I think the young driver here is a good tester. Love to see them included. Thanks for the breakdown. I keep looking at all the capra's and just can't seem to pull the trigger on any cuz the cost hurts a little.
Same here. I feel like it would be a good bridge between the 18 and 10 scale. A lot of the terrain around me is a little to big for a 18 to be enjoyable and my 10th scale would be a pain to lug around. I feel like the Capra would be perfect but idk.
I love seeing new UTB18 videos, they absolutely don’t get nearly enough credit ❤ My TREAL Edition MINI CAPRA 6x6 has been and still is a blast to develop and test new parts for. And I did watch to the end lol ❤ great video
@@TheShopMiniRC Just posted a new short with a 1/10 body for those looking to make a scale style build but were conflicted about the chassis/wheel base size❤
Mini Beast, it does look rather large for a “1/18” scale but seemed to be very capable right out of the box! Can’t wait to see the upgrades! Thanks for the great video!
Thanks of that full breakdown and I feel the same way in regards to the scale issue. I’m thinking about getting me one of those “Mini Beast”! Keep up the good content.
Nice breakdown. Ive been running mine for awhile now and love it. Its one of the few cars I run down to the lvc everytime. I added Treal portal covers and overdrive gears, LGRP links and steering link, and some 1.9 wheels with 1.7 Krawler tires. I did have to get a new servo the since the stock one went out but nothing else has broken so far. Edit: mini beast
I’m just starting in the mini/micro scale and started with the FCX24 K5. I’m really impressed by its ability to climb over stuff. I have a project in mind but not sure where to start. I want to keep the K5 mostly like it is. That said, I was thinking of getting the power wagon version and make it an off road wrecker/ recovery tow truck with it. I might have to change my plans now. That thing is a mini beast!
Tape the holes in the wheels makes a big difference im still running stock tires....added a 1060 esc and a spektrum radio and its smooth as silk with great wheel speed using a 2s 1500 mah zeee battery
Way to go can I think you're doing the right thing buddy I know you are
Thanks. I’m definitely not closed minded, just wanted to try and stick to a niche.

@@JUSTHAVEFUNRC it would be for sure. Exactly why they should have just called it a 1/14. Either way, it’s worth picking up! It’s a blast!

It’s super fun. And yep, 1/13.8 is the actual scale compared to the 1/10 cap

Of course! We try to share what we can. We hope many of the manufactures out there will listen and try to do better with that.

the FCX24 is such an awesome platform! I have seen a few in the facebook groups build wreckers / tow rigs out of them and they are fantastic!
Mini beast!
Thanks a ton for watchin!!!

Thanks for the info!
Mini beast reminds me of my cr12 team associated it's a weird size lol.
For sure!
Its 2mm longer then a 1/18 comp crawler thats maybe why they’re calling it that scale.
Huh? Not even close. It’s WAY bigger.
Phil Collins!
Oh yah?!
We get it. It’s not 1:18. Over 7 minutes of you talking about its size. Let it go and enjoy the vehicle
I just want to impress my opinions on the matter since I have a platform that can potentially influence future product development. (And it has)
