One of my favorite of the Chevy wagons. Pretty cool back story, too. Most guys don't know they made a Nomad after '57. I had a couple Chevelle Nomads, one a 69, the other a 70.
Such an incredible car, guys. I saw my dream truck, I believe in the background, and it is blue. Would be such an incredible project car. The wife and I have a 62 impala.
thanks Phillip ,i hope you get it rolling . and get it cleaned up .wow oldieeee

It's not in real good shape. What's your dream truck?
@phillipsrundripbubblecompa9232 I had a 55 mercury, but it got stolen from where I had it stored, and that still hurts, and that was 9 years ago.
I had no idea that they were made in ‘61 👍👍

From a time and place when people didn’t depend on big government
At 12:36 I can't help but wonder why you didn't clean off the engine, in case it starts. It will be sucked down the carb.
We really didn't think it was going to start.
That is not a nomad that's just a station wagon Nomad only had two doors that one has four it's a station wagon just saying
Yeah, I know, but it is a nomad that in 61 was a trim package
