I scored a 473 on my diagnostic so hope it makes you feel better. Let's just say it was a humbling moment for me. Since then I've increased almost 30 points and hope I'll continue to improve. Thanks for sharing your MCAT journey so honestly.
Thank you so much for posting this!! I'm in month 4 of studying for the MCAT and I will be testing by next year, and l've been learning the question types and do my best to practice as many questions as possible. I watch a lot of videos here on UA-cam and with practice, practice, practice. It's nice to hear advice from Good teachers here on UA-cam who remembers that the struggle is real with this exam. Thank you again!! (Also, for the young ones worrying about not getting into Medical school soon...I'm 39 and will be 40 when (if accepted) I begin Medical school. Yup, I'm changing careers! So keep your head up, study and practice and remember you got this!)
Thank you so much Sam. My 87 year ild grandpa has always wanted to be a doctor. I showed this video to him and he decided to take the MCAT. He took it and got a $599.99. He died a day after taking the test. Thank you so much again 🙏🏻
Watching this 16 days out and realising I made the same mistakes as you did. I spent WAY too long on content review, studied passively and did no practice, and now I feel like I know nothing. I just hope i break 500 on the real deal (on the 31st) and then God willing achieve my goal score on my retake!
I’m retaking the exam 2 weeks from today. I love anki! Anki helped me remember information in decks I studied weeks or even months ago. Part of the reason I didn’t get a good score in 9/2023 was that I spent close to 9 months studying to do unforeseen medical and family circumstances. I quit my job in 2/2024 to focus on studying. I also take Sunday off every week. I signed up for a June test date in February to keep me motivated and not burn out. Last year I felt like the studying would never end. I’ve been more anxious with test day approaching BUT I’ve been less stressed for most of my prep (and scoring well on exams).

This was such an informative not to mention hilarious breakdown of the journey lol. Super appreciate you sharing your notes. Thank you so much for this!
thx for the advice. i just got humbled by my diagnostic and am kind of freaking out. can totally relate to how u were feeling the beginning of the vid. again thx for the tips, lmao pls wish me luck 😭🤡
It’s just nice to see someone that I can relate to; currently a senior in college! And I’m just disappointed that I haven’t took my MCAT yet bc I’ve been so afraid
I also postponed mine to August. I was supposed to take it in May, then postponed it to June then August. I’m so scared because I’m working full time and I feel like I don’t have enough time to study well but we’ll see. We got it 🥹
LMAO, I am doing the MCAT for the first time, and I didn't realize that people schedule for this exam centuries before they give it, so now I am also having to travel to another province to take it. It's ok; I will travel, still give it, and still apply to med school. Ain't no bitch stopping me.
Hi, soooo I messed up and I am doing my second attempt and I am kind of in a tight spot. What made you void your second attempt? I might have to do that this Friday...
meanwhile me.... I decided a month ago I want to go to med school and become a doctor and don't graduate until later on so I'm hoping I don't post pone the mcat studying for too long ahaha

Good for you man, way to go back and do what you want. I have a 42 year old in my current study group with MR Tony.
I'm 51 and doing the same. We got this! I don't care if l'm the old man in study group. Just means I have more wisdom and experience than my peers
This is really inspired me!!!!❤️❤️. I hope everything works out!
I’m 35 and I needed this 🥰!!
I needed to read your testimony! Thanks for sharing this story 🤗🤗

Did you have a specific sheet you used for all of the equations?
I made my own sheet to study off of, but Kaplan has a pretty good sheet of formulas as well!
