My bit driver arrived this week. It's very wiggly at lockup, even with the torx screw tightened. I don't have this issue with any of my other implements.
Try it on the other side, mine did the same. I had to reorganize my implements so that the scissors and bit driver were on one side and the other 5 implements on the other.
I also just got my bit driver from Roxon the other day. I found that the double sided short bits from the Steinwhale 10 in 1 Short Stubby Mini Screwdriver works great. Especially like that the Steinwhale bits have a phillips on one side and a flat head on the other
Because the main blade is so easily and cheaply replaced, the steel quality is somewhat less important than with a competing permanent bladed tool. One can swap it out in seconds for $6-7. If it wears down, no biggie. Also, if one happens to carry a mini (4"-5") vice grips in complement, some of the wider/ more slot displacing Roxon tools, like the ferrule, could be carried loose. With the vice grips used as a handle, leaves many open slots in the multi-tool for other short Flex options, and the loose tools are tiny, take up almost no space. This is how I plan to play it.
They have a short serrated blade at least. They do need to focus on making some additional short tools to backup the long versions when all the 2 long slots are in use.
Im curious does the tiny bit set work with their philips ? Instead of taking up all that space use the Philips and the bit set. Im wondering what is the best tools to start with? As much as i love this idea it seems the bibury with the saw/file replacement has a lot more to offer.
👍🏼 I almost like it’s lock lever stuff and the amount of tool choices but otherwise everything about it side by side with the goat; the goat seems all around way better to me. Good vid tho🙂 O, and the price is good:)
Time for me to get one. My question is what is a good recommendation of other small implements? My Phantom is getting almost daily usage. What about double-sided Wiha bits?
I just got my bit driver yesterday! It doesn't look like it's one solid piece? I may be wrong. It works great! I wonder if its compatible with their bit set you can buy on their site?
The 1/4” to 4mm converter is a great idea because the smaller bits are super portable. I don’t know if you could close the tool with the adapter on, would be something to try.
There is a difference in an old idea and an older idea done WELL
Can't wait to be able to get one in Australia!
I've managed to get one in nsw using post forwarding services
I like my Roxon Flex a lot, it's a nice tool.
It is!
Waiting with excitement for my bit driver to arrive, really enjoying the other implements so far!
Nice!
Heads up... the double sided bit that comes on the Milwaukee Fastback utility knife with bit driver, works really well on the flex.

Wow. Mine doesn't seem that way. I would contact Roxon.

I received my bit driver last week, very impressed with the quality
Endless fun for dads. If I didn't already have 5 multis I think I might buy it. Might anyway.

Very cool!
Wow that is neat. Did they only come as a kit or do they sell the bits? A dual phillips/flathead would be nice to keep in the tool.
Thank you for this comment, i was very curious how the Steinwhale bits would fit with it.

Good idea!
Literally going to do the same thing since I like carrying a small vise grip in my 5th pocket as well.
They should make a short saw implement
@DanielTAGyota They do have a t shank adapter coming I believe.
@@hvacbudget8600 yeah well no one is gonna carry around a saw blade for EDC but the t shank is a good idea

Thank you for sharing and reviewing. This looks great!
Thanks for watching!
I’m lovin’ it! The tool at the current price point is a game changer!
Very good idea!
Its looks are quite handsome to boot!
Would have appreciated if Roxon allowed for a 90 degree locking position for the bit driver
just you wait, the community for sure will come out with one for the market. It would be too easy to make.
Great video, thank you! I wonder if the Steinwhale Stubby double-sided bits fit? That's a great set BTW.
I'll have to check that out!
Hello guys what is the lock up like...blade play wobble???
Is the clip from a KS2? Looking for a clip for mine.
I don't think so, but not sure. Mine came with a clip, didn't yours?
so many great choices

You can get a 4mm adaptor to 1/4" bit. Most Roxons uses 4mm bits. Both are great tools!

Double sided wiha bits don't fit in this bit driver. It's definitely a great tool. Lots of great choices to chose from to fit in the tool!

I think their one bit set is 4mm so you would need to get a 1/4" to 4mm adapter bit which could be useful.

EDC both the ROXON Flex and the NEXTOOL E1… still waiting on LEATHERMAN for something new
Great combo!
All the more reason to buy one 😆
Definitely!
I feel like with this kind of tool one could end buying a lot of add ons but without sticker shock because it would be spread out over time.
@@ToolTechGeek Very true!
@@hvacbudget8600 After watching this video I did finally get around to ordering one 😆
You and MaxlvlEDC convinced me
Cool!
Gotta pick this one up , cant be worse than GOAT tool somehow LOL.
So if you fit in the bit driver and the ferro rod, you're only left with room for three more tools? They need to make a bigger flex for men! 😂
LoL!
