He is the cool grandfather that everyone deserves.
I agree 💯✔
I’m his granddaughter and I promise u it’s not as great as u think
He grandfather we need, but do not deserve.
@@melody.e1149 lies
sympo sosa search my insta _melody.3dwards_ I’m not lying I’m not that sad I have a life
He is so genuinely cheerful and funny person
Patrick Stewart would make an epic Jedi Master.
I recommend we go immediately to battle stations.
ramming speed
Your suggestion has been noted Mr. Worf. But we do not want to be perceived as a threat. Power down our weapons and lower our shields. Have Geordi beam aboard the alien ship without a security team as a gesture of peace.
Eat any good books lately,worf?
Make it so.
Worf...It's not like you're in your Gorch days. I'd imagine blue alert is all we're gonna achieve.
One of the best actor ever much respected
Lucian Bunda he is one of the greatest actors ever you ask him.
He's a genuine guy
yes. one of the best liars in history. very wonderful.

The Sir Mix-a-lot hit hard
is that an Excalibur reference?
That brought me back, baby.
His voice is gold
Yes, but actually it broke a couple of years ago ... again.
It is so soothing and makes you feel safe
I just feel bad for him as his voice seems to have become unstable/creaky/hoarse.
Patrick is like a fine bottle of Chateau Picard, just gets better with age.
This is the truthiest truth here.
Not really.
Oh Captain, my captain..............
Why is there No Patrick Stewart in any James Bond Movie?
...because being English doesn't automatically make you a James Bond character?
Maybe not his thing. But he *was* in the BBC's Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, which is excellent.
@@professorpancakes6545 Looooooollllll He would make an awesome villain in anything though. Hes so commanding. But we'll all have to make do with Charles Dance as Benedict in Last Action Hero
Black Sunshine haha true!
Oh wow, he could be an uber villain!
Kimmel doing a show in the UK would be pretty fun actually.
Oh yeah he could go on Graham Norton even that'd be cool too.
Sir Patrick is such a beautiful soul.
I really love and admire Sir Patrick Stewart. I just see him as a person of integrity. 👍🤗👩🚀🚀🛰️
He has the perfect voice to voice audio book, i'd listen to him talk about anything, anyday, anytime.
Iqra Adalat I think he has done some
My favorite interview ever! I love the pace and flow of the conversation and I cannot wait to see the next time he is on the show!!!!
When The Captain asks you to save his country, you do it ... you just do it
we need saving?? from what?
@@andyfox8377 from yourselves, possibly (says the guy from the Netherlands 😕)... 😉
Yes. I don't understand why they haven't figured out Brexit. It's so simple.
@@leonidus66 it's so simple it hurts to even think if how these people don't register the danger they are in I mean that is just not even funny to watch.
"make it so Jimmy"
Still my Captain.
To the sirs of the round table
He just seems like such a genuine & kind person! I can't wait to see continuation of Star Trek. And I love that he loves pittys!
I love this man. Respect and love.
This man, is not a myth ...but is a Legend!
Picard, how many lights do you see in the studio?
THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!!!!
Cheers from one nerd who got that reference to another.
Trump would say "There might have been four lights, I think there could have been five, many people have said there were six, you can't trust the deep state. "
@@douglashenry6996 "Perfect lights"
What lights
SPS is a national treasure and should be protected at all costs.
What nation is that? I am not english nor american, but i still hold him safe in my mind :)
He's British and lives in the US. He's a world treasure.
You're quite right mate, he is. He's also Northern, but i'm prepared to overlook that in his case.
i could listen him for hours. such a true and humble person.
The guys a moron.
Patrick Stewart is literally from the future. I'm sure of it now.
I absolutely *LOVE* this man as an artist. Everything he does makes me invested in it. Well, there was that rather embarrassing Emoji movie, but I've managed to convince myself that it was a deep fake. I especially love his work with various productions of Shakespeare's plays, truly magical.
That moment when even the bald guy makes fun of your hair.
Sir Patrick Stewart is my man! XD cheers for him 🤟✨😁
don’t you mean 🖖
*Sir Patrick Stewart 😂
was this actually filmed in 2019?? this man ages backwards
@Richard Kelbe not implying he looks anything like he did in TNG, but definitely better than in the Picard movie trailer, or that viral "mild shock" video from 3 years ago.
It's the beard and make up.
Not only beard and make up, he is even talking more consistently.
Ohh, why is he so cute with that beard? Captain Charisma alert.
I love Sir Patrick Stewart!!! Just seeing him or hearing his voice makes me smile!!!
Sir Patrick was great in the classic British BBC series I Claudius!
Such a wealth of Shakespearean actors in that program. John Hurt as Caligula!
He played Sir Jaenus, a ambitious military man who eventually was undone.
This man is my idol and father figure. Just love him so much.
Such a great conversation between the two
He's such a gem 💕 and classy as ever
As an English fan, yes please Jimmy, come to the uk
He tells stories in the absolute best way! So lucky to have met him by chance once.
To Sir With Love
Legend
I’ve never seen a Star Trek movie or episode ever
But geez he makes me want to watch it
Highly recommend you do.
DUDE it’s well worth the effort, especially The Nest Generation (TNG). There’s a lot of future past timeline stuff that really sticks with you
Second Generation is THE best Star Trek. Excellent writing. Puts the old series to shame or rather simply DATES it.
John Tao The Original Series is amazing
The next generation is fantastic, but beware: the first two seasons are a bit of a rough start. Some gems, but also a lot of clunkers. Once they really established the characters though it was amazing. Gotta watch it!
Jimmy is so engaged he nearly number one'd himself.
Someone just needs to cast Patrick stewart as alfred in the next batman movie. Guy is a universal treasure.
Already set to be Andy Serkis!
M Kasim - Maybe another Batman Movie as Andy Serkis is already confirmed as Alfred in Matt Reeves Batman Movie!
I just want to play a few hands of blackjack and laugh at the world with Sir Patrick.
Speaking of puns....Which one of King Arthur's knights was in charge of the Round Table?Sir Cumference! ;)
I seriously love this man and have since I was a kid watching TNG. What a treat to see him with Jimmy.
Sir Patrick Stewart always makes an interesting talk show guest, imo.
Professor Charles has real class.
I can imagine the 3 Sirs raising their collective voices to say “Don’t you know who we are?” in unison in that fancy restaurant!
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: The Most English Frenchman in the Galaxy! [Honest Trailers]
Slight side tangent, but Sir Patrick (one of the few people I'll bother referring to as such) said that in his mind Picard speaks French, but its translated into English by the universal translators. I don't think TNG ever had an episode where the UT wasn't working for him, so luckily he's never been contradicted by canon!
And then the 3 of them start singing "Cheer up my lads".
Don't know much about English history, do you?
JIMMY the UK needs you and Sir Patrick asked you to go so you should!!! Do your show there for a week !!!
What a great performer and genuinely kind man Sir Patrick is!
Ah, I love the Brits!
What an awesome interview! Love Patrick Stewart! Thank you Jimmy!
I enjoy watching all his work very excellent actor and person
Has he ever narrated a book or something? I would listen to it every night.
sabah firdous There are a few, e.g. A Christmas Carol (Simon & Schuster edition)
I believe he's narrated a few documentaries before (something space-related comes to mind). He definitely has that pleasant Father Time voice so I'd have to agree with you
Classy interview of a great man
Man i wish i'll be that together and full of energy at 79. Hope he makes high 90s like that
"we sat at a table together" - how I would've said it.
Patrick: "I'm an AC-tooor"
When he made that joke about Sir Ben Kingsley wanting to execute one or two people, I immediately thought of the aggressive Gandhi from the Civilization video games...
I seriously wonder who those people were... lol
“Sit around a round table” heh nice Arthur reference
Jimmy: Sir-rounded lol He is quick!
I wish Jimmy and James Corden would take on Boris state of that hair
Are you sure you want to go to Red Alert? it does mean changing the lightbulb.
The man who gave the word "engage" Shakespearian gravitas, and "made it so" great to watch Star Trek in the 90s.
If you could come down and fix Australia while you're at it, that would be swell.
This is such a great interview. Jimmy never tries to be the center of attention and gives his guests room to breathe
I remember him on Dune back in the mid 80s. I'd love to see him on the new one coming up.
Thank god you got around to asking a Star Trek question. I was about to explode wondering when you were going to ask his upcoming series.
Very good interview, they were both great
More Sir Patrick Stewart! Haha, great interview
Patric was so good in...uh, everything he has done.
Sir patrick is awesome💜👍
Would love jimmy to do shows here in the UK 🇬🇧
He likes poker, yet he only made it into one game in TNG
Jesus, do they put make-up on him to look old in the Picard series? Because he sure as hell doesn't look old here!
I think they made him older-er-er for the show
He looks fantastic. He should have kept the beard for Picard.
kevonicus well, he did have a beard in “All Good Things” after all.
7:04 "Wait till we get to the UN" lol
One of the coolest dudes ever - can't wait for the new ST show!
Bring back "BLUNT TALK" it was hilarious!!!
I vote for Sir Patrick Stewart to be the next Prime minister of the UK !!! Bald is beautiful baby !!
Yeah, if you want to live in a Marxist Commune.
@@scott4639 Better than following ex bankers into a ditch.
I would love the 3 knights at a table to be animated lol
So excited for Picard. It looks perfect. Glad it is something different too!
If I could raise a son and him say, 'Dad. Who should I look up to?' I would say 'Sir Patrick Stewart. Follow your dreams'. Also, when that fails, be Jimmy Kimmel and get writers. Kidding Jimbo, You kept on topic, did not go 'fan boy, and truly gave your guest his platform. Well done, 'sir'.
Personally, I hope that Jimmy Kimmel gets to have his chance for to do his show in England someday as an opportunity to entertain the U.K. audience with his comedic wit and interviews just like his British counterpart, Graham Norton. Other than that, the interview with Patrick Stewart was FANTASTIC and FUNNY!
Jimmy should have pulled up a picture of that Farrah Fawcett poster.
Gert Wilders and Marine Le Pen have the same hair. It all makes sense now.
A truly great man
Always think how amazing he was in Excalibur
He is so gracious!!
I wish I look as good as Patrick when I'm 79! Looking forward to Picard. Best Captain ever.
As a fellow West Yorkshireman and Brit. The Tories government must end. Thank you Sir Patrick
Very engaging.
LOVE him; we both love Pit-bulls too! can't wait to see the new show!
Wait is this Patrick Steward from my favorite game oblivion is he Uriel Septim cuz it sounds like him
Hearing that Sir Patrick used to gamble... “I wish I knew that Jean-Luc...”
It was never about the ship, it was always about Patrick and the crew.
It's totally okay to put everything there in his car because he drives a Jaaaaaaag.
Sirs!
I need to build a time machine solely to play black jack with Patrick Stewart in Las Vegas 25 years ago.
I loved Blunt Talk it was an incredible series, and I was very sad when it was canceled.
Love and adoration. What a wonderful human being.
BLUNT TALK WAS THE BOMB
