For this, our seventh Barrel Aged edition, we wanted to try something slightly different. To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we thought we’d better do something really special. One of our most popular beers, the incredible Idris Melba (Peach Melba Sour’s more robust elder sibling), is a perfectly balanced sour beer, brewed with a host of pale malts, oats and vanilla providing a sweet base-layer for the sharp and fruity hit of peach and raspberry. Lovingly transferred to freshly disgorged French brandy barrels, we let it mature for over ten months, bringing the addition of warming oak and accentuated vanilla notes as it became even smoother. Here’s to the next ten years - cheers!
