Welcome back JJ!! Flagg reminds me of Jabari Parker on the offensive end. He’s fluid, mid range, good enough 3 point shooter he’s just so all around spectacular that it adds another level
I would say Jabari is probably our best offensively fluid player in the one and done era, Cooper has some of that too and a lot of the intangibles on defense and off ball to become that transcendent player
The Ryan Kelly comeback is by far my favorite Duke basketball game. So glad to still hear references to it today. What a magical game. Like Coach K said… we witnessed a game for the ages that day
I agree. What's crazy is not only how young he is, but that he may even be better and showcase how good he is in the league with more spacing. He has unreal potential
@@isaactaylor6236 Saturday was the first time I thought he really settled in and played his game since he's been at Duke. By March, holy moly! Cooper was the best player on the Select team last summer. A team of all pros except the high school kid. I'm biased - I played with Cooper's grandfather, Dan, at Nokomis 50 years ago. LOL
@SingleTrackMined thats awesome. How was his grandfather? But speaking of them they seem like great people and humble too. The game is slowing down for him which is scary. And you can't double him with all of the weapons now that hes making reads. Duke has a lot of matchup problems for teams to deal with
@@isaactaylor6236 Dan, Cooper's grandfather, was a very, very good player. 6'3", leaper, wiry, deceptively strong. Can't double Cooper, no one can stop him. Tough combination. LOL I really love 16-17 from the line. Kid has it all.
@SingleTrackMined i bet he was. That free throw improvement from the beginning to now is huge. Cooper may go down as one of my favorite players out of Duke with how he plays and the energy that he brings

Cooper is just getting started.
