Excellent as always. Maybe forty years ago I did the Airfix Eagle Transporter and the Hawk Mark Nine. I'm currently working on the 22 inch MPC Eagle myself, but straight out of the box. I've chosen for the rescue version with the red vertical stripes on the passenger cabin, I'm regretting it because the red paint I'm using tends to move out of the horizontal corrugated parts of the cabin and I didn't take care enough to properly tape off the area that should remain white. Maybe I should do the orange VIP version, or leave it plain white. Anyhow it's a great model.
The best spaceships design. Great build. This is not an Eagle Transporter, it's a Rescue Eagle. The Transporter had no red stripes on the passenger module.
Transporter was plain white, rescue had stripes, later models had a lab extension on the passenger section. Combat eagles were different also, and of course the flying crane worker bee eagle.
Really nice build. I have this kit too and I recognize the same problem areas. I too am going to use metal parts for the landing gear. The parts in the kit are just way too flimsy. Inspirational build. Thank you for uploading !!!
This Eagle has a full, in-depth, build article in Tamiya Model Magazine International, March 2017. I just decided, way back, to do a short video montage using the old photos.
If you look carefully at those compartments - 0:57 - you'll see that part of them is made up from the rear engine deck of what I think is a Tiger I :)))
I built the Cylon ship kit back in the day and looking over the surface details, I spotted various bits of WWII German armor. A 75mm Kwk 40 gun barrel was split down the middle and slapped on, muzzle break and all in several places, as were obvious drive sprockets, idlers and road wheels from Pzkw III. Have read the original studio models of the SW X-wing used the engine/exhausts of the old Revell 1/32 F-4 kits plus various other bits.

Nice...when I'm a teenager I love to get my hand on em, but those days it's pretty hard to get one besides an Airfix kit. All that passion gone now.

Didn't really need to be aerodynamic if it's a space ship. Nevertheless great build
