods of time but they have easy access to replacement parts. If you are going to leave the magazine always loaded then you may want to buy a spare spring for the magazine so that if you start to have problems with bullets feeding you have a replacement part already available.

Riddle me this Batman. How do I remove the firing pin and safety lever on my Zastava M88A?

Hey William, I don't have one personally but I did a bit of digging and found some instructions let me know if this helps....first is the safety. " There's a black dot near the safety cutout in the slide. That dot doesn't represent the manual safety's "off" position (that's a prominent red dot). The black dot marks a depression for the safety detent. The detent captures the detent spring. Both are contained within the body of the safety. If you're not careful, both can depart for parts unknown when the safety is removed.
The firing pin has to be fully depressed before the safety assembly can be pushed and pulled out of the slide. Since I don't have three hands, I placed the slide inside a large, clear plastic bag and used a broad-face punch to push in the pin and hold it inward. With my hand, slide, and punch inside the bag, I positioned the slide flat on my bench with the safety upward. I could then grasp the thumbpiece between my fingernails, rotate it, and pull it out. Of course, spring and detent ball flew from the safety body as expected, but at least they remained inside the bag." Hopefully this makes sense as you look at the parts and pieces.

Next for the firing pin, again from someone else's article..."All the pins in the firing mechanism can be drifted in either direction. Pin #42 serves as a hammer pivot as well as the seat for the hammer plunger and spring. The sear and disconnector share the same pin, and the sear spring is integrated with the sear. (Notice the S&W revolver hand/handspring lingo there.)
A really neat thing about the Zastava's firing mechanism is you don't need slave pins to reassemble it. But remember this tip: You'll never get the trigger bow back in the pistol with the grips on and the magazine release installed." Good luck and let me know how it goes.

@@mattsgaragediy, thank you for this. I’m in the middle of Pardner SB1 refurbish at the moment, but once it’s done I’m back on the Zastava. I’ll let you know how it goes.

@@mattsgaragediy, so I started back on the m88A and I got the safety , firing pin out. Also I made a tool to get the mag release button off. Now I can go about really cleaning this old gun up. Not sure yet but I may reblue it.
