Soooo addicting, the nice part is that some have really nice leaves so they don't even need to bloom for them to be just GORGEOUS hanging out with everything else!
Oh my goodness Nicole. You’re going to have to get a larger place just for your Hoya’s. 😅. I’ve got lots of leca and self watering pots. But only three Hoya’s. But I must admit they are pretty. Have a great weekend. 🥰👏
Can you make a video on the self-watering square pots for hoyas? Is there a wick? What type of water do you use? How do you fertilize? How often do you change the water? Do you flush and on what schedule. Etc. I like the clean nature of the leca. Would like to learn more. Thanks.
I made a note to make a short on this when I have some time💛 I use regular tap water because my NYC tap water is low in mineral content. I use MSU fertilizer just like I do for the orchids and the hoyas love it. Don't need to flush as often as the orchids, the roots are less sensitive - so maybe every 3 months. I don't change the water, just add water - usually when I water the containers are dry or close to dry. They are less fussy than the orchids for sure. There's no wick, there is a little cone that will be filled with leca that brings the moisture up. Will show it in the video, maybe I'll repot one!
they are all nice. i kinda have most of them. i can say for sure you rooted that nummularioides backwards. and also hoya rangsan is a hoya latifolia so thats why the simmilar rooting habit. goodluck with them
"I'm going to be in trouble cause I'm gonna run out of space" haha, same here with Anthurium. I should thank the horrible mite infestation for making me throw out orchids (they just kept attacking the same plants) to give me some shelf space. Although now I have several that are starting to flower so I may be in trouble if I can make hybrids and I grow out the seeds.
Love the Video! Now I understand the attraction to the Hoya! And fragrant. What else can you ask for. My niece is moving here in December. I asked her for some clippings, I think she has a couple of types.
Very nice! I hope you enjoy them. Yes, some have incredible foliage and flowers. Many are fragrant, and they grow quite fast and are vigorous. Some I just have for the leaves, so pretty :)
I MUST find the second plant, the dark pink! I don't know what I am going to do with mine either. I don''t have many but they currently grow under lights very well but space is at a premium. But I really love one that mi sister-in-law gave me. I think it's just white but the leaves look like they have white paint spattered on them. I have no idea what its name is because her plant was given to her. Anyway, than ks for sharing.
I was so surprised to see how pretty that flower was! I was all about the leaves and didn't expect for it to look so nice. It's hoya heuschkeliana variegata🌿. They are so wonderful!
So cool! You got some great new ones!!😊 so addicting! 😂Hoya wall! 😂

Haha! It's too much, I know, and several are going to get so big on me :) It's worth it though, when they grow and bloom, I'm over the moon 🥰

Yep I have 2 and I’ve been thinking about but didn’t know which and thank to you now I do. Thanks Nicole 13:01
I'm glad it was helpful :)
For the algorithm ❤❤❤
Appreciate you 🥰 The hoya videos are not popular for my subs, but over time it helps me get new viewers 💚

I felt this deeply. Once we enter the rabbithole we're not coming out lol.

Lovely Hoyas! Where did you get the metal hanger attachment on the terra cota pot?
Hausermann's used to carry them, and also RepotMe.
I got it at repotme.com years ago! You can get them on Amazon. Look for terra cotta pot hangers or hook :)
That a lot of hoyas 😂
It's too much hahaha 😅 Thanks for all your support :)
