Which Capra is your favorite? My other Capra reviews: Axial Capra 1/10 (original) - ua-cam.com/video/dhukyrnQNeg/v-deo.html Axial Capra 4WS Edition - ua-cam.com/video/w7Lle_DlVHg/v-deo.html
Love the way you added the lights. I haven't bought this rig yet but I know I will soon. I loved the hobby when I was a teen. I had an "evil stepmother" then and she constantly was on me about how I was a young man and shouldn't be playing with toys. I lost that fire for it after that. Now I'm a father of a beautiful 8yr old daughter and while I was watching videos of rc cars she said," daddy, you should get us 1 of those, they look fun." 6 months or so later we have the Deadbolt, Gladiator, Power Wagon, Glacier, USA1, a blue Toyota, TRX4m Land Rover, a 1/64 scale bouncer, Vanguard, Big Rock, Redcat Earthquake, Traxxas TMax, and maybe 1 or 2 more I can't think of at the moment. 🤣 Yeah, I tend to go a lil overboard! Love your videos! Till next time! 👋
I saw one of these at my lhs and agree with your comment around it being a solid little package. I was impressed with the fit and finish and I think it's at the right price point for what it is. I didn't get to run it so I appreciate your review. Nicely done! And the lights were a great addition too...
Great review and video. I agree that the MyTrick RC lights really send it over the top. I think with the right upgrades, the fun level will go through the roof.
This is the first review I've seen that bothered to show the inside, great job and detail! Your lighting additions look ideal and I'm glad your doggie got a cameo! Keep it up girl!
Partner Racing gave us the QX-4 buggy in 1:18 scale many years ago and that was a capable hobby-grade machine. It never made much of an impression though as I guess it was ahead of its time and mini crawlers hadn't gained much attention when it was released.
Nice crawler, I never had one but I think I would get this one. I'm not sure about the shocks they look weak in rebound if there supposed to have it. The light kit is awesome, a must for this crawler. I do think the price is a bit much. Maybe at 179.00 but guess I have to take the inflation factor into account. I still like it & hope they come out with some aluminum axles & wheels . Let's get this thing decked out. NEED ALUMINUM HOPUP PARTS. that's the only thing holding me back. Thanks for video & your time.
Hey just saw your review of this and I decided to get the Black one. My experience with RC Cars in in the middle 80's as a pit crew and builder / repair crew for my 12yo son. This stuff is much different. I upgraded to aluminum steering and brass brass hubs in the front. This little rig is quite easy to maneuver and fun out back. I thought it was nice for you to tour Oregon Hobby Shops. Too bad you missed Tammie's in Beaverton they have been around for decades and was my go to in the 80's for Rian. BTW your channel is informative and thorough and easy to follow for an old newbie. Give more credit to Mtn Mike
Great video content, as usual.Thanks. I have a HBX Devastator, I create a course for it by placing various objects under my sitting room rug. Hours of fun 🙂
Love this, looks sick with the MyTrickRC lights too. I'm really getting in to the small scale stuff again at the minute and this could well be the next one I go for. 🔥🤙
I'm not a huge fan of the mini either. I recently purchased the scx24 gladiator and I hate it🤮 I was iffy about this mini capra as well but my girlfriend surprised me with it and let me tell ya it's very impressive right out the box. I 100% recommend it.
@@T00LF00L honestly I don't think you'd be disappointed with it. I just put the front overdrive gears and wheels with brass ring and JConcepts Tusks tires and it made a world of a difference. The one thing I don't like about it as Rc Girl says is the stock system,it sucks.
Price is great when you consider the quality and that its RTR. Keep in mind the Losi mini Crawler Pro was 219.99 without electronics, 10+ yrs ago! I owned several mini crawler pro's and when dialed in they can crawl 90-95% of what a 10th scale can! Super stoked to pick this one up and get back into 18th scale! Thx for the great review and run RC Girl!
The Yeti Jr. was 1/18 scale as well, so not the first from Axial. Not that this really is 1/18... . But I like it! Good that it sits lower than what it appeared from the Axial photos. Nice review.
This will probably be my next RC when you did the review on the 4wheel steer 1:10 Capra I got that one I had been watching the reviews on it. So looks like it’s gunna have a little buddy. I like the size of it & definitely have to get some metal beadlocks on it asap! And front metal links. To start.
Great review! Showing the internals and the driving footage was great! I really like mine. My only real complaint about it are that the battery is a little small (650 milliamps, really?) But that's not a huge deal.
I really appreciate your style of reviews - especially all the details. This little crawler looks super awesome, but the drivetrain unfortunately did not really impress - plus the electronic noise.
try adding the 2 in 1 esc and receiver that comes in a scx10 iii bronco. you can control all the settings with the hobby wing card rc review has a video on it. nice show thanks, also you will have 3 channels
For me the price is ok, TRX4M cost $150, don't have ball bearings, and the axles gears are plastic, don't have portals and the servo is small not standar like the Mini Capra, there a lot of value, from this mini rig. Another fact the bearings for TRX4M cost $40, slow gear ratio $5 or $40 the transmission if you don't find the slow gear, and the most important don't exist for now the portal, the Mini Capra hold more value, is money that you keep, for those they like this Mini Capra have 12mm hex
You are such a girl! Lol! What I mean by that is if a guy was to try and squeeze that light kit in there we would be cutting & cussing. Then give up and say that’s good enough while wires are hanging everywhere. Great job.
It is hard to accept a second version of this vehicle when the 1st vehicle required tons of modifications and upgrades to perform as it should have out of the Box.
IMHO this is a far better deal than the $150.00 TRX-4m EVERYONE is soiling their pants over. This RC includes proper ball bearings, a steering servo that offers countless replacement options, and an actual 1/16 to 1/14 scale size that better fits an adult male's hands. I like the extra lights you added(I've saved the links). Aluminum steering links, overdrive gears, and brass shock spring keepers are already on order.
The Capra UTB18 is more like my old Team Losi Mini Rock Crawler Pro. Be patient. An SCX18 in coming soon to kick the a** of the TRX 4M. I feel it. I hope it comes out in a Honcho version that looks like the SCX6 Honcho. That rear stinger!…

Really in depth review, especially showing the internals. Thank you for that.
I like those lights, looks good! I purchased the orange one yesterday.
I love the mini capra!! Going to get a second one!
Looks really good! Thanks for another great video, I want one 😀
Great video! Per usual 🙌🏽 I’m definitely snagging one of these!!
Another awesome video with great information. Very nice rig.

Motor Sounds Installed in Your RC's !!🌿
Nice little crawler! Really, really like the light kit!
Yeah the lights are super versatile
Your low light and color grading settings are awesome in this video!
thanks!

Another rc crawler added to my list. Looks really cool.
Just ordered one in black, liked your review, informative

Super cool rig, love the extra lights!
this is my next purchase for sure cant wait to pick up my trx4m tomorrow :) greetings from canada!
I'm not a big mini fan, but this might be fun to play with inside!

@@Hardlines_FullsendRc Thanks, that's good info! Yeah I personally feel 1/24 is just too small to actually perform well enough to be fun..

@@RCGirl No worries. Probably not an especially memorable one.

Axial has had a handful of 1/18th scale trucks. There was a Yeti and a trophy truck. There’s also a 1/18th Yeti available right now.
I don't even have a regular Capra, but I am considering this one.
get the 1/10
Your video made me bought TRX4. Can you made video how to install the light kits pro? If you did, please provide the link for the video. Thanks
I have one wrapped under the Christmas tree 🎄 can't wait ..wonder if my 2s zeee battery will fit 🤔
Cool. But I still want the 1/10 one. That first then the 1/18😆. Thanks for the video girl 🤘
That looks awesome well done!!!!!
Thank you ❤
The Capra 18-6x6 was a fun build ❤ but I prefer the 4x4x4

I wonder if with a brushless combo this rig could be a good rock bouncer... 🤔🤔🤔
Maybe! It would probably need a faster rebound shock setup for that too
Bonjour et merci pour vos vidéos 👌
Auriez vous un lien pour ce procurer le kit d’éclairage arrière pour ce petit UTB18 ? SVP
11:26 I’m looking at MyTrick RC’s website now. I don’t see the 3D printed cases. Got a code or SKU?
Have you thought about adding rock lights to the 4 legged vehicle at 14:06?
Noisy but seems to be very capable.
Yeah looks good , just needs to be bigger!😂👍
How do you adjust the drag brake?

Nice 👍
Do the lights affect battery run time?
Probably a little. They are LED so they are efficient but they take power. I will have to run with and without lights and see
Meant to say, I think I have the same BMX bike as you as yours a mongoose with a pattern seat and a hole in the middle
hey rc girl i got my self a trx 4 blazer

😮 soiling! Both can be great little trucks! Silly little man child! [ humor ] the man child part. So many have zero humor anymore.😂😂
Isn’t it a “bind plug”. It should be a “re-bind plug” since it’s already set up from the factory. Right?…
Micro crawlers aren’t the ultimate anything lol
Nice 👍
