I started collecting OML when he and Maestro fought the first time. Seeing him struggle with his advanced age and weakened healing power made me realize how much I took his heart for granted. If you didn't read the Old Man Hawkeye mini series, I highly recommend it. I'd say it was just as good if not (slightly) better than OML.

Dead man Logan sounds like a story that's just twenty to thirty pages of a rotting corpse as time passes. I'd check it out because that sounds like an amazing joke gone too far but I can't imagine it'd sell well.

They really should do like a Netflix type series for Wolverine
I personally think doing something like that to introduce the X-Men into the MCU would be the right way to go about it if the production value was high enough
then just have the same actors play the characters in the eventual MCU movies they will be starring in even if they only did two Mutant characters with their own series and and the main X-Men series
between the three of them they could introduce mutants to the MCU very efficiently
For instance with Wolverine
They could do A Game of Thrones production quality rated R series with 1 hour long episodes& call it

Have it tell the origen story of James Howlett AKA Logan Codename: Weapon-X /The Wolverine
if you really want to be crafty you can have the whole series being flashbacks facilitated by Professor X it allows for retconning here and there through either implanted memories or his mind filling in the holes in his memory so they're not a perfect recollection of what happened which avoids plot holes it would also allow the series to not exactly have to be linear so you can rearrange and show the flashbacks as he runs into things that remind him of his past Awakening and unlocking old memories kind of like the old Highlander series
Start out with young James showing the relationship between him and his childhood friends Rose & the abusive groundskeeper Thomas Logan's son Dog Logan and life on the Howlett estate
once that's established time skip to a teenage James Howlett and the growing puppy love between him and Rose
James eventually catches a now cruel sadistic and brash Dog Logan making unwanted sexual advances at Rose when James & Rose tell dog's father about it Thomas kills Dog's dog in retaliation
when James father finds out about Thomas putting down the puppy it results in Dog & his father Thomas Logan's expulsion from the estate
Then Thomas's eventual return later that evening drunk with a shotgun killing James's father after a heated exchange of words suggesting James's mother and him had an affair and James is actually Thomas's child with that being the Catalyst that triggers James' mutant powers he pops his claws for the first time avenging his father and scarring dog's face
immediately followed by his mother going insane turning on her son and calling him a monster
this causing James to flee Into the Night never to return
followed by Rose picking up the shotgun and committing suicide in front of Dog
with rose being blamed for the entire event as the police arrived Dog was the only one left to tell the story
go through a second Time Skip and pick up with James Howlett's grandfather hiring and now young adult Dog to find James to bring him home not knowing that Dog plans to kill him ignorant of how bad of an idea this is
follow him through the Civil War World War 1 & World War II
his exploits in Japan
the weapon x storyline
cover his time with with Alpha flight
Ending with the fight between him and the Hulk that was his original introduction in the comics
After you cover Wolverine's origin
Making most of these flashbacks would give a great deal of flexibility allowing them to even include guest appearances from Hugh Jackman as Old Man Logan you could also introduce new characters like Laura Kinney x-23 and honey badger and even Jimmy Hudson
Wolverine has an extensive Rogues gallery which is really what makes a high production value series like this possible on top of the fact that many of his villains have healing factors that rival his own so even the most brutal of confrontations most likely won't result in the death of the villain and even includes the Hulk but sabertooth Lady Deathstrike Omega Red Daikin Stryker Silver Samurai Wendigo cyber Romulus Magneto Mister sinister apocalypse even Heroes / anti-heroes like The Punisher Deadpool even cyclops from time to time so there's plenty to keep it going for dozens of seasons

@Kingdrago101 I didn't say it needs to be on Netflix I said a Netflix type series there is a big difference and by that I just mean theatrical release quality and budget on a series with 6 to 12 one hour episodes per season that would most certainly be released on Disney's streaming service they're getting ready to Launch
