Omg I was literally at Albert Einstein this summer doing research! I totally loved the environment, the most chill grad program I've ever seen so I hope you enjoy your time there! Also, the Bronx is so underrated she's a gem💕
Great to see a fellow Yalie talk about med school apps. I'm sorry you got stuck in Ldub and in one of the most crowded dining halls (Stiles for the win). Would definitely like to see another video specifically about pre med at Yale! I just finished my first year and would benefit from the knowledge of someone like yourself.
im applying this cycle w very similar stats. Seeing how your interviews spread out kinda calmed me down a bit. I also got 2 IIs in August and was worried something's wrong with my app. :/ Aight just gotta sit tight and be patient Ig
I wanna give u a big big hug for this vid... I can't find enough motivation to finish any of my drafts to send it to my mentor. Hopefully it'll change in 20 minutes. If not... idk what to do. Again, thank you! You're amazing and inspiring and so hard-working
Yes, I did clinical research for a year! Would definitely recommend taking a gap year not only for your emotional wellbeing, but just personal growth as well :)
Can't speak for him specifically, but in general location, cost of attendance, perceived prestige, and research opportunities are key factors for most when deciding. The culture of the school is also very important (i.e., competition vs. collaborative student body). Einstein is in NYC, is a big research school, and has a great reputation. I'm not sure what the financial aid is like.
Mate mabe this seems to be funny a little bit but how can l as a medical student in the country named Mauritanie in africa be able to get in one of those medical university in the usa🥲
Future video? How did you qualify for fee assistance? Did your parents get laid off during Covid? Do your parents work a minimum-wage job? Do you have a parent in jail? Are you a welfare kid? Your mom's house seems very nice. It looks like a normal American house. not judging, not criticizing, but curious. Applying to 20 schools is easily 6% of most families' pre-tax income.
great vid!! good choice -FREE TUITION FOR U!!! awesome
I bet hes super happy about his decision now lmaooooo

You having 3.85 gpa and 516 MCAT score already put you at the top of the list of the schools you applied to. Those are great stats!
Congratulations!

I was actually in Morse, so we shared the same dining hall :)

how would a 3.7 and a 515 look cuz I'm stressed about my grades
as long as your science gpa is good you’re good
Did you take a gap year when applying to med school?
Why did you choose Albert Einstein over the other schools you were accepted to?

Can you pay? That’s probably the first thing to consider.
