I thought it was pretty decent Don, I got licorice more than coffee. One was enough at over 8%😊

I love this stuff. It seems to have flown under the radar of people. I had to give it a while to open up though! Great price though. I found it almost like a very alcoholic coca-cola!

The Veil are great they do an annual collab with Cloudwater called Chubbles. Never a bad beer

Although not my type I always think the ideal beer with a fry up to cut through the fat of the sausages, bacon and fried bread. Be nice that🍺

Don I had this the other night, my opinion is that it's better than Verdant Putty which is over hyped, I enjoyed this beer as it had a touch of bitterness for me and held back the sweet malts, cheers 🍻

Hope Butcher makes great IPA's If you are a hop head you can't go wrong with them. However, if you aren't a Hop head, then sometimes the Hop Butcher can be lack luster. This is probably one of those beers for the extreme hop heads. Cheers!

Never really bothered with pilsners as I find them hard to review. There's so many decent cheap German pilsners available so it'd have to be outstanding to get my money. Sounds decent enough though mate. Cheers!

Cheers Don - they make a very nice, gentle fruity beer. They make some absolute blockbusters but seem to have dialled down a bit on recent beers. Still seek them out if I see them up on the bar though 🍻

This sounds great. I love dunkelweissens however you spell it. I keep meaning to try their range as one of my first beers was the Dorset Piddle. Cheers from another beer taster!

did you say opium? I know people put all kinds of things into beer before purity laws and such, but opium? If people were putting opium in the beer I wonder if they were selling it as medicinal elixirs or if it was to enhance/replace the alcohol. I wonder if TK and I can find that beer. I can't say that I have ever seen any IOM beers over here. Cheers!

Hop Butcher makes great IPAs I haven't seen them do much else, but if you like IPAs you can't go wrong with Hop Butcher.

I had this a long time ago. I seem to remember it being decent, but nothing special.
